Transfer of "images"

I have over 100 photos taken on my Z10 and I see them all in my "images" folder. However, when I connect with Blackberry Ling and click on the "images" folder, I ge the prompt that there are none on my terminal, yet I do see them on the terminal.
I have tried to find related information in the help and forum but to no avail. The same goes for the other folders like music.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

In Link, you will want to tell Link where to look for images and pictures on your computer.
By default, on a Windows PC, it will look at your user account > My Pictures, etc.

How do I transfer jpg images transfered to an SD card, into an iPad? Have tried lots - nothing works.
I would like to buy an iPad if this could be solved.
I am on a PC
I have iTunes on my desptop, not my laptop.
When traveling I shoot RAW 22mg photos.
I resize down to 2mg file for screen.
I transfer to SD card to then transfer to an iPad.
I use wifes new iPad with SD card accessory to try to get it to work but it doesn't.
I created a test directory with subdirectories
Synced it to iPhone 3GS and worked fine.
Will not do syncing from laptop because ...no iTunes anddon't want it on laptop.
Did experiment with wife's MAC desktop - it worked fine
Card is an SD HC which supposedly works fine.
Apple would have a customer if I could do this.

So far you are leading the race. I tried more scenarios on the SD card and the DCIM + names no longer than 8 characters works. However this naming and sorting convention still falls short for me. I realize what we want and what we get are sometimes two different things and I always try to seek a workaround.
If I breakdown and install iTunes on my laptop and sync just my main directory with many longer than 8 chars sub directory names and within those many jpg's with longer than 8 chars names would that solve my dilemma?...like how it works on the iPhone?
On the recent test with the SD attachment the sub directories did not import or even show - only those in the root. I named one sub directory with only 8 chars and one file inside less than 8 chars - not found by iPad.
I am hesitant to do this (add iTunes to laptop) because I may not necessarily want all files synced on desktop, laptop and iPad.
I sort many files based on events and travel days and most of the events I do are several days, hence many subdirectories...sometimes 5 weeks gone.
Sorry to be a pain but I am trying to buy an iPad...but so far not practical reason.

Can I create a system image with System Image Utility and then transfer the image folder to another server?

I am currently in the process of creating several images to restore for classroom purposes. I am wondering if it is possible to use the System Image Utility on a computer which has Server Admin Tools installed, then transfer that image folder directly to the "NetBoot" folder on our current Apple Netboot Server. Has anyone tried this and/or succeeded? I'd like to get some feedback before attempting it myself on our college's netboot server. Thanks!

We've run into a few problems concerning this process. When we create the image on a seperate machine from the server using SIU and then place it in the NetBoot folder, not every .nbi folder created works properly. We're running into errors that say "Could not find any scan information. The source needs to be imagescanned before it can be restored". This does not happen with every image, but it does happen with computers which have a lot of programs installed on them. Is there a way to imagescan the .nbi folder and/or resolve this issue without going through the process of making a completely new NetRestore image?

Best way to "transfer" Aperture images from MacBook Pro to iMac?

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro 15" to import and edit images (within Aperture and CS6 as an external editor) when I'm out in the field shooting.
I prefer to have all my images in one location and thus desire to copy eveything to my home base iMac when I return home.
What is the best way to "transfer" those images so that my homebase iMac Aperture Library can recognize the new masters and edited versions? Complicating this is the desire to "stamp" each image with a metadata preset upon import that I can do either at the laptop import or upon transfer to the iMac.
I know just enough to be dangerous but clearly there is an optimal way to consolidate and manage images when using two computers.
Welcome any thoughts from fellow photographers!

Thanks Kirby. I utilize Aperture 3 by reference instead of a compiled library. So I have individual folder/projects stored on my laptop. By exporting as a library, does Aperture bring these folders and related images "with it"?
What I don't want to lose is any post processing I do in the field which creates separate versions and/or .PSD files.

How to transfer bitmap images?

In the .NET client application that I am developing, I have to transfer bitmap images from the client to the SAP server. The size of each image file ranges from 1M to 10M. I am wondering if there is any standard RFC or BAPI that I can use to transfer chunks of binary data. Or, perhaps there is an RFC that can be used to transfer files.

to be stored in ABAP XSTRING format.

Transfer an image from VB Picture Box to IMAQ Viewer

Is there a way to take the current image from CWIMAQVision1 and place it in a VB Picture box? Similar to Picture1.Picture = Picture2.Image in VB takes the current image and transfers it to another picture box? Can you also do the reverse and transfer the image from a picture box and place it in CWIMAQVision1?

No, there is no way to directly move an image from the Picture Box to the CWIMAQ Viewer and back. The reason for this is that the CWIMAQ Viewer requires a different image data structure than the picture box. It is not possible to read a file with the LoadPicture command and then send it to CWIMAQ Viewer. You must read the file with one of the Vision tools to read files such as CWIMAQVision1.ReadFile.

JPEG photos are compatible with your device. As long as these images are in the same folder as your pictures, then they should sync. Below, I have included a couple articles that show you how to sync this data to your iPod.

What do you mean transfer? You can't copy files with an hdmi cable. If you mean display them on your tv, that's another story.
When the hdmi cable is connect you should see your tv and macbook flash blue. After this your tv is setup as an extra screen. Move anything you want to the right on your macbook screen and they will appear on the tv.

BB Locks up when I transfer photo images to the Micro SD Card

Any one have any idea why my 8330 with 1GB micro SD card locks up when I transfer photo images to the card?
They are 1.25 MB JPG files. I tried transferring to the card directly and transferring to the card via Roxio. Roxio asked if I want to convert.... I agreed to convert the files, but the BB still locks up. I only had this BB for about 5 days and I have already found several thing I really don't like. This is the top of the list, second is streaming music won't use Stereo Bluetooth headphones and the Navigation App won't use headphones at all and the GPS App, doesn't work consistently in a vehicle (what's up with that, where else would I want to use it?).

I would put my money on the memory card being defective. The fact that you verified that the one file that the device
(regurgitated) was not corrupt. If you transferred it from the PC DIRECTLY to the media card as you say,
the Blackberry wasn't involved except as a port.
Try this; remove the media card put it on the reader and load the images. If the same this happens it's not related to the Blackberry as it isn't even in the equation.
I would try reformatting the card, and making sure the following options are set on your BB.
Go to OPTIONS _MEDIA CARD_ enable all options except for ENCRYPTION MODE make sure that is none.
Verify that the total space shown on the bottom of the screen reflects the amount of memory on the media card,
Allowing for formatting space) ex. On my 8gb card I shoe 7.6gb available.
If the problem reoccurs it would make sense it's the media card.
Can't have to much practice at field stripping your device right? (USAR 70 )

Help Have to restore my iPhone and then transfer the images via iTunes / iPhoto onto my iPhone, but I keep getting this message> iPhone "iPhone 4" can not synchronize. The required file does not exist. < Do not know what to do and hope someone can help :-)

Connect your Device to Computer.
Select your iPhone under "Devices" on the left Pane.
On the right Pane, select INFO tab.
Scroll down to "SYNC Bookmark with" make sure the box is checked. Then select your browser bookmark.
Scroll down to bottom and click the "SYNC" or "APPLY" button.

Transfer photo images to PC for printing

1. Tried saving image as jpeg and as png file (rather than PSD), but got errors when attaching to email as transfer media.
2. Tried to 'flatten the image' using PS editor, but most of the EDit function items are grey (inactive).
Does anyone have suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?
Alternately, can anyone suggest a better approach to saving and transferring images from Photo Shop to a printable format?

I'm awaiting a new phone and sim as I'm currently experiencing problems and cannot transfer my pictures from my phone to pc and don't want to lose them when I exchange my phone.
The Nokia PC Suite - Image Store states that "no new images or videos to be stored". I don't know if any have automatically transfered or not, but I would like to save all the pictures to a directory of my choosing.
Can anyone help?

When you choose to transfer you can see which directory it saves the file. You can choose to change the directory.

Only want to transfer NEW images and videos to N70...

Im using PC Suite 6.80.22 and when i try to transfer all of my images and videos over using "image store" it will only transfer the whole lot over.
How can I set it so that it only transfers the new images and videos? Otherwise, I end up with duplicates, triplicates etc.

Bridge is just a file browser. It does not contain any photos inside the application itself. Bridge will see and display your photos wherever you put them.
You cannot "transfer the edited images to Bridge". That is wholly nonsensical. Just use Bridge to navigate to your image files, wherever you put them.

Iphoto 11 is not recognizing jpeg files downloaded from camera and card reader. Nor will it allow me to transfer from image capture

iphoto 11 is not recognizing jpeg files from either the camera and card reader. Canon Eos rebel dig. Nor will it allow me to transfer images from image capture to iphoto. No problem downloading to image capture.

Sounds like a damaged card. Get your photos off the card with Image Capture and then reformat the card in the camera. Take some pictures and see if the card is recognized by iPhoto and the card reader.

How can I transfer an image of one person to another photo?

I'd like to erase a person from a photo of two people & transfer a better image of that person from another photo in the Organiser. I'm using PE 9 on a MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard. I don't have a clue, please help.

Open image A - image with poor appearance of the person
Open image B - image with good appearance of the person
Use one of the selection tools (e.g. selection brush tool, lasso tool) to make the selection on image B.
Go to Edit>copy. this will place the selection on the clipboard
Go to image A
Go to Edit>paste
The "good appearing" person should be on a separate layer for the image A
Access the move tool to position, and to resize using the corner handles
If the lighting is different, or if there are other problems, you will have to correct using adjustment layers
Not infrequently, it is necessary to use the clone tool to deal with background issues.
If you should like to post both pictures via the camera icon in the reply box, we can probably refine the directions.
Be sure to work in full Editor.
