transfer of photos from ipod to ipad via bluetooth, help

The blluetooth isn't meant to do that. It's largely meant for headphones and keyboards.
now, if you have the camera connection kit  you can attach your iPod to your iPad using that (plugging the iPod's charging cable to the USB part of the CCK) and the photos will transfer. I've done it with my Touch.

When I transfer my photos from iPod to pc I can't open them. I have photoshop and ACDSee and other grafic programs but non of them can open the files. I need help. Please!
    Thanks

You'll likely need the assistance of some third party software such as the one below to get the job done.  Keep in mind that your photos will no longer be in their full resolution, but instead will be the scaled down thumbnail versions that were optimized for viewing on your iPod.

  • I am new to iphone., want to transfer some files from my LG  KM900 via bluetooth, having trouble pairing, is it possible

    Hi there,
New to the iphone, and love it, but I would like to send a couple of files and photos to it from my previous phone via bluetooth... My previous phone was an LG KM900 and im having difficulty pairing with it... saying its not supported.,
Can someone give me a list of compatible bluetooth(able) phones, and i will do it through a third party...
Many thanks and I do hope there is a way to do this
    regards
    Debz

This is not a feature of the iphone or iOS.
Bluetooth is supported for stereo headsets/speakers, handsfree telephone
devices/headsets, some keyboards, some peer-to-peer apps from the app
store and internet tethering where provided by the carrier.
Other than this it will not connect to a phone/computer/device.  (thanks to ckuan for the wording)
You could try emailing the files/photos from the LG and then open the emails
on the iPhone. Depending on the type of file, the iPhone should be able to at
least view the contents - editing will require an app capable of dealing with that
particular type of file. Photos should be viewable unless in proprietary format.

  • Will Mountain Lion allow the transfer of photos from iPod to iMac?

    Hi
I'm aware that in previous versions of OS X, one can transfer photos actually taken on an iPod touch, but not those previously sent to the ipod by ones iMac.
I'm wondering if this inability has been overcome in Mountain Lion.
    Advice welcomed.
Btw, I've located some software which will, it appears, do the job!  http://www.iskysoft.com/syncpod.html
Has anyone used this software successfully? Are you aware of any other product suitable for such purpose?
    Cheers!

now need to know how I get these photos onto my
P.C. I use the Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard
when I transfer photos from the camera to the p.c.
but cant use this for the ipod.
    Why not?
If it doesn't work as you normall use it, open iTunes
prefs -> iPod and check Enable disk use.
It should show up in your program.
If is still does not, you can open the iPod (it's on
the desktop) and your photos are in the DCIM folder.

Thank you so much for your help. I've been feeling a bit dense about it all!
I managed to find the photos in the DCIM folder and from there I called each one up and copied them individually to "My Pictures". It's a bit long winded but it has the desired result which is to display them from My Pictures as a slide show on my P.C.
It's fun trying it all out, today I also managed (not quite sure how) to download some French language lessons and upload them on the ipod. I'm sure I'm probably not using the most efficient methods but I'll keep going ! Thank you once again for being so helpful.

  • Transfer of Photos from ipod to P.C.

I'm new to ipod and in need of a bit of help. I've set up the ipod and have transferred music from itunes to ipod no problem. I also managed to transfer photos to the ipod from my Sony cybershot using the camera connector. I now need to know how I get these photos onto my P.C. I use the Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard when I transfer photos from the camera to the p.c. but cant use this for the ipod. I cant find a photo option in itunes so I'm stuck and need direction in the most basic terms possible! I was hoping to use the camera connector on holiday instead of lots of memory sticks so I'd be so grateful for some help.

  • How can i transfer my stuff from ipod to ipad without a computer

Is there anyway possible to transfer directly from ipod touch to ipad?  I don't have acces to a regular computer and have things I need to transfer over.

    Hi dsteineke,
With iCloud you don't need to transfer many things because they are available to all devices set up under your iCloud account.
Here is a link that will give you an overview of all of the various content that you can share without syncing:

  • How can i transfer my photos from iphone to ipad

hello i just want to know if somebody can help me to tranfer pics from iphone to ipad pls

    Hi Samaur,
If you have iCloud, then your Photostream will be available on both devices automatically. If you want to sync pictures not on Photostream, then you have a couple of options:
Apple sells a cable that will enable you to link your iPhone to your iPad and transfer the pictures that way
You can get them from your iPhone to your iPad by syncing them through iTunes on your computer
I will tell you that I have used both ways to transfer pictures (the first way before iCloud was available), and when you do a direct transfer using the cable, it may cause issues with the Events in iPhoto. I had to do a lot of moving and renaming to get them straightened out with those direct link photos. It seems like years ago, but probably not that long, but either way - I can't tell you exactly what the problems were, but I won't be using that method anymore. iCloud pretty much solved my issue - with Photostream, I get all my pictures on both devices without doing anything. So, I would strongly recommend iCloud as the way to go...
    Cheers,

  • Move photos from iPod to iPad

Want to move photos using icloud back up

How do I get the photos from iPhoto to my iPad and iPod?  It's easy to move them the opposite direction.
    iOS 8.1.2
Did you enable iCloud Photo Library (Beta) on your iPad or iPod? If you enabled iCloud Photo Library (Beta) on your iOS devices, neither syncing photos with iTunes nor My Photo Stream will work any longer to upload photos from your Mac to the iPad or iPod. There is no easy way left to get photos from your Mac to the iOS devices.
In that case upload by Mail, by Shared Photo Stream, or use the iCloud Web Interface at https://www.icloud.com/#photos

  • How to transfer old photos from iMac to iPad using iCloud Photo Library

iMac with Yosemite, iPad with iOS 8.1.  New photos taken on any device are shared automatically with all other devices.  But, older photos on iMac are not being shared with iPad or iPhone.  The options to synch selected photos on iMac with iPad don't seem to be there any more now that iCloud Photo Library is enabled on iPad.
I imagine that iCloud Photo Library's capabilities only apply to new photos.  Is there a way to move old photos over for viewing on other devices?

    John,
You can share selected photos to your Photo Stream, if you enable the iCloud features, or create an album of the selected photos and transfer them using iTunes Photo sync.
For iCloud see: iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ, iCloud: Using and troubleshooting Shared Photo Streams
For iTunes see: iTunes: Syncing photos
Or, simply mail them in high quality and save them from your Mail to your camera roll, if it are only a few photos.

    Léonie
