Transfer of photos from Ipod to PC

I have transfered photos from my digital camera to the Ipod. Is it now possible to tranfer these photos from the Ipod to my PC. Can't see my photos on iTunes, just my music.

Yes. Enable disc mode (done through iTunes in iPod preferences) and you will be able to get your photos off the iPod and onto the computer.

The blluetooth isn't meant to do that. It's largely meant for headphones and keyboards.
now, if you have the camera connection kit  you can attach your iPod to your iPad using that (plugging the iPod's charging cable to the USB part of the CCK) and the photos will transfer. I've done it with my Touch.

  • I can't transfer my photos from iPod to pc.

When I transfer my photos from iPod to pc I can't open them. I have photoshop and ACDSee and other grafic programs but non of them can open the files. I need help. Please!
    Thanks

You'll likely need the assistance of some third party software such as the one below to get the job done.  Keep in mind that your photos will no longer be in their full resolution, but instead will be the scaled down thumbnail versions that were optimized for viewing on your iPod.

  • Will Mountain Lion allow the transfer of photos from iPod to iMac?

    Hi
I'm aware that in previous versions of OS X, one can transfer photos actually taken on an iPod touch, but not those previously sent to the ipod by ones iMac.
I'm wondering if this inability has been overcome in Mountain Lion.
    Advice welcomed.
Btw, I've located some software which will, it appears, do the job!  http://www.iskysoft.com/syncpod.html
Has anyone used this software successfully? Are you aware of any other product suitable for such purpose?
    Cheers!

now need to know how I get these photos onto my
P.C. I use the Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard
when I transfer photos from the camera to the p.c.
but cant use this for the ipod.
    Why not?
If it doesn't work as you normall use it, open iTunes
prefs -> iPod and check Enable disk use.
It should show up in your program.
If is still does not, you can open the iPod (it's on
the desktop) and your photos are in the DCIM folder.

Thank you so much for your help. I've been feeling a bit dense about it all!
I managed to find the photos in the DCIM folder and from there I called each one up and copied them individually to "My Pictures". It's a bit long winded but it has the desired result which is to display them from My Pictures as a slide show on my P.C.
It's fun trying it all out, today I also managed (not quite sure how) to download some French language lessons and upload them on the ipod. I'm sure I'm probably not using the most efficient methods but I'll keep going ! Thank you once again for being so helpful.

  • Transfer of Photos from ipod to P.C.

I'm new to ipod and in need of a bit of help. I've set up the ipod and have transferred music from itunes to ipod no problem. I also managed to transfer photos to the ipod from my Sony cybershot using the camera connector. I now need to know how I get these photos onto my P.C. I use the Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard when I transfer photos from the camera to the p.c. but cant use this for the ipod. I cant find a photo option in itunes so I'm stuck and need direction in the most basic terms possible! I was hoping to use the camera connector on holiday instead of lots of memory sticks so I'd be so grateful for some help.

  • Cannot update iPod touch 4g after my laptop has been reimaged. I also cannot transfer any photos from ipod to mac - iphoto won't open. Tells me I need to update it then says that my software is up to date. ARGH!!!

My 10 year old son has a ton of photos on his ipod that I cannot risk losing (they are of our pet bunny that recently died). Help?
I cannot update his ipod software either. I got all the way to the last part of the process and "Unknown error" (6) popped up. ARGH!!!

    Just email them to yourself.

  • Is there any way to transfer photos from ipod touch (2nd generation

Is there any way to transfer photos from ipod touch (2nd generation & OS is 4.2.1) to PC? I am struggling a lot. The OS cannot be upgradable beyond 4.2.1
I am wondering if there could be many other ways to transfer the photos like:
    1. with the help of any android app
    2. ipod touch to iphone/ipod latest version
    3. any 3rd party free softwares (there are paid 3rd party softwares but I dont want to invest)
I did try some of the options:
    1. I could emailed only 6 photos in one email (I have almost 800 photos and would be time consuming.
    2. I'm trying to access my google account on my ipod but it keeps coming up with "oops! your browser seems to have cookies disabled..." My cookies are not disabled. Safari is the only browser for ipod touch and could not be able to installed not only any new browser but also any iphone apps. Updates for the existing apps not possible at all. So this option of uploading the photos on google drive is ruled out.
Anybody is there to help me out? Sorry for such a long inventory.
    Thank you!

If they were synced to the iPod you need a third-party program like TouchCopy or PhoneView

how do I transfer photos from iPod to Airbook ?

The photos you synced to your iPod through iTunes are no longer in their full resolution, but instead are scaled down thumbnails of those photos.  So if you do manage to get them off your iPod, they will be quite small in size compared to the original ones you lost.
In order to get them off of your iPod, you'll need the help of some sort of 3rd party software. Here is one option.

If they did happen to be full resolution photos, see this Apple support document.

  • How to transfer photos from iPod classic (earlier version) to my mc

I just brought a new imac and I am trying to transfer my photos from my ipod classic earlier version (software version 1.3, 30GB) to my iMAC.

The photos syned to the iPod are very low res versions of the original photos, optimized to fit on the iPod's small screen while taking up as little space in storage as possible.  They are stored in a single special database file.  You cannot use iTunes to transfer them to the Mac, and if you could, they would look bad blown up to a larger size on the iMac's screen.
There is a setting on the iPod's Photos screen in iTunes (a checkbox) that says Include full-resolution photos.  IF that setting was checked when you synced the photos to the iPod, you can Enable disk use and find the originial full res photo files in the Photos folder (on the iPod).
Otherwise, you should transfer the original photo files from your previous computer, if possible.
