Transfer of quantities to SOP TC Ke1e

Hi Guys
In have planned quantities using KEPM and posted them I then ran TC KE1E to transfer to SOP.I got the result that transfer was done successfully. I used TC MC88 to check the transfer but found that the transaction KE1E did not update SOP. Please held me resolve this issue.

When user changes order in COR2 and releases .Materials tab will be having quantities with 3 decimals but my user wants to round it up to a whole number in the transfer order which gets created after saving the transaction.
I need to see the changes when I run tcode LT22
I know we have userexits for COR1 but let me know if
PPCO0007 Exit when saving production order is the coreect one??
because when i kept a break-point it is not stopping.

Transfer sales data into SOP

Dear All,
We have a very unique require i.e. -
We want to plan our production based on past three months actual sales billing qty. As these information is already available in SAP hence we do not want to enter this information in MD61. Best of my knowledge we can transfer / copy this information directly into SOP. Will any help me out by means of giving step by step process.

T code - MC87
Transfering data from SIS = S003
Data available in S003 in periods and not in date.
when I transfer SIS data I am getting the error as given below.
In 1st pop up I have to fill up source infor structure -
I have entered -
Info structure = S003
Version = &(
From = 01.08.2006
To = 01.10.2008
I am geting the folowing warning in another pop-up -
DATA AS FROM 01.09.2008 ONLY (PLANING START) CAN BE COPIED.
If I ignor this warning system does not copy any information.

Error in Data Transfer : From CO-PA to SOP Flexible Planning

I am working on a Scenario of Transferring CO-PA data to Flexible Planning, I am encountering few problems, I have done the followig steps, request you to check and get back to me..

Mass Processing Job : ZSO-PA
We are able to transfer data from CO-PA to standard SOP, But we tried for transfer to Flexible Planning SOP by creating Mass Processing Job setting as below configuration path.
Production -> Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) ->Functions -> Mass Processing -> Transfer LIS / CO-PA
After executing Job MC8G - Schedule, we checked in Tcode - MC8I u2013 Check, Status: Processed with errors, And also data are not displayed in Tcode : MC95 for Material & active version.
We couldnu2019t find log for error status.
What is the method / Procedure for transfer data to Flexible Planning SOP?

When checking a mass processing job in SOP/flexible planning (Transaction MC8I), in the log error message "Activity and COPA profile have different planning versions?
Or planned/actual indicator in the COPA profile?
Version should be        A00
Please check the MC8S. Then an Avtivity in MC8T
after you create the job in MC8D with the acitivity you have defined for your info structure.
After that check in MD62 for plan value.

1. MC21

3. MC8A
4. MC61
5. MC93
6. MC8V/MC8Q
7. MC90
In MC90 u transfer the requirements from SOP to demand management.Here u give the requirements type and the planning version from which it is to be transferred.

Is there a way to mass transfer the data from SOP to LTP for all materials in a plant in one step?

Hi Tom,
I guess that when you say transfer from SOP to LTP you mean that in SOP you create Planned independent requirements, that in the operative planning cycle you normally transfer to Demand Management.
In the case when you want to transfer those PIRs to LTP, just transfer them to a non active version of Demand Management, and include that version in the definition of your LTP planning scenario.

SOP for product group

Hi experts,
I have a problem transferring planed Sales quantities by product groups to SOP.
I did steps:
1.     Planned sales quantities by material, KEPM.
2.     Created product group with members material, MC84
3.     Transferred planned sales quantities to SOP into inactive version, KE1E
I can see or change SOP for material (MC88, MC89), but plan for product group is empty (MC82, MC83)!!!! Iu2019ve tried to create sales plan for product group transferring it from COPA (MC82), but it doesnu2019t work. Accordingly Break down PG plan (MC76) doesnu2019t work because plan for product group is empty and there is nothing to distribute.
4.     Iu2019ve checked planning type SOPKAPA for info structure S076. Structure row Sales has Aggregation method Total created. Iu2019ve tried to change planning type SOPKAPA, e.g. inserted new structure row. But for product group plan I see the same view, I mean there is no new structure row. Is it possible, that plan for product group used another planning type not SOPKAPA?
The main question is u2013 how to aggregate/ sum planned sales quantities for product group?

I guess,you know the limitations while transferring COPA plan data to SOP in PP module.
however,let me repeat 1.Unit of measure maintained in COPA module and PP module should be same.
further,2.You can transfer planning data to SOP at the product level or the product group level. If you want to plan and transfer data at the product group level, you need to create a characteristic (or characteristics) to represent the product group levels in SOP when you maintain your operating concern. Since in SOP product groups are stored as products in the database, make sure the characteristic you create for the product group has the same type and length as the characteristic "Product" (CHAR 18).
Kindly check these two limitations.

Integrated Planning in COPA using KEPM and loading of quantity to SOP

Hi,
We are in process of testing integrated planning in COPA using KEPM and loading of quantity to SOP (MC87) or Transfer Qty to SOP - KE1E. I created a planning level with basic information to plan quantity on product with Period/Year, Version, Plant, Product, Record Type (F), Unit Sales Qty.
Also created Planning Package & Planning Parameter with Planning layout and entered quantity for a material which creates a profitability segment with quantity update. The problem occurs when transferring to SOP the sales quantity either using MC87 or KE1E, it goes into a loop and times out. We tried using different parameters, but ended up with same result.
Are we missing some Config/steps here, any thoughts will help.

Hi,
You need to transfer COPA plan to inactive version of SOP through KE1E. Thereafter, in PP, the same is transfered to active version through MC78. Thereafter it is transferred to Demand Management through MC74.
Please check with your PP consultant.

I think you are misunderstood something. The KSPP transaction is used to transfer the activity for the planned order; either long-term or short term to cost center activity type planning (in scheduled activity; and with reconciliation function, can copy to plan quantity).
It is not related to sales forecast from COPA to SOP which KE1E t-code is used.
For KSPP, you can set the transfer control in configuration. Alternatively, without configuration, you can use flexible transfer (menu Environment -> Flexible transfer). This provide that you have the master data in PP and CO setup correctly.

I have activated CO based COPA and i am transferring sales orders to PA using Record A.
I wish to transfer sales quantity in the sales order to COPA and unfortunately this particular field is not getting transferred.
But i could transfer billed qty in the billing document to COPA
Please let me know how to achieve this

There is a standard field for Sales Quantity and it would get transferred if the Sale Order is linked to a Production Order as it would get billed for sure...if it is a normal sales order it will not get transferred...Please go through the following OSS Note

Forecast functions and models - BI 7.0 IP

Hello IP Gurus,
(This one is a long one but please help me)
I am involved in a new ECC and BI implementation project (blueprint phase) and we will conduct some workshops
soon on SAP processes and so on.
Some PP functional folks are looking at the possibility of presenting Integrated Planning as a potential
solution to support Sales Forecasting process.
They have asked me to look at scenario where IP could be used to collect and revised sales forecasts.
(including using standard forecast models like some available in APO or other commercial planning tool !!).
I did attend teched 07 in Las Vegas and participated in hands on session for IP.
(basically the only practical experience i have with IP)
Some of my colleagues have also attend IP training (4 days) recently but there is not much details on the
potential retraction process available in the course documentation to pull data from IP back to ECC (Such as CO_PA retraction).
Here we are not talking COPA but other types of NON-real data such (sales forecasts and/or CO budgets).
I did look into SDN and find some references around retraction process available from BW (Either SEM_BCS or IP).
(how-to documents etc...)
Few questions:
1-     Based on some slides from teched 07, IP does not have NEW standard retractors so i believe that any BW 3.5
     (SEM_BPS) retractor documentation/help is still good for BI 7.0 (please confirm !!!)
2-     Did somebody ever used IP (or recommend) in a Demand Management scenario. (Sales forecasts being retracted in the either std ECC S&OP or DM) ?
3- Looking for good documentation on available(If any) standard forecast models in IP (like some available in APO or other commercial planning tool !!).
4-     Is there std retractor available (excluding CO_PA) or such thing as generic retractor definition tool ?. I did look in the SPRO (ECC) side
     and found some "data transfer from BW " configuration but most of these were CO_PA related ??
     I am looking here for the smoothest way to build forecast model in IP and send back forecast data to ECC.
     Let s say:     Want to replace STD LIS based - Flexible planning process by IP !!!
      (I can probably execute a query in a planning scenario that could
     generate an output file (XLS) and feed S&OP or DM (Std functionality in SAP R/3 or ECC) or
     develop and BW-APD scenario to generate the XLS.

We used two methods.
1-retract sales plan quantities from BW to R3 COPA with standart retract functions. Then COPA send them to SOP : Transaction KE1E.
2-We created a Openhub in BW and collected sales plan quantities in a openhub table. This table is read by a program which is triggered in R3. This program selects data from BW table and inserts to R3 S076 table. S076 table stores SOP data and can be filled by a program.

Integrated Excel In CO Plannin -Error

Hi,
while configuring the Integrated exccel file description in KP34,it is giving the error A later upload is not possible wit this layout.
Diagnosis
The layout can not be used for an upload.This can be caused by one of the following situations.
The layout does not contain a data field is ready for input
The layout has a lead column that only contains the text for the characterstics value and not the characterstic values itself
The layout contains formulas
The layout has a complex lead column and contains empty lines
please help me in solving this issue.

Integrated Budget in controlling

Dear Guys,
My Client required integrated budget in Controlling. I will explain the scenario
1. They are preparing Sales Plan by Marketing People.
2. Based upon sales plan they verifying there capacity and requirement of material cost.
3. Costing depot arriving material cost based upon the last purchase.
4. finally costing depot adding O/H and arriving their operating profit.
Right now they are following in Excel Sheet now they are asking in SAP thru CO Module.
Any one have idea about this , If you have any material regarding this pls forward to me.

Transfering Planned activity requirements for production

HI
any idea how to smoothen the process of transfering planing quantites from CO-PA trough PP (long term planning, demand managment) to activities.
Now we have to transfer quantities to SOP, than to DM, than to LTP wich is quite complicated.
We are opting for a Z program that will fill DM (tc MD61) directly from CO-PA tables.

we fill the Demand Management from COPA tables with a "Z" report which calls functions BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_CREATE or BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_CHANGE
depending on wheter a requirement allready exists or not
