Transfer of req

Dear Friends
Pls help me in understanding the purpose of transfer of requirements, what is transfer order and how to create it
regards
John

transfer order is a order to transfer the material from one warehouse to other.
if there are 2 warehouses for a company then the 1st warehouse cannot sell the material to ohter warehouse bcoz they are part of one company therefore transfer order is created. this helps in tracking the material movement.
even in one warehouse there may be a seperate division which deals with customer requirement and material has to be transfered to this division first and then this division will send the material to the customer.

  • IDOC or Standard prg to transfer Purchase req from APO to SNC

    Hi Experts,
could you pls tell me whether any IDOC or standard program is available to transfer the Purchase requisition from APO to SNC.
    thanks in advance.

    Hi,
You can use RSMIPROACT / RSMIPROACT2 report to send Purchase Requistion.
With RSMIPROACT2, you can also use XML message (ProductActivityNotification) to send the data to SNC.
PROACT (IDOC) needs to be configured for the logical system (your SCM system) in WE20 for this report to work through IDOC.

  • Two Delivery dates in Sale Order against one item

    Dear All
I need two delivery dates in sale order. one is default at the time of creation sale order. second i need actual delivery date which will be confirmed by production planning department after analysis the order whether material can be ready on that delivery date or it need to change. Actual delivery date may vary from original delivery date and both need to preserve in system. kindly provide solution. best regards.
    Manjit

You need to select the Availability & Transfer of Req. check box in Schedule Line Configuration. It will transfer the req. to PP.So while creating the sale order , schedule Lines will be confirmed as per the Available Stock.
System will give you the Default Delivery Date as the Date added after Lead Time in days in the Configuration.Else system will give the Current Date.
    Best regards,
    Ankur

  • Delivery block in the schedule lines.

    Hi,
Mine is a MTO scenario. I am using planning strategy 50. So a planned order ---> production order will be created against MRP run  against each sales order.
When i am placing a delivery block at the header the system is working fine. Its deleting the planned order(converted production order).
when I am placing a delivery block at the schedulle line its not working fine. its not deleting the underlined planned order or production order.
what configuration should I do to make this work.......

    Hi,
Look at the help (press F1) on  the field confirmation block at SPRO-> Sales and Distribution ->Basic functions ->Availability check and Transfer of Requirements ->Tranfer of Requirements -> Block quantity confirmation in delivery blocks ->Reasons for and Scope of Delivery Blocks: Transfer of Req. blocks.
It looks applying delivery block at schdule line level will not delete the passed requirements. This is standard SAP behavior. If you want to change this nature, then you may need to use an User-exit.
    Following is description given for the field confirmation block;
    Confirmation block
Indicates whether the system, in addition to blocking delivery, also blocks the confirmation of order quantities after an availability check during sales order processing.
    Example
You may want to block confirmation of sales orders where the creditworthiness of the customer is in question. In this case, you set the confirmation block for the delivery block that relates to credit problems. During sales order entry, when you enter a delivery block because of credit problems, the system, after you save the order, does not confirm any quantities for delivery. In this way, the goods remain available for other customers.
    Note
If, before you save a sales order, you look at the schedule line overview, you can see what the system would confirm, if the block were not set. However, as soon as you save the sales order, the confirmed quantities are automatically reset to zero.
    Dependencies
If you enter the delivery block at header level, the system transfers the desired delivery quantity for all schedule lines in the requirement. The confirmed quantity is deleted. This function is not available when you enter the delivery block at schedule line level.

  • Delivery block in sales order and requirements md04

Hello and good morning to all,
    we have the following scenario:
From our customer we received some sales order via EDI. "XI"/"SAP" created the standard sales order TA with delivery block Z1 ( header ) - all things are blocked.
The problem is, for the sales orders with delivery block Z1 we have also requirements in md04.
We have also set Reasons for and Scope of Deliv.Blocks: Transfer of Req.Block
How we can block / stop the requirements in md04 for sales orders with delivery block?
    Thanks for your help!
    Best regards
    Petra Schober

I dont think with Standard Customization you can achieve this with Delivery blocks. As you aware, with delivery blocks you can just stop the confirmation ,pick, pack & GI. but the TOR.
Even if you set the Delivery block "01- Credit limit', then system re-set confirm qtty as "Zero". But still order requirements will pass to MD04 ( assumption , Block is temparory, anytime it can be released, but if requirement is not transferred for planning, then its difficult for the planner to make the requirement available on specified time) .
Only "reason for rejection" will restrict to not to transfer to MD04. So try to explore the functionality of "Reason for rejection" & apply the same with "Delivery Blocks". But you may need enahancement to achieve this.

  • Block MRP for Sale order

    HI friends,
    My client has following requirement.
we are using MTO scenario.after creation of sale order these SO is checked by senior sale manager then he approved the sales order after that it is possible to start run MRP.How I can achieve this ?
    REgards,
    Chetan.

    Dear Chetan
Please check SPRO->Sales and Distribution->Basic Functions->Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements->Transfer of Requirements->Block Quantity Confirmation In Delivery Blocks
There in second selection Reasons for and Scope of Deliv.Blocks: Transfer of Req.Block
Where you can put confirmation block for particular delevery block.
    It says
Block Quantity Confirmation In Delivery Blocks
When requirements are transferred to MRP, the confirmed quantity is also  reserved for confirmed sales documents. If a transaction is blocked for delivery, the required stock will be blocked so it cannot be used elsewhere. To prevent this, you can block the transfer of requirements for a delivery block in this step.
In this case, the ordered quantity will still be transferred to MRP as a     requirement but the quantity will not be reserved. This is apparent in     the document when no confirmed quantities are available after saving
When the block is removed, the system automatically carries out an availability check.
So in sales order you can have deliery block either in VOV8, it can also be enterd in VA02 by edit->Fast Change-> Delivery block. and along with Confirmation check box requirements will not be transferred
Please check and confirm it is as per your requirement?
    Regards

  • Scope of ATP check (sales forecast)

    Hi gurus,
I want to know whether the info from sales forecast can be take into account by using standard ATP check function?
    thanks.

    hi,
    Task
       Transaction
    MC21- Created infostructure S501
    MC25- Maintain update rule 0001 for S501
    OMO1 - Activate update for S501
OVRP - Assign update group at item level for 1290
OVRO - Assign update group at header level for 1290
MC7F- Set planning parameters for info structure S501
    MC8A - Create planning type for S501
    OV1Z - Create product allocation procedure PLANT_MATERIAL
SPRO - Define object PROD_ALL for poduct allocation. - Config path: Spro>S&D>Basic functions>Avalability check and transfer of req>availbility check> Availablity check against product allocation>Define object
OV3Z - Specify Hierarchy for product allocation for PLANT_MATERIAL
SPRO -Define consumption periods for info structure S501-Config path: Spro>S&D>Basic functions>Avalability check and transfer of req>availbility check> Availablity check against product allocation>Define consumption periods.
OV4Z - Define control for product allocation procedure PLANT_MATERIAL
MC61 -Create planning hierarchy for plant and material
SPRO-Assigned update group 1 to order type
    BF11 -Active CRM APO field
steps 1 : create a sales info system : this sis will have the following fields 1. incoming order qty. 2. Product allocation qty. 3. open order qty.
step 2 : the user will have excel sheet which will have authentications , where the user will enter the qty.
step 3: a program is written to convert the excel quantities to text file ie txt file,
step 4 : upload the text file quantity to the sales information system. you have to make a transaction code to upload. in MC95 transaction code.
step5. before doing this we need to have material  hierarchy, and pplanning type should be maintained for every material in basic data 1 product allocation field.
please try to understand and then let me know
    thanks

  • Special procurement type- STPO

    Hi all,
For a material in plant 'X', I have maintained special procurement type , 40 - stock transfer from plant 'Y'.
with procurement type- F, Spl. Pro. type- U, and in have mentioned the plant 'Y'.
But when i create a PIR for the material in plant X it triggers pur.req in plant X not an stock transfer order. (it also triggers release order for stock transfer purchase req).
I need planned orders to be triggerd.
What is the way to trigger STPO during MRP.
    Thanks,
    JK

    Hi,
In std , this is the flow of stock transfer with spk 40.
    After MRP run ,
1.You will get PReq (Stock Transport Req) for the component in Plant X and PreqRel (Release order for stock transp req)
for the same component in plant Y.
    2. Now , you convert the stock transport req into Stock transport order ie PR to PO in Plant X, by a double click on the element in MD04. With this stock transport order , material is procured from Plant Y.
    3. At the same time in Plant Y , the release order (PReqRel) is also converted to a Purchase order (ConRel).
    4. With reference to this PO , do a GI in MIGO with 351 Movmt type (Transfer posting to stock in transit) in Plant Y.
After this you can see the issued Qty in MB5T.
5.Now in Plant X , take a GR with reference to the PO ( PO no will be same in both plants) with 101 movmt type. stock will be raised.
    Hope this is clear.
If you want planned orders in Plant X , then in MRP initial screen - Create Pur Req indicator -  put 3- Planned orders and run.
Now you convert Planned orders to PR and then PO.
If you want Planned order in Plant Y , its not possible.based on this Stock transport order (PO) only , Planned orders will be generated for production.(if stock is not available)
pls get back for further clarifications...............
    Regards,
    Sheik

    Hi Raj,
This could happen in below scenario:
4 Employees has submited some request, which are supposed to be sent to same manager for approval. And all are executed at same time. then this table will be locked to transfer first req to that manager inbox at the same time 2nd also gets trigger and try to lock the same table for same person which is already locked.
To analyze your case further, check the ST22 and SM21 for the exact time when the proble has occured and you will get a clue from there regarding the issue.
Hope this will help you !!!

  • Plan driven procuremnt

    Hi,
"Plan Driven Procurement" transfers Purchase requisitions created in the backend system(ERP) to SRM and subsequent processing takes place.
Does the plan driven scenario also transfer Pur Req for services to the SRM system?
The table V_T160EX allows to make settings only for material groups to be transferred to the SRM system.
    Regards,
    Vignesh

    Hi  Vignesh,
In Plan drive procurement  - for direct material  external requirements can be transferrred from ECC 6.0
thro' P.R (or) Thro' MRP .For this only profile is created in the table : V_T160EX for Material Group.
Purchase requistion for service is not taken .
You can do one thing if you are regularly using the same services -better allot one material number and then you can transfer the requirment.
    Regards
    G.Ganesh Kumar

  • Make to stock Problem

    Dear All,
I am using purely MTS scenario with strategy group 10 and I have maintained accordingly availability check settings & also maintained in SO SLCa as CN ( No Planning) & Req type as KSL. But still system is considering sales requirements in planning while MRP run which is not required for MTS planning.
Kindly share your inputs in the same where the problem can be?
    Regards,
    Tejas

    Dear,
    Pls check
1.PIR type is LSF at md62
    2. Sale order requirement type =KSL at procurement tab of sale order in VA02.
    3. Spro> Production> Production planning> Demand management > Planned independent req> define strategy 10 check tick mark for
    Availability check, Req transfer,
Ind req reduction. and for KSL No MRP = 1.Requirement not planned, but displayed
Aslo check the strategy group 10 any second startegy is there?

  • "Transport zone is not defined for country US"  error during sourcing

    Hi Friends,
I have an issue that is happening when I transfer purchase reqs from ECC to SRM sourcing. We are on ECC 6.0 and SRM 5.5.
when there is a transport zone defined for a storage location for a certain plant, then transfer of that purchase req does transfer to SRM SOCO. I get a error "Transport zone MXXXXXX is not defined for country US".
DNL_CUST_BASIS3, Prod0, Prod1 have been replicated from ECC to SRM. It works if there is no Transport zone defined for a storage location.
SRM Org structure has Location and Storage locations defined that has Transport Zone and exists in ECC.
This is stopping me from moving forward with proper testing. Please advise or suggest anyresolution.
    Thanks all
    Viktor P

    Dear Muthu,
Thanks for the reply. There is another Address spro setting in SRM - Address Management where Transport zones can be nmaintained. I have not tried this Tcode as I do not have authorization.
    Thanks
    Viktor

  • GOODS RECEIPT IN RETURNS PROCESS

when ever i am doing goods receipt for customer returns in returns & repair process i am getting a message "special stock E not supported"
please give me a solution as early as possible.
    regards,
    Rajesh Kumar Raju.G

    Do the following
    Check the following:
SPRO > SD > Basic Functions > Availability Check & Transfer of Reqs > Transfer of Requirements > Determination of Requirements Using Transaction.
Against, your returns item category (i.e. REN) - please check if you have a '2' in the field marked 'Q' (Origin of Requirement Type).
As to the the special stock indicator for your item category in view V_TVAP... just check that... what movement type your are using when you sale the goods...
Check entries in T156X tables and make an entry for movement type 651 without E.
Try these and hopefully this should fix your probelm.

  • Credit block and Availability Check

    Hi,
As per standard behavior when there is credit block in sales order, system does not confirm the quantities when the sales order is saved even though receipt elements are available during availability check.
Is there any way to confirm the quantities even though sales order is into credit block.
    Regards,
    RS

    Hello,
In requirement like yours we can Confirm the Quantities & insert a Delivery Block. To do this follow as below:
IMG - Sales and Distribution - Basic Functions - Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements - Transfer of Requirements - Block Quantity Confirmation In Delivery Blocks - Deliveries: Blocking Reasons/Criteria -
Here for Delivery Block 01 - Credit LImit - There will be a tick mark in Confirmation block (Conf) Box. Remove this tick mark & then system will Confirm the Stock inspite of Credit Block.
    These block are defined here:
IMG - Sales and Distribution - Basic Functions - Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements - Transfer of Requirements - Block Quantity Confirmation In Delivery Blocks - Reasons for and Scope of Deliv.Blocks: Transfer of Req.Block
    Hope this helps,
