Transfer of Stock from Quality Insp. to Unrestricted

Hi SAP-PP/QM Experts,
I am doing complete inspection with UD for a particular inspection lot but my stock in Quality Inspection is not transfer to Unrestricted Used stock.I also tried Movt.Type 321 thereafter the stock can't moved.Pl.suggest me the usefull solutions.Helpfull solution will be awarded.

There is a tick mark in post to inspection stock indicator thereafter inspection lot tab in qa32 or qa11 is not activated.
Secondly, this is a stock item.
Thirdly, No PS module is implemented in my client
I think the user has posted the stock through MB1C with Movt.Type 503 into quality stock.At the time of this posting the 05 inspection type is not activated in QM view of Material Master thatswhy system does not created any inspection lot for this.
After some days,with out stock posting from inspection stock to unrestricted stock,he has activated 05 inspection stock for the first time.
Pl.suggest any possible solution .

kindly help me i am having problems doing transfer posting (mb1b) using movement type 321. because in my stock overview (mmbe) thera are stocks in Quality Inspection, i want that to be trasfered in Unrestricted Stock. that's why i execute transfer posting but there is an error occured doing it so. the error is "change the inspection stock of material 1078 in QM only". how could i make this stocks transfer to unrestricted?
please advise me the correct way to settled this.

I am very thankful for all of you contributing to this thread of mine hope in some other time you can work it out with me again I already done all this resolutions you have mention and I also know that is all the right wya to solve this issue but i dont see my problem exists on the configuration in material tpye allocation because in our business sample the FERTin standard SAP but with us it is customized name, have different code it was not define in TLtype in material allocation for quality inspection (Q), now i know what to do to call our admin to authorized my config there.

Problem in BAPI for stock posting from quality inspection to unrestricted usage

I am using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE for stock posting from quality inspection to unrestricted usage Stock against quality inspection lot(not by MB1B) using mvt type 321.The material doc gets created by the BAPI,but actual stock posting is not taking place ie.the stock doesn’t get reflected in QA33/32 and QA11 also .Can any one suggest what must be wrong?The inputs given are as follows:
GOODSMVT_HEADER:
PSTNG_DATE =30/07/2014, DOC_DATE = 30/07/2014, REF_DOC_NO = INSP LOT NO.
GOODSMVT_CODE:
GM_CODE: ‘04’ .
GOODSMVT_ITEM:
MATERIAL = MATERIAL NO
PLANT = PLANTCODE
STGE_LOC = ‘WIP’
BATCH = BATCHNO
MOVE_TYPE = ‘321’
ENTRY_QNT = 100
ENTRY_UOM = ‘EA’
ORDERID = Prd ord no.
After executing this I used BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT also. I am able to see the posted qty in MMBE,but it is not reflecting in QA11/33/32.

Thanks for the reply. Even after using FM QAVE_PROCESS_AUTO_UD,when i execute
BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, the same thing is happening.I am unable to see the stock deducted in QA33.
Is there any input in the goods mvt bapi where we can provide inspection lot no since i believe that the goods mvt has to get connected with the inspection lot.

Issue in WM enabled with HU (Transfer of stock frm Quality to Unrestricted)

We've a scenario in such a way of both WM with HU engagged together.
Transfer of a Material from Quality to unrestricted stock type using transfer posting.
1. in MB1B using mvt 321, stock of Matl A with qty 20 has been transferd from Quality to unrestricted.
2. Due to HU mapped, an OBD for posting change had been created.
3. wrt OBD, matl get packed,(as per packing instruction) which is identified with the HU no.
4. Subsequently a TO had been created and confirmed.
as of this stage the stock view in IM & WM is as follows:
IM
Unres   -
    nil
Quality ---      20
Due to effect of PCN, TO has been created to transfer the stock catogry within the same bin
WM
Bin 1 (Q)    20      ---            922 (Q)       20
922          20     ---           Bin 1            20
5. Then as per the process of completion PGI has to occur so as to nullifying the the -ve stock in 922 storage type
so the stock levels will be
IM
Unres --- 20
Quality --- nil
WM
Bin 1              20
Issue case :
A mannual TO has been created moving the stock from Bin 1 to 922 , without doing step 5 (i.e w/o completion of PGI).
This lead my stock figs as
IM
Unres    -
nil
Quality -
20
WM
922(Q)              20
This also causes storage unit status as " To be Picked". leads to stuck up to proceed further.
We also tried to do mannual TO to transfer the stock from 922 to BIn 1. Due to unavailabilty of the stock system throws error as -ve stock is not possible for 922 Storage type..
Seeking experts to help out this issue if possibly w/o any customising settings.

How to transfer stock from sample usage to unrestricted use

Dear sir
how to transfer stock from sample usage to unrestricted use

I suppose user has accidently posted quantity to sample usage?
Do you see material document with movement type 333 for this material?
You can search material document list using MB51 transaction
or If you know the inspection lot, You can list material documents list from inspection lot.
If you can find the material document number -->Use MBST transaction to reverse the movement
If you can not find material document --> use Mb1C transaction use movement type 561.
In either case stock can not be return to same inspection lot. You can activate another inspection lot using inspection type 05 if needed.

QA11-Quantity pending to be posted from quality status to unrestricted use

Hi Experts!!
In usage decision process we can select the "code valuation" as Approved to transfer automatically the total quantity from status quality to unrestricted use. But in our system, a small quantity of the total quantity does not is being transferred. eg: We have the inspection lot with 76 pc... we should select the code valuation "Approved" and save. After this, 74 pc are transferred from quality status to unrestricted use. However, 2 pc are kept in quality status.
Could you help me with this issue?

Got the solution for the same. I think you have activated in selected set for the codes "Consider Long-Term Characteristics for Stock Proposal". This is why the stock is remaining in quality
QS51 > selected set > code group > codes > long term inspection > maintain do not consider
This will solve the issue

Is there any transaction code for quantity released from quality to unrestricted use(stock)?
Or is there any report for that?
My client requires a report on this.

Give the Movement type as 321 Transfer posting stock in quality inspection - unrestricted-use stock
The quantity is transferred from stock in quality inspection into unrestricted-use stock. Here you can post the quantity to another storage location.
You cannot use this movement type for QM-managed materials since transfer posting for these materials takes place via the usage decision.
and also 322 for reversal of 321
If you want to transfer stock from Quality to Unrestricted then go to MB1B and do transfer using movement type 321

It looks like the status you mentioned are of inspection lot.
CRTD mean created status of inspection lot.
CHCR means characterstics required. in your case the the material master inspection view says characterstics required however your inspection plan does not have any cahracterstics.
assign the characterstics to inspection plan & both the status of inspection lot will change. you will be then able to process the inspection lot to move the stock from quality to unrestricted.

Remove stock from Quality Inspection

Dear All,
In material master by mistak quality inspection flag was active in packing material with 01 inspection type.
When we received material it goes for quality inspection after MIGO. So in MMBE it shows in Quality Inspection.
Now the Plant in which MIGO was prepared has no quality related data maintained.
We tried to reverese MIGO document but system not allowing to do as srock is in Quality inspection.
Is there any way to reverse the MIGO or moving stock from quality to unrestricted?

Did you identify the original material document and then try MBST transaction to cancel the document?
When you use the term "reverse" it sound like you are trying to do a 102 against the 101. You can't reverse the transaction, you have to use MBST to cancel the transaction.
Otherwise you have to set up enough QM data to process the lot.

Transfer Consignment Stock from one customer to Another

Hi,
I want to transfer consignment stock from one customer to another. How can I do this? The other data are the same: material, plant only the customer change. Example:
1 - Material: "A", quantity: 10 UN, plant: 0101 in customer: "ABC" now I want to transfer this material: "A" from customer "ABC" to customer "BCA".

First transfer it to Unrestricted stock and then transfer it customer....
this is because, you can't trasfer because its not your stock till you consume out of it....
till that time its vendor stock only...and you have no right to trasfer from consignment to customer....

Batch from quality inspection to unrestricted use.

Hi everybody
Someone can help me with the following problem?
I made a good receipt for order with a movement type 101. We are using the QM module, then with the movement type 101 an inspection lot is generated, consequently the amount entered is place in quality inspection. For any reason the inspection lot was not generated or this was canceled. My problem is that, now the amount entered is in quality inspection and there is not a lot inspection to move the amount from quality inspection to unrestricted use.
I tried use a movement type 102 (transaction MB31) but the system send the message that the movement must be done only with QM transaction. The same message was sent when I tried to cancel the material document (MBST).
Someone know how I can create an inspection lot or how I can move the amount from quality inspection to unrestricted use?

if you create an inspection lot manually you cannot able to post the stock ( since a manual inpsection lot is not stock relevant) better thing is try to figure out why inspection lot is not genereated and solve it
i think if the inspection lot is not generated it will show some message during MIGO itself.try to find the inspection lot using QA32 and specify the material and select Select all inspection lot

Error while posting stock from quality to return delivery

Hi ,
I am working in decentralized warehouse. I am posting stock from quality to return delivery in t code QA32. The following is the error message i am getting . i have also checked the movement type settings they are fine for 553.
"Posting only to free or blocked stock due to missing goods receipt".
Please let me know if i am missing any thing in config......

Hi Ilyas,
Can you check again the movement type? For return delivery movement type 122 is used and 553 is for GI scrapping from QI. You can check it in SPRO>QM>QI>Inspection lot completion> Define inventory postings.

Movement type for transfer of stock from Stock-in-transit to Vendor

Hello,
Is there any movement type for transfer of stock from Stock-in-transit to Vendor.
For internal transfer from Plant to Plant we follow Purchase Requisition -> Stock Transfer Order (PO Modified) -> Delivery (VL04) -> MIGO (Goods Receipt against Delivery) method.
The problem arises when the actual delivery quantity is less then what is entered in the system (due to clerical error). That is, physically less quantity were dispatched and received at the receiving plant. Now the balance quantity is lying as stock-in-transit. To clear it we are receiving the material and using transfer posting for plant to plant transfer. Though physically there is no transfer of goods. Now we do not want to receive the material instead we want it to transfer from stock in transit to the supplying plant. Is it possible ?

Hi Ashish,
When You issue the stock, the accounting document is posted . There is no accounting entires when you do Goods receipt at receving plant . In case , we are developing to make it happen , I feel it may have impact on the Material Valuation aspects .
Hence, I feel it is better to adopt any of the following 2 options.
1) Cancellation of the entire delivery and make new delivery or 2) Receive the entire qty at the receiving plant and decide what you want to do with the unavl qty . For example in your case of loss of material due to accident , you can scrap the material in the receving plant itself or return the material back to the sending plant.

which insp type is activated...03 0r 04
if it is 03 then you need to perform the GR
if it is 04 you need to goto QA32 and make UD and do the stock posting from that manu.
