Transfer OM (HR) to E-Recruitment

Hi
I have successfully set the transfer of O, C, S to the e-recruitment system (standalone). There is a config step "Set Up Integration with SAP Organizational Management". It is stated that I can specify what data is to be synchronized in the context of the integration between Organizational Management and E-Recruiting via the table T77RCF_OIUNIT.
What does this config do? I have tried checking some of the items but did not noticed anything different. Anyone has done this config step before? Thanks.
Regards
Stan

Hi Kaustuv
I was referring to the config step under SAP E-Recruiting > TEchnical Settings > SAP ERP CC Integration > Set up Integration with SAP OM. The step you have mentioned is turning on of the vacancy integration switch PPVAC PPVAC in table T77SO. I believe this is only for the Recruitment module. Pls correct me if i'm wrong, thanks.

  • Qualification Catalog transfer from HR to E-Recruiting

    Hi Gurus,
We have a standalone E-Recruiting system. The qualifications catalog is maintained in HR. How do I transfer the catalog from HR to E-Recruiting? ALE? If ALE I assume a batch job needs to run periodically to keep the catalogs in sync.
    Thanks,
    Garth

    Hi Garth,
if you really like to transfer qualifications, ALE is an option. But ensure you do not forget to transfer the information connected to a qualification catalog. For example you will have to transfer the scales you used. This can be done using transports but keep in mind someone might have created a scale ín e-recruiting e.g. for candidate ranking so check that there is no id collission.
If you want to use your hr qualification catalog you also have to be aware of the restrictions of the qualification catalog used in e-recruiting. E-recruiting qualification catalogs must have exactly 2 levels QKs having Q objects. More structured qualification catalogs ften found in HR coe with QKs including other QKs are not supported. To work around here you could use the "restricting view on qual catalog" function found in e-recruiting customizing. This is also helpful if you have included internal qualifications you want to hide from the application wizard.
    Kind Regards

  • Help for data transfer from HCM to E-recruiting

    Hello,
I have to set up integration of our e-recruiting system with SAP Organizational Management in HCM (we configured e-recruiting on a separate instance).
As I am novice in the used technologies (RFC and ALE), I ask for your help. Points will be given for everyone who give me some help.
<b>The first step is to create an RFC connection</b>.
I am in transaction sm59 in the HCM system in order to create the RFC connection. Which kind of RFC connection I have to create? (ABAP connection, Internet  connection, Logical connection, TCP/IP connection or connection via abap driver ?)
Thanks a lot for your help.

  • Data transfer from E-recruitment to PA

    Dear All,
we are Implementing E-recruitment. while transferinf the data from E-recruitment to Personnel administraion, I am getting the error, No data available from the partner system table T752F). We are using the same server for E-rec and PA.
While doing the data transfer activity in E-recruitment i m getting succfulll. In R/3 while going to the Tcode PA48 i m getting the error.
    Please help me on this.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Revathi.

An integrated hiring (data transfer) scenario with SAP e-recruitment
and R/3 starts with creating a "Data Transfer for New Employees"
activity within e-recruiting for the candidate selected to be hired.
Data from e-recruitment is transferred to the target HR (via an RFC
call) and stored there in a holding table (T572F) for processing
by an appropriate action.  Within the HR system, execute transaction
PA48 to access the holding table.  Select the candidate you want to
process and then click the "Hire" button, and continue with the
    appropriate action.
This message occurs, if you execute PA42 or PA48, in order to perform
the personnel action RA (Integration with Recruitment in Partner
Systems) and no data exists on the R/3  or external system.
You will find all the relevant information in the IMG documents
    available. Please check;

    Dear Experts,
is it Possible to transfer Applicants attachments along with Applicant Data to PA Employee master when transferring applicant master data to Employee Master data.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Recruitment and PA integration allows you to transfer only the data from recruitment modules, not from various attachments.  Speak to a technical consultant and for transferring the attachments even in a different way.

  • E-Recruiting Employee Searches (Assigning an employee to a support group)

    Hello experts,
I have run into a situation where when attempting to search for an employee to assign to a support team using their first and last name nothing returns.  However if I try to search for them using their personnel number they come up just fine.  NOTE: This is only happening with this employee.
Any idea why this may be happening?  We are on 6.0 sp10 using BSP.  We also have E-Recruiting seperate from our SAP HR system and are using ALE to transfer data over to E-Recruiting.
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks!

    Hello Ryan,
the search for positions in the requisition maintanence was changed quite a while ago. Even SAP finally agreed that if you start the hiring process for a new position open in 3 months it should be possible to assign it to the requisition even if the position is currently not active. If you are not on a very old support level you should not face this problem anymore.
The possiblitiy to find the name for the employee id even if the employee is not active should be a side effect from reading the employee information for inactive candidates which are otherwise treated as external candidates. This is useful in the recruiter applications if a recruiter leaves and others keep on working with its former requisitions and activities. As far as I remember the system even shows the employee id for inactive candidates if they reapply as external candidate. Some companies like to see that they are rehiring someone others don't like it as the fear to mix such candidates with real internal ones. So SAP will probably never take position to one of both opinions and just let it as it is for bsp (I yet have not seen if the EhP4 WebDynpro recruiter solutions, so i do not know if they kept the behaviour or not).
The IS_INACTIVE flag is set if the employee is no longer active so STAT2 is no longer 3. This check is part of the ALE inbound BAdI (or better of the class which is called in the BAdI implementation). It might be possible to change the coding but I have to admit that I cannot ad hoc judge the consequences of such a change. This would need some more analysing.

  • Standard Dialog module RH_INFOTYP_1001 missing in E-Recruiting

    Hi Friends,
We have e-Recruitment on a seperate server and connected it to HR using ALE. The object transfer "O(Organizational Unit)" shows error during PFAL transfer from HR to e-Recruiting.
The problem is the standard dialog module "RH_INFOTYP_1001" does not exist when checked in SE35. When checked from PPCI also, it shows "Dialog module RH_INFOTYP_1001 does not exist".
The table T777D, however, has dialog module entry for Infotype 1001 but the Dialog module name is RH_INFOTYP_S001 which exists.
    1. What needs to be done to load the dialog module RH_INFOTYP_1001 in
        the e-Recruitment server ???
    2. Also, we have the folowing packages installed on our e-Rec server:
       SAP_OCS(SPAM/SAINT Update)
       SAP_ABA, SAP_BASIS, PI_BASIS, SAP_BW, ERECRUIT
Do we also need to apply EA-HR and SAP_HR packages ?? Why ??
    Please advice.
    Thanks,
    Shashank Shirali

    Well,
have you activated the E-Recruiting ALE Inbound processing?
    Take a look at IMG:
SAP E-Recruiting->Technical settings -> SAP ERP Central Component integration -> Sofware running on different systems -> ALE Inbound Processing
You need to activated BADI Implementations HRALE00SPLIT_INBOUND of BADI HR_INB_PROCESS_IDOC and HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC of BADI HRRCF00_DELETE_SPREL.
This is needed because PA infotypes are not existing and the PD-Object P is just defined as external object.

  • E-Recruiting: ALE Status 51 Posting Error - "Password is not long enough"

    Hi experts!
We are having problems occationally posting idocs in our nightly ALE transfer from SAP to E-Recruiting.  The error for the segment with a status 51 is "Password is not long enough (minimum length: 6 characters)".  The system is trying to post IT0105 Sty 1.
This only seems to happen when either a new user is created in our SAP system.  We are running SAP ECC 6.0 and E-Recruiting 6.0 sp10.  In both systems you are required to have a password length of at least six characters.
Users in our SAP system are needed in E-Recruiting for the purpose of identifying internal candidates.
If both systems currently require that you have a password length of at least six characters, why would we recieve this error message when attempting to post idocs?
The concern here, obviously, is that if one segment fails to post in the idoc, the entire idoc fails to post.
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks!
    Ryan

    Hello,
We are still having a problem with failing iDocs everytime we pass over IT0105 Sty 1 records from our SAP system to E-Recruiting.
Would anyone happen to know where I should start looking to troubleshoot this error message?
"Password is not long enough (minimum length: 6 characters)"
Currently both systems require that your password be at least 6 characters long, which makes this message even more perplexing.
Having a better understanding of how RBDAPP01 processes inbound IDOCS in status 64 would help.  We are using message type HRMD_ABA.  Our data filter looks like....
    Infotype: 1000
    Object Type: C, O, S
    Infotype: 1001
    Object Type: C, O, S
    Subtypes: A002, A007, A008, A012, B002, B007, B008, B012
    Infotype: 1001
    Object Type: O, S
    Subtypes: A003, B003
    Infotypes: 0000, 0001, 0002
    Object Type: P
    Infotype: 0006
    Object Type: P
    Subtype: 1
    Infotype: 0105
    Object Type: P
    Subtypes: 0001, 0010
So the question is how is IT0105 Sty 1 being processed when RBDAPP01 runs?
    Thank you for your help!

  • Change  Pointer Query

    hi all,
i am using HRMD_ABA message type and HRMD_ABA05 IDOC Type to transfer HR data to E-recruiting server..now this  does not have segments E1P0022 and E1P0023 so it does not transfer data  for infotype 0022 and 0023 to ER. So  in the  receiving side while processing Inbound  data  i have one Badi  in which i am calling RFC to  HR  system and  get data for IT 0022 and 0023 and  Update  them in relevent ER data. This is  working fine
But Now i have  activate  Change pointer data for this  HRMD_ABA message type and  it  doesn't create  change pointer  if  Infotype 0022 and 0023 values  have changed  the reason is  it  does not have  segments  to  transfer  data  as i mentioned  earlier.. Is there any way to create  change  pointer for the  this infotype   which are  not  part of this basic type....
I hope  i am clear with my question...
    Thanks  in Advance...

    ya  vinod,
the  thing  is  in my requirement i want change pointer to get triggered  if  data in IT0022 or  IT0023 is changed but since  my Idoc and message type does not have field to carry data for these infotypes...i want my change pointer get  triggered and  Idoc with data  of infotype  which it  can carry of IT0000, IT0001 etc should  get generated  so that  in receiving side my RFC inside  Badi  will fetched  changed data of IT0022 and IT0023.........

  • Transfer data from ECC to E-Recruitment

    Dear all,
We have two separate instances for E-recruitment and SAP ECC and we have some additionla data to be transffered to ECC from E-rec as an enhancement to  BSP.
The scenerios is of offer activity which we are extending and with some additional field. I need to know as how we can update this data in addition to standard data in E-rec and how we can transfer the same to ECC.
In ECC we have to automate the process of executing the PA48 to do the Hire or RE-hire using the data transffered to ECC.
Looking forward for a quick reply.
    Thanks.

    Is this a solution ???

  • Transfer of data from SAP ECC 6.0 to E-Recruitment

    Hi,
We are implementing E-recruitment . SAP ECC and E-Recruitment are running in different servers. How to transfer data from following Infotypes from SAP ECC 6.0 to E-Recruitment .
    IT0002 – Personal Data to 5102 – Candidate Information
    IT0006 – Address Data to 5110 – Address Rule
    IT0105 – Communication Data to 5110 – Address Rule
    IT0022 - Education to 5104 - Education
    IT0023 – Others/Previous Employers to 5103 - Work Experience
    IT0024 - Qualifications to 5105 - Qualifications
    Regards,
    Somi .

    Hello,
in general IT5103, 5104 and 5105 are not part of the standard distribution model. Without special customer own ALE development you will not be able to transfer these information.
Check SLG1 - application log for entries.
did you the initial data upload or did you only transfer changes?
If you did the initial data transfer be sure the user running the IDOC import has the correct rights. Be sure noone changed the usage of IT0000 STAT2 as e-recruiting expects value 3 for active employees. Furthermore be sure to be informed about the handling of hirings in future.
If you only wanted to transfer updates. PFAL is not the right way. Be sure you activated the change pointers correctly. Use RBDMIDOC. And be sure to implemet the latest Notes. There had been an error that changes were only processed in e-recruiting if at least IT0000, 0001 and 0002 were changed which resulted in problems when only IT 0006 was updated. In this case the update was not transfered to e-recruiting.

  • ALE data transfer in E-recruiting

    hi All,
We are Implementing E-recruitment in HCM.
                I have following 2 requirements
Case 1). Distribute data of infotypes 0000,0001,0002,0006,0022,0023,,0024,1000 and 1001 into ER(E-recruiting) from my HCM (ECC) system. This i have achieved using message type HRMD_A and setting up ALE as per standard guidelines.
Case 2) i have to transfer Candidate data which gets created in E-recruitment server back into HCM(ECC) server(reverse of case 1) and stored them in infotypes 0000,0001,0002,0006,0022,0023 and 0024. How this can be achieved ??
is there any standard way i mean IMG configuration or ALE setup to transfer this data back into HCM (ESS)  server?? or any BAdis or BAPIss??
kindly suggest me some solution if anyone  of you have encountered the same situation in past. The final solution i m thinking is of creating custom basic IDOC type, message type and custom programs  for inbound and outbound processing but before  doing this i just  wan to have a confirmation that there is no standard way of doing this...
    Thanks in advance..

    Hi.
There is a standard  activity in e-Recruiting  "Data Transfer for New Employee"  which transfer the Candidate data from e-Recruiting to HCM system in temprary table T752F. when  you hire this candidate from PA48 all transfer data will get stored in respective Infotype of SAP HCM system..
    Thanks,

  • Errors in ALE data transfer to E-Recruiting.

    Hello,
I need help with my ALE for E-Recruiting.
We are on E-Rec 604 with seperated standlone e-rec system.
We have set up ALE Data transfer for object type P from ECC QA to E-Rec QA system but unfortunately the I-Doc is always gettign posted with status 52.
    Those are the messages:
Object 01 ,P ,01012021 does not exist: infotype 0105 cannot be created
Object 01 ,P ,01012021 does not exist: infotype 0009 cannot be created
Object 01 ,P ,01012021 does not exist: infotype 0006 cannot be created
    Diagnosis:
You have tried to create infotype 0105 for plan version 01,object type P,object ID 01012021. However, the object does not exist.
PA objects exist if infotypes 0000, 0001, and 0003 have been created.
PB objects exist if infotypes 4000, 0001, and 0002 have been created.
PD objects exist if infotype 1000 has been created.
I followed the setting of "standalone" attachment to note 997181:
    HRSYNC_P                                    CONV_HR_DATA_TO_EREC (active as of Release 604)
    HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC             HRRCF00_INBD_NEWMOD (active as of Release 604)
    HRALE00SPLIT_INBOUND            HR_INB_PROCESS_IDOC (inactive as of Release 604)
HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC             HRRCF00_DELETE_SPREL (inactive as of Release
    604)
    HRALE00SPLIT_INBOUND            HR_INB_PROCESS_IDOC (active up to Release 603)
    HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC             HRRCF00_DELETE_SPREL (active up to Release 603)
So we have activated only the CONV_HR_DATA_TO_EREC and HRRCF00_INBD_NEWMOD because we are on 604.
    We have distributed Infotypes 0000, 0001, 0002, 0105 (Subtypes 0001 and 0010), 0006, and 0009 and I have to distribute the P - CP relation with 1001 A209.
    Somebody could help me please?.
