Transfer outlook calendar to ipad

Could someone explain how to transfer and sync my outlook calensar and contacts to my ipad2? Thank you.

It is going to be very difficult as Outlook has so few options for export. Can you export the Outlook calendar to a .pst file (just deselect the other modules to get the calendar only)
Or, take the .csv option and use this link to convert the .csv to a .ics file. Make sure to input the correct time zone data.

  • Is it possible to transfer outlook Calendar and Contacts across to iCal and Address Book

I am a recent convert to iMac from Windows and would like to transfer my calendar and contact details to iCal and Address Book rather than manual enter them. Is this possible?

I don't have an answer for you unfortunately, however I am seeing a similar issue.  I posted a thread about this specific to Outlook 14.2.1 syncing to iCal 5.0 via OS X Lion (10.7).  Adding information on what platform(s) you are working on may be a help in getting this resolved and in addition you can watch the thread I posted if you are on the same OS X as me as I am having issues syncing from Outlook to iCal on all Mac devices.  Good luck!

  • How can we add Outlook calendars to iPads and share views

My boss and I both have iPad2's.  We would like his Outlook calendar to be viewable on both our pads.

you can get the photo url with my javascript, see my posts here:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=10539208
however, adding any html snippet widget onto photos page as you plan is a no no, because the widgets stay on top of the picture when in detail view. many tried to add paypal button in their photos page and failed, search my posts for paypalbegone.
but it can be done: http://iweb3widgets.cyclosaurus.com/PayPalBeGone/Photos.html

  • ICloud does not synchronize Outlook 2007 with ipad

I want to synchronize outlook calendar with iPad calendar. I installed ICloud on the PC, choosed calendar for synchronizing, allowed iPad to synchronize with iCloud and started. The first synchronization worked. Both calendars on Outlook and iPad looked the same. Now I thought, that any new thing on each of the calendars would be pushed immediately to the other calendar. This does not work. Is there a time limit or did I need to make some more changes?

Here's the solution provided by Risco in the iPhone 3GS forum. It's the only one that I found that works for exactly the same problem on both the iPhone 3GS and the iPad. I might add that I was also getting two other error message every time I connected to iTunes ("Mobile Sync stopped working," and "Yahoo Go Sync stopped working").
    Here it is (for Windows):
Go to Program Files ( x86 if using 64 bit )
    Open Common Files
    Open Apple
    Open Apple Application Support
    Copy the Sqlite3.dll
    Go to the windows folder
Open system32 if on 32bit, or syswow64 if on 64bit
    Find the sqlite3.dll
Rename it to sqlite.dll.bk (if none there, go directly to Paste step below)
Paste the new one in there
Open iTunes and it should sync everything fine and no errors!

  • Hour discrepancy between Outlook calendar and icloud calendar

My Outlook calendar, iphone, ipad and icloud are set to the same time zone and time zone support is ON. But when I create an appointment on outlook it appears +1 hour in my apple devices. When I creat an appointment in my apple devices it appears -1 hour in my outlook. Does anyone knows how to fix this?

Nothing. I just stopped using that mail account so I didn't had the need for solving this. But I got no help, sorry.

  • Major problems with iPhone 4 & iPad 2 both 5.1.1. - Outlook Calendar sync

Folks, really need some help here, being forced to revert to Blackberry Bold 9000 because of issues with Outlook Calendar sync since 5.1.1 upgrade on both my iPhone & iPad.  Our company Enterprise Active Sync server is 2003 (please don't mention upgrade - already a seperate conversation byt all costs).
email sync's fine on both devices, plus i can continue to use both iCloud accounts, and BT yahoo mail etc !
national holidays set up in Outlook calendar come across, as does some calendar items, but then falls into a resync mode with nothing staying in the device, i can also see and read calendar invites, but once accepted, they disappear !
Searching the internet suggests I'm not alone with this issue - any ideas welcome, seems not to be a problem on os 4 !!!  but A) I don't know how to regress and B) why should I ?
Many thanks in advance, please don't make me go back to a BB !!!
Finally, I've been using the devices without issue for nearly 2 years - so again it's linked to 5.1.1. upgrade !

    Hi Tim
Firstly, apologies for the slow response to your very quick reply !
    I've checked back, we're using Exchange 2007.
We've actually got a ticket open with Apple at present, so anticipate that a patch may be available.
It is still curious though that out of a 200 user community trialling our internal iPhone & iPad pilot, we only have 2 issues (mine and a colleagues), however anticipate that there will be more issues as nearly entire community is on 5.1.1.
On a second point, any ideas how one can rollback to 4.3.3 on an iPhone or iPad ?  I can't find anything that implies a self rollback without jail breaking the device ?
    Thanks again for the help.
    Marc

  • My outlook calendar is no longer syncing with the iPad calendar.  I have tried deleting and resetting up the account with no luck.

Yesterday my outlook calender events no longer are showing up in my calendar on iPad.  It is still on the list when you click on Calendar and is checkmarked.  I deleted the account in settings and reset it up and still nothing.  I have so much stuff in there I am hoping I can figure this out and not have to enter it all.  Help!

Read the User Tip that razmee209 linked for you in the post above. If nothing in there works, there May be something on your iPad that is corrupt. Backup the iPad, restore to factory settings, and them restore the backup. If that doesn't fix it, restore as new and download all of your purchased content again.

  • How can I get Outlook calendar to sync with iPhone and iPad?

I think I have tried evert known setting but syncing seems very selective.  I have googled for solutions, too.
Currently, I load an even into my Outlook calendar (and have the right boxes checked in iTunes) but I am damned if the even will transpose to either my iPhone or my iPad! My Outlook also displays the iCloud calendar too.
Is there a definitive instruction that is, effectively, a child's guide to setting up Outlook to transpose events to the Apple devices AND vice-versa?
In my iPhone and iPad, I have the iCloud sync box ticked.  In my phone calendars I have both PC and iCloud ticked.  Events show in my Outlook and Outlook iCloud but not in the &^&^*&^(*&(*)&(* iPhone or iPad.  I have had some close shaves over missing events and want to have this solved.
    Pleeeeease?
    Ron

An interesting additional symtom is that items loaded in the PC (which immedialely duplicate to the iCloud calendar on eht PC - no worries, there) do not transpose the devices (as above) but, loading an item into the phone, it goes to the PC (which is fine, too).  But not to the iPad.  Interestingly, there fewer calendar display options on the iPad than on the phone.
I talked to Apple a few months ago (after ISO 5) - mainly about the 6000 plus addresses that suddenly appeared in my Contacts - and his advice was do all contact and calendar actions on the PC.  "icloud is still faulty"
So there we are!   I must have items and reminders in my PC - it is my main work station - and need them on my devices to avoid conflicts when away from my office.

  • Is it possible to view a shared Outlook calendar in Android and/or iPad/iPhone

Is it possible to get a shared (keyword SHARED) calendar in Outlook to sync with either an android or ipad/iphone calendar? I am able to get my primary outlook calendar to sync, but not my shared calendars. I have googled this topic extensively
and from what I've seen posted on various forums, the answer is a resounding no, but I'm hoping someone here might know of a workaround!
According to Microsoft support, Active Sync on mobile devices does not support shared calendars. (as per this article:http://community.office365.com/en-us/forums/158/t/13142.aspx).
The suggested work around is to not use Active Sync and instead set up an IMAP account. However, my company does not allow IMAP connections, so that's not an option.
Another possibility is to use a 3rd party tool, such as sync2 to sync to a gmail account and in turn sync the gmail calendar to the mobile device. However, that method does not seem to work with shared calendars either.
We are currently using Exchange 2007, but if upgrading to a newer version could make syncing shared calendars to mobile devices possible, I might be able to get approval to upgrade.
Any thoughts or ideas or workarounds are welcome.
Auxiliary questions: I am new to working with Exchange. Can anyone explain why syncing shared calendars with mobile devices is so difficult? Is there something in the general design that makes it problematic? Is the issue about security or technical
    limitations or both (or neither)?
    Thank you, Rich

I am guessing this is still the case with exchange 2007..
If anyone has a work around please share

  • Why is my iPhone 4 not syncing with my outlook calendar, but my iPad will sync it successfully?

I recently downloaded iOS 5.0.1 and for some reason my outlook calendar no longer shows up in my phone but will show up on my iPad. Is this an iCloud issue? I haven't changed any of the settings recently so am unsure why it now doesn't work.

  • Issues syncing iPhone 5 and iPad mini with outlook calendars

I am having issues syncing my iPhone 5 and iPad mini with Outlook calendar.  This is a new problem since I upgraded to IOS 7.  I am now using ios 7.0.2.  I have removed air sync for calendars and that has not resolved the issue.  Nothing new on my calendar is syncing to my phone or ipad.  Any suggestions?

To use AirPlay, you need these:
iPhone 4 (or later), iPad, iPad mini, or iPod touch (4th generation or later)
For videos or photos: Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation)
For music: Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation), AirPort Express, or AirPlay-enabled speakers or receivers

  • Is there a way to sync outlook calendars with Imac, Ipad, Iphone calendars.  I am not running exchange server.

Is there a way to sync outlook calendars with Imac, Ipad, Iphone calendars?  I am not running exchange server.

    hello,
BlackBerry devices do not support ActiveSync.
you have several ways, from best to less good :
    1)
if your company has set up Outlook Web Access, you can use the BIS connection of your device to connect to the Exchange server (email + Address book) through the url of the Outlook Web Access. The OWA needs to be accessible from outside the company.
    2)
if your company has setup an external link to the exchange server (can be accessible from outside the company), you can configure your BIS directly to the Exchange server (email only if I recall correctly)
    3)
if your company allows it, on your PC you can setup your email account to automatically forward all incoming emails to a third party email (like GMail or Hotmail), and then configure BIS to connect to that email provider. You will get push email. You can then setup a reply-to: field.
    4)
use a Windows Mobile phone that has the ActiveSync feature.
