Transfer ownership and apps on iPad
My girlfriend gave me on of her iPads. We have several paid and free apps with data that I would like to transfer as well as iPad ownership to my new iTunes account. Is this possible and how would I accomplish this? Thanx....

Is is possible to log out of the new account on the iPad and log back in with the other Apple ID and re-download the apps? Will they work when I log back into the new account after downloading?
While it is possible to use more then one Apple ID on a device, much in the way you are describing, you may find it is more trouble than it is worth in the long run, particularly when it comes to downloading app updates. This will also prove to be cumbersome if you are using iCloud as the back up mechanism.

Transfer Ownership of App from Old Account to New Company Account
Hi,
I've been researching for a method to transfer ownership of an app that was published under an old company account. We've migrated to a new account and would like to transfer ownership to this newer account. The information I came across suggests that we
unpublished the app and republish it under the new account. This solution isn't desirable as it would wipe out all statistics - votes/downloads/etc.
I know that this is possible to transfer app ownership for Windows Phone Apps (by opening a ticket) - is there another solution for transferring app ownership for Windows
Store Dev Center apps?
Thanks,NO :(

How do I transfer ownership and Apple Care?
I bought my friends old iPad when he got a new one - how do I transfer ownership, etc?
There is no transfer of ownership per se.
Restore the iPad with iTunes as a new iPad if your friend did not do this prior to the sale.
The standard one year warranty and the AppleCare extended warranty remains with the device. -
How can I transfer music and apps from 1 ipod to another?
My computer crashed and my 2 sons got new ipod toches 4th gen and all of their music and apps were on that computer. Is there anyway to transfer contents from their old ipod to their new one?
If you have any iTunes Music Store purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. A paragraph on it has been added to this article: Transfer iTunes Store purchases using iPod
The transfer of content from other sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. You can also read reviews of some of them here: Wired News - Rescue Your Stranded Tunes

There is also a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows or a Mac. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available at this link: Two-way Street: Moving Music Off the iPod -
I'm getting divorced and need to start a new iTunes Acct. Can I start a new acct and then transfer existing music and apps into it even if they were purchsed in a different acct?
No.
Put it in the divorce settlement over who gets the account/purchases. -
I updated my itunes on my computer as directed. I plugged in my ipad2 to update it. I saw a message that said my ipad was being downloaded.
When all of this process was done, none of my books, apps, or music was put back on my ipad. I have no idea how to do this. Help! I am
technically a novice.have you tried to reset it? hold down the sleep and home key until the silver apple comes up. Let it restart. It's the equivalent of 'control-alt-delete' and sometimes fixes glitches.

HT201302 transfer photos and apps to new phone
so i activated my new iphone 5 today and seem to be having a problem. After i backed my old iphone 4 information to my computer i plugged in my new phone transfer all content over. The only thing that transferred were the contacts! is this normal? all of my pictures, apps, and content are not showing. I contacted apple and they basically told me to go in itunes under edit and preferences and check some boxes whih i have done. However, when i am connecting the new phone to to computer it still doesn't want to sink the content?
@Balairo, what make/model phone did you have? Some devices have a memory card that you can transfer from the old phone to insurance replacement phone. I apologize that if the screen is non functional, there is no other additional option other than connecting it to a computer to upload your pictures to a PC. I hope this information is helpful to you. ^LH

How do I transfer muisc and apps from iphone to a new PC?
Just bought a new PC and put on a copy of itunes. I was expecting itunes to download my apps and music but it hasn't.
Whats the easiest way to go about this?
Its an iphone 4 and I'm fairly average with computers.Ideally you would have backed all youe important data from your old computer ready to transfer to the new one, or run both in parallel until you were happy you didn't need the old one any more.
I'm guessing these options are no longer available.
Normally your user profile contains a Music folder which in turn holds the iTunes folder. All the important details of your library are in there, with the media below in a folder called iTunes Media. If you lose this information and then connect your device to an empty iTunes library it will want to clean it out the device and start over.
You should be able to recover the media with the tips in this post from forum regular Zevoneer but I'm not sure what the implications are for your application settings. You can probably transfer your purchases into a newly authorised library, backup the device, recover any other media using third party tools, then restore the device from the backup. That should switch the assocation of the device to the new machine but I couldn't say for sure not having personally tested the process.

What do I need to do to transfer ownership of a used iPad to my account
I was given an old iPad. I just want to be able to sync it with my ITunes. What do I need to do to transfer it over to me?
Plug it in and restore it as a new device to clear any of the previous owners stuff off it. Then sync it with your own stuff.
