The password is for your iTunes account. Not for your old iPod. Enter your Email and password will give you access to all the music you bought from iTunes. If you forget it then I dont know how to help you there guess your SOL.

I bought a new computer and when i attempted to transfer my iTunes libary to the new computer, it said there were too many users on the account. I have purchased various ipods and iPads for my wife and children, but they all have a separate iTunes account--yet ALL of their past products have been linked to my account. diesel vdub, thanks for responding, but no--it didnt give me the usual 5 authorizations message. The message given also didn't offer any link to a solution. You may have missed the point where I mentioned that I had contacted tech support and even they were unable to help me. The issue is not about how many computers were/are authorized (there are currently only three). If it had, it wouldn't have only loaded some of my libary, including songs I purchased. These would not transfer (only files loaded from my personal cd collection would have transfered) if this were the case. I realize there are a lot of dumb questions posted here, and this may turn out to be one of them. But please, read the full question before throwing out an answer that is useless because it ignored the facts.

Cloud subscriptions do not need serial numbers as far as I know, but if you mean you purchased a "permanent license" it does and it should be registered under the Adobe account that you purchased it at this link.

You have two activations to use with your Creative Cloud subscription.
So you can deactivate by choosing Help > Deactivate from a product's menu, otherwise you will have the option to deactivate when you try to activate on a third computer.

My old computer crashed so I can't connect it to my new one to transfer my songs. I plugged my ipod into the new comp before downloading itunes and I save my playlists onto it in My Music. Then I downloaded itunes and tried to transfer my music into my library. It says theres an error and the songs can't transfer. Also, the ipod's songs pop up when I click on the ipod but they're gray and I can't highlight, move, play, or acceses them in anyway. I've discovered a way to preserve my ipod songs n transfer it into my new computer. It took
me quite a while to figure it out so if it also work for u, please give credits where

Follow these steps for Windows XP users:
1) Go to "Start"
2) Go to "Control Panel" n click on it.
3) Click on "Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices"
4) Click on "Portable Media Devices", then a list of ur portable devices should pull up,
including ur ipod.
5) Click on ur ipod, then it should pull up folders named "Calendars" "Contacts" "Notes"
"iPod_Control" n "Photos"
6) Click on the "iPod_Control" folder, it should pull up several folders named "Artwork"
"Device" "iTunes" n "Music"
7) Click on the "Music" folder which would bring up several folders named "F00" "F01" "F02"
and so on and so forth.
8) All you have to do is copy n paste ALL the folders onto ur new hard drive, like ur
desktop or "My Music" folder.
9) Open up ur new itune on ur new computer, go to "file", "add folder to library", and
click on ur "My Music" folder or each "F00" folders on ur desktop.
All the songs should transfer into ur new iTune library. Hope this helps!

Every time I hook the iPod up to my new computer it wants to delete what is on the iPod and replace with the contents of the iTunes that is currently on the new computer. I don't want to do that. Getting really frustrated, I have loads of music on iTunes on my old PC, but only a small amount is saving to the computer hard drive.
I want to back up the itunes library on the old computer so I can transfer it to the new computer using my hard drive.
How can I get the rest of my music to save to my hard drive?

I've been transferring data from OSX mavericks Macbook pro to imac using airdrop (migration assistant wasn't working).
Wanted to duplicate mail from macbook so followed instructions for transferring as below

Mail transfer worked great but my new messages aren't showing the content in the view area.
I can get the new message blurb in the list but nothing in full viewing.
The com.apple.mail.plist file actually was a plist.lockfile so not sure if that made a difference
Plus, I did transfer the com.apple.mail-shared.plist as well. The older versions are on my desktop.
The account names are different from one computer to the other but they show up as read-write on new computer files. I even added an administrator with read write priveleges on those files just incase. Nada.
Any thoughts?

If you purchased all of the songs through itunes store, please follow these steps:
1. Open up Itunes and Click on Itunes Store
2. Once you're in the Itunes Store look to right side of the screen and you should see the word "purchased". Click purchased and you'll be sent to a purchase screen.
3. Click on "All Songs" and then it will show all the songs you've downloaded. From there you just hit the button that looks like a cloud with an arrow on it, and it will download all the songs all over again.
If you didn't purchase them through Itunes, then you'll have to download software that will strip the songs from your iPod. And here is a guide about how to transfer iPod classic songs to computer. Hope it helps. Feel free to email me if you need further help.
