Transfer purchased apps from one iTUNES account to another

I have purchased a few apps on an iTunes account, have set up a new account and bought apps on that. Can i transfer apps from one iTunes to another?

The Solution is that you will need to keep account A active for as long as you have those Apps...
Or you can Get Them Again using account B... But if they are Purchased Apps you will have to pay again...
Free Apps are of course Free...

No. Apps are associated with Apple ID with which they were purchased.

You can't. The apps must be purchased separately.

  • Syncing apps from one itunes account to another.

Hey guys, first forum post so go easy on me pls
The other day I decided to download some apps from my mums itunes account since I didnt have any money to pay for them myself. When it came to syncing/copying the apps from her account, it decided to delete most, if not all the apps from my own account.
I had a read around and have "authorised" both my laptop and her macbook, and the iphone registers this. However, I tried to copy some apps from my account this morning and it seems it wouldnt have been possible without deleting the ones I had copied from her account.
Is there any easy way around this syncing problem? Or will I just have to keep buying things from my own itunes accout?
    Any feedback is appreciated

Not trying to doubt you or anything but you probably did something else with the iPod such as use 2 accounts simultaneously in which case you would have to log out and in each time you needed to update

  • Transferring apps from one itunes account to another

I bought the original IPad from a family member, so it was set up with there ITunes account and all of the apps that are on it. I would like to transfer everything that is currently on the IPad over to my computer with my ITunes account, without having to reset the IPad and purchase all of the apps all over again. I need to manage my IPad through my computer and ITunes account, not the one it was originally set up under.
I have managed to do this with an IPod, so I can imagine it would be possible with an IPad.

  • Can you copy music and apps from one iTunes account to another?

My nephew got an iPod touch for Christmas and for some reason my husband decided to add it as a new device to my iTunes account and purchased games and music and put these onto the iPod.  So now he has access to my password, etc.
What I really want to do is set up a new iTunes account for my nephew, but will I be able to transfer his games and music purchased under my account onto his new account or will we lose them all?

This Apple article will walk you through changing the Apple ID -> iOS: Changing the signed-in iTunes Store account
And this one will walk you through creating a new account -> iTunes: How to set up an iTunes Store account (Apple ID)
You won't be able to transfer the apps to the new account, you'll have to purchase them again with the new account.

  • Copying apps from one itunes account to another

I have been using my moms account to buy apps for the past couple of years(as has my whole family) but im moving out and need to get my own account, will i be able to transfer my apps from her account to mine? It is on the same laptop already.

No. All store purchases remain tied to the account they were bought with. You can however authorize your new computer for the existing account and then make new purchases on a new account. However with apps from two accounts you'll need to sign in & out of each account to authorize the updates. For the moment I'm treating my account as a family account even though two of my children have left home and we all make purchases on the one account, but they have to check with me first.

  • Is there a way to transfer purchased songs from one iTunes account to a new iTunes account?

This is a bit difficult to explain so bear with me! My two little sisters, years ago, started buying music off the iTunes store. It was my account so now i have all their purchased songs and apps on my account. At the time they were too little to have thier own email so I just let them do it on mine, I didn't see any problem with it. However, now that I am on iCloud and they all have iphones, I am stuck with all their contacts, music, games, etc. I do not want their music so I am wondering if there is a way to transfer their purchased items onto a new iTunes account that I will set up for them (they are in high school now and have their own emails, etc.) I have searched online and haven't found a solution to this. Please help! I understand that only one account can have rights to a song, but I would like to transfer their purchased songs to a new account.

Purchases cannot be transferred to a new Apple ID.
You can stop receiving their info by signing out of iCloud.

  • Transfering Apps from one Itunes account to another

I bought my step-daughter an Ipod for christmas. She went to her dads house over the holidays and set up her ipod to work with his Itunes account. Then she went on a shopping spree and spent over $100 on music and apps! Problem is she lives with us and now realizes she can't sync with her computer when she is at home and also has to share any Itunes gift cards with her dad and the step-family over therre. She wants her own Itunes account but obviously doesn't want to loose her apps. I know this must have come up before in the past and I hate to ask an old question but the search feature doesn't seem to be finding any results on this. Does anyone know of a transfer service or some such that will get the apps she wants from her dad's account and transfer them to her new account?

What you can do is use one account for regular use, and the other account could only needed to be used to update applications?
In other words, make her an account and only use her fathers if you need to update an app.

  • How to transfer *some* media from one iTunes account to another?

I have two iTunes libraries - one on my MacBook Air, and one on my external drive.  Why? Because I can't hold all of my TV shows and Movies on the MBA because of the small drive. What is the best way to move selected files between the two libraries - given that you can only have one Library open, at a time?

That's kind of a strange way to things, even if it's what Apple told you to do.
    Do this.
    - Access your *local* library
    - Go to iTunes->Preferences->Advanced
    - Select "Copy Files...." and "Keep iTunes Media File Oroganized"
    - Locate the files you want on the external disk
    - Drag them into the "Library" area of your sidebar
This will put the files in your local library and copy them to your MB.
They will still be on your external hard drive. You will have to separately delete them from that library if you want to.
