Transfer Requirements in WM

hi gurus,
i am developing one web interface for material stock transfer.
i have following problems about transfer requirements.
when transfer requirement is created. what is the transaction code for it.
is it created automatically or we have to create manually?
if it is created automatically then after which process it is created.
is there any function module to create transfer requirements.
please solve these problems.

Hi Bhaskar,
The below detail might help u out.
In the Warehouse Management (WM) Benchmark, a transfer requirement (transaction LB01) is created to put three materials into stock. This transfer requirement is used to create a transfer order (LT04). Because the number of items per material in the transfer requirement exceeds the number that can be placed into one storage location, the transfer order has seven line items. The process continues to confirm this transfer order for seven items (LT12). For goods removal, these transactions are called again in the same sequence.
Dialog Steps
0. Home page online store
1. Main screen
2. Call Create transfer requirement
3. Enter header data
4. Post transfer requirement
5. Call Create transfer order
6. Create transfer order with reference to transfer requirement
7. Switch to online
8. Place item into stock
9. Place item into stock
10. Place item into stock
11. Post the data
12. Call Confirm transfer order
13. Background processing
14. Call Create transfer requirement
15. Enter data
16. Enter items
17. Call Create transfer order
18. Background processing
19. Call Confirm transfer order
20. Background processing
21. Call /nend
22. Confirm log off
One loop corresponds to 14 stock movements.

  • Transfer Requirement for Goods Receipt Item

    Hi All,
We are trying to create Transfer Order for Goods Receipt items using an ITS mobile application. We are using the function module L_TO_CREATE_TR to create Transfer Order by passing the Transfer Requirement from the Goods Receipt as an input to the function module. Our requirement is to create one Transfer Orde per Goods Receipt item. We need to create Transfer Order for the items simulatneously from different terminals.Since we have only one Transfer Requirement for the entire Goods Receipt document, we are not able to create Transfer Orders simultaneously because of the system lock (Transfer Requirement is locked).
Is it possible to create separate Transfer Rquirement for the individual items in the Goods Receipt via customizing/User exit.
Your guidance in this regard will be great help for us.
    Regards,
    Shaju

    Hi Dirk,
    Thank you for your reply.
Our enduser will be using handheld device for Transfer Order creation. The user will pick the GR item material from one storage type (902) and the Transfer Requirement will be locked at this moment.Later while placing the SU in destination bin the user will scan the destination bin and the Transfer Order will be created at the time of scanning. Till the completion of the entire process the Transfer Requirement will be locked and no one else can pick the materials of the same GR from 902 storage type.
We are trying to create Transfer Requirements for each Goods Receipt Item and we are not able to find any user exit in Goods Receipt Creation or any customizing option.
Can you please check and help us to resolve the same.
    Regards,
    Shaju

  • User Exit / BADI for Transfer Requirement Create

    Hi All,
I have looked into the system and i could not find any User Exit or BADI for creation of Transfer requirement. This is for manual creation through LB01 and not interface with PP or IM. I am aware of the Userexits available for those, but i could not find any for WM TR Manual creation.
Let me know if you are aware of any.
    Thanks
    Jithin

When you create a transfer requirement, i want to make it mandatory to enter the destination bin, for example. The Transfer Requirement should not be saved if it is not entered.
I know we can do this by creating multiple movement types for each destination, but i want to know if there is a way where the user can enter the destination when creating a TR with a single movement type.

  • Creation of transfer requirement when posting material document

    Hi
I've copied standard movement 311 into 911 but i need another behaviour on this new mov. I use this mov in trx MB21 in order to create a reservation. When I post it in MIGO, I need to create a transfer requirement instead a Posting Change Notice. I think I could modify this on SPRO: Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Intefaces -> Stocks management -> Movement Classes
but i don't know exactly what to do.
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks and regards

    Hi,
You can create TR for your mov.type 911 in the below mentioned settings.
    SPRO - LE - WM - Interfaces - Inven. Mgmt - Define Mov.types - LE-WM Interface to Inventory Management
Set the indicator as X in the TR column & remove the tick in the posting change option.
    Hope its clear,

  • SAP WM-PP: Spit transfer requirements

    Hello,
We are working in a WM-PP scenario with transfer requirements and transfer orders.
For one process we need to use the "2 step picking" functionality of the SAP system.
In the release of the production order, the system is creating the transfer requirements. SAP is creating one transfer requirement per operation, with many items, one item for each component in the operation.
This is the problem, instead of one "big" transfer requirement with many items, we need to have many transfer requirements. This is because for the "2 step picking" process we need to have more than one "transfer requirement group" for the components of one production order operation.
The problem is that the "transfer requirement groups" can group "transfer requirements", no "transfer requirement items". If one transfer requirement is in the group, all its item with 2 step picking belong to the group.
Summing up, we need a way of splitting transfer requirement according to our criteria, in order to create several "transfer requirement groups" for the components of one production order operation.
As far as I know, we can only split transfer requirements in one operation according to the destination bin of the component.
Is there any other way of splitting transfer requirements?
Thank you very much for your help.

    Hi all,
    Thanks for the replies.
@ Jurgen: I have setup mail notifications, but I don't see any messages. It looks like SAP simply does not try to create a transfer order in the first place.
@ Bala: yes this has been checked. Actually I'm part of the project team so any changes would have been done by myself most probably. Anyway, no changes made to this part of the system.
    Any suggestions?
    Regards,
    Oliver

  • Transfer Requirement with Inbound delivery.

    Hi Guys,
    I have the following problem:
    The Warehouse is HU managed.
When I have a Purchase Order and I do a Goods Receipt the system is creating a Material Document and in addition a Transfer Requirement.
    But
When I have a Purchase Order and I have an Inbound Delivery, before I can do my Post Goods Receipt I have to do my TO creation and confirmation.
In IMG under Handling Unit Management > Basics > Delivery > Define Sequence of Transfer Order - Goods Receipt I can make my settings so that I can do my Post Goods Receipt before my TO creation and confirmation.
This means that I have again first a Material Document. Only in this scenario I do not get a TR, although in the WM - IM interface for movement 101 TR creation is set to X.
How can I get my TRs?
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Answers to your questions:
    Yes                 Yes             No.
The MIGO transaction is there to do the GR at the moment the truck is at your door, the inbound delivery transaction (VLxxx) is there to have an ASN creating the inbound delivery days before the truck will arrive. To avoid open TRs sitting there for days, the system normally doesn't create the TRs. The posting of the GR (and the availability for MRP etc) can only be done after the TOs are created and confirmed. If you look at an inbound delivery under the subsequent functions it says "create TO".
So you create TO from the inbound delivery and after that you post the GR.
Only, there is a way to turn around the sequence (when using HUs) but then the Mat Doc is created and not a TR.
We need the TR to be send by IDOC to another system.

  • Transfer Requirement not getting created

    Hi All,
    My query as below;
Production order is created using KANBAN (Control Cycle/Supply Area is defined) using classic KANBAN.
WM is in place and all the setting related to TR/TO creation for WM movement type 103 is in place.
When i am trying to receive this Production after completion it is not creating the TR/TO, while as material document is getting generated and shows the stock directly in interim storage type 901 without creating TR and TO.
Further i checked there is indicator in Production order i.e "Kanban indicator" that gets checked automatically when Production order is created using KANBAN Processs and if i remove that indicator forcefully, TR and TO is getting created normally.
Please provide some inputs where can be the problem and how TR and TO can be created normally eventhough KANBAN indicator is checked in Production order and where i can found the setting related to "KANBAN INDICATOR".
    Appreciate your help.

    Hi Maddy
Thanks very much for your response.
    1. When you use KANBAN, you define separate KANBAN storage location, which is different from WM-managed replenishment storage locations, and separate KANBAN interim storage area with storage bin.
Yes different storage location is defined which is not WM-managed in supply area.
As you said Control Cycle is defined, see if the interface is properly defined for both of these Sloc.
Where i can check whether interface is properly defined or not.
    2. See if you have defined the KANBAN replenishment strategy with Control type Transfer Requirements from a Storage Location which is being controlled by WM in the Customizing for Production under KANBAN > Replenishment Strategies > Define Stock Transfer Strategies
    Actually for a material two strategies are defined like;
    1) In-house Production strategies-0003-
supply area is defined with storage location which is IM managed.
And when this order is completed and i am trying to receive this in WM SLOC (usally whatever SLOC we have defined in supply area it proposes that SLOC at the time of receipt but i am changing this manually to WM managed SLOC) using transaction MIGO, it is directly taking the stock to 901 interim storage type and in total the stock increases but the problem is when TR is not getting created i am not able to take this to the storage bin as per strategies defined.
    2) Stock Transfer Strategies-This is working fine and in that TR/TO is working fine.
    3. For TO to get created automatically by the system from the transfer requirement, see if an indicator Automatic TO creation in the replenishment strategy is set or not. Yes this is set for stock transfer strategies but i didn't find option to check the TO creation automatically for in-house production strategy
    4. Also, check that you have set up a suitable replenishment movement type for KANBAN in the Customizing for Warehouse Management under Activities > Transfers > Define Movement Types (i.e.standard is 350 for KANBAN replenishment)-Yes this is also defined correctly.
Appreciate your more inputs on this.

  • Splitting a Transfer requirement .

    Hi All,
I have a requirement for splitting a Delivery in to Transfer requirement for every line Item. If this is possible . Cause i have to receive this delivery in RF Using LM71 transaction, so if i receive i only get one Transfer requirement created. and at the same time i also need to print labels for every Line Item.On the other hand the delivery is not received by line Item but as a whole.so is there any back ground logic which can be used for splitting the transfer requirement by line Item for each delivery.
    Thank you
    Raj

    Hi Ranga,
    Thanks for a quick reply.
I cannot use storage type to cancel the TO confirmation, because all the TOs that I am trying to clean-up do not belong to the same storage unit. I have a bunch of TO numbers which I would like to clean-up.

  • Procedure for Clearing Open Transfer Requirements & Posting Changes

    Dear All,
With my present SAP System, both IM & WM Stocks are zero for a given Sales Order / Line item. But there are pending Transfer requirements & Posting changes due to the fact that the users have not completed up until the TO Confirmation Stage. Now that the stocks are in harmony in both IM & WM, what do we do to the open transfer requirements and posting changes. What is the best practice procedure for the above scenario.
Appreciate an advice for the above scenario
    Thanks

    Hello,
Write a program which will call transaction LB02 for TR & LU02 for Posting change notice (PCN).This program will make status of these TR & PCN complete.
    I already used the same.

  • WM: Transfer Requirements with just one item

    Hi experts,
does anybody know if it is possible to customize WM in order to create just one item per transfer requirement.
My problem is that in material staging from PP, I have customized creation of transfer requirements on order release. If OF consist of three components, system create one transfer requirement with 3 items, nevertheless I need to create 3 transfer requirement.
    Thanks

No std funcationality available but i have done in the Past using the PO item user exit to force the user to enter the one line item PO only or the same item in the next line.
so with the developement it is possible

  • GR miss transfer requirment, how to picking it to bin. Manul TO failed.

Due to wrong customizing , GR for return purchase order did not create Transfer requirment automatically. MVT is 161.
the goods is recored in interim storage area 916 and WM mvt is 601.
currently , because of no TR, i cannot create transfer order to putaway from acture bin.
i try to create TO for GR material document with T-code LS06, but it is failed , i encounter below error.
"You have not selected any data for the material document 520105801
    Message no. L2030"
Expert ,please help me to soft this issue.
    thanks for your help.

In LT01,whether MVT 999 is ok?
In standard system, mvt 999 is used.
In LT10, symbol "Lock" in material, i cannot select item. how can i unlock it?
I don't know what you are doing. If a quant is locked you cannot move it.
I hope you are not trying to move the -quant which is in storage type 916. You should find the corresponding +quant in a "normal" storage type and move it to the -quant, to 916.
You can find information e.g. on SAP online help, answered threads about LT01/LT10 and about how to eliminate -quants in interim storage types.

  • List of Open Transfer Requirement(TR)

    Hi all
I want to know about report : List of Open Transfer Requirement(TR). Where i have to get the details. ie. Which table i have to get it? Can any one explain that reports briefly? Any Standrad T.code is there ?

    Hi Muthu,
You can use LB10 standard transaction to get the list of open TRs. You can start to process them in this transaction.
TR-tables: LTBK (header), LTBP (item) - you can use LTBK-STAU to sort out cmpleted&partially processed TRs.

  • Update transfer requirement user exit, with order

    Dear experts,
I want to use exit MWMTR001, function module EXIT_SAPLL03T_003 to update the Transfer requirement with the Order number created in COR1.
But I see that by the time the user exit is called, the order number has not yet been created in the database.
Is there maybe another place to do what I want?
    Thank you in advance,
    Roxani Athousaki

    Hi Frenchy,
Thanks for the answer. I have one more question.
Is it possible to automate it based on a movement type, so that every time we create a Transfer Order for this movement type the relevant TR will be automatically marked for 'final delivery'. This would help us, because then we would not have to go to WAM everytime to mark it as complete.
Or some kind of configuration that will dictate that only one Transfer order will be allowed for a Transfer Requirement and the TR will be set to complete as soon as the TO is confirmed.
    Thanks,
    Mike

  • MM - Stock Transfer Requirement

    Hi Gurus,
Is there by any chance a way to use Purchasing Info Record with Stock Transfer Requirement and Stock Transfer Order.
I need to use the "minimum purchase quantity" so that my Stock Transfer Order cannot be created below a certain amount of units...
If we cannot use Purchasing Info Record... Does anyone have an idea  on how to set up that process ?
    Thanks in advance !
    Remi

Thank you for your help. The only thing is that is generates Purchase Requisitions for 5 units instead of 2 units.
I would like the system to generate a Purchase Requisition when the accumulated needs for this material are 5 units.

  • RE: Auto-closed all open Transfer requirements

User sometimes uses LT10 to move stock from Receiving area to bin.
Because of this, there are many open Transfer requirement.
Is there a way the system will closed off the transfer requirement?
In which User exit can this routine be setup?
    Thanks
    bye

One way of doing this is by marking open transfer requirements as completed in transaction LL01 (warehouse activity monitor).
To run the warehouse activity monitor, you will have to define the variants in customizing.
When you get this report running, double click on the line for 'Open Transfer Requirements'. In the next screen, click on the button 'TR status deliv. completed.'
Another was is to do this individually in transaction LB02.
To my knowledge, there is no user exit to automate this. Perhaps you can write a custom BDC on LL01 transaction and run the program on regular intervals (PS this way you may end up closing genuine or un-processed Transfer Requirements as well!)
