Transfer Rules missing in Business Content (704 lvl 1) for CMS

Hi SDN,
We are currently on BI 7.0, and using Business Content 704 level 1. When collecting BIC InfoSources for Collateral Management Systems (CMS), we notice that the transfer rules are missing in business content.
Has anyone encountered this issue? I have been referencing notes 1171293, and 1179880

If there is missing in Business its problem with the business content patch levels.Check out with your basis team.

0HR_PY_1 Update rules missing in Business Content

Hi All,
In business content update rules from 0HR_PY_1 to Cube 0PY_C02 is missing.
We are on BI_CONT 703 0009 SAPKIBIIP9 Package level. I have checked in other system which is on package level 7 the update rule exists. And in the system with package level 11 the update rule doesn't exists.
Did anybody faced this issue. Any solution/comments on the same.

I have also check for the same in our Bi 7.0 system but cud not find the update rules for cube 0PY_C02

Content for 0REFX_3 transfer rules missing.

Hi folks
We are trying to implement content for 0REFX_C03 cube. But the transfer rules from datasource to infosource 0REFX_3 is missing from business content.
Inorder to get that we have implemented SAP note
BW transfer rules missing in delivery
SAP Note Number: 1246385
And we installed BI_CONT 704 SAPK-70401INBICONT New support pack for BI content.
It leads to weird changes in the system like previously available objects in BI content are missing.
Did any body encountered same problem.

We are having the same problem - no transfer rules for 0REFX_C03.
Currently on BI_CONT 735 Level 003.
Did this problem get resolved?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Trasfer Rules missing in BI Content

I'm facing an issue with transfer rules in BI 7.
For most infocubes, when i try to activate bi contnet in data flow before, it does not give me transfer rules.
Moreover, on the bi content installing screen on the workbench, when i'm trying to locate transfer rules, the system doesnt show any transfer rules available in bi content.
my bi cont is on patch level 11.

You re not entirely correct. Transformations are introduced in BI 7 but the old concept can still be used.
Moreoever, BI Content still predominantly delivers UR and TR.
Can anyone help in this matter?

Where can we find Business content Cubes,DSO,Reports for CS,PM,Treasury Management modules in help.sap.com. I searched in help.sap.com.But i haven't get exact link in the site. I haven't have access for the BI system.Can any list out the cubes ,DSO's,report that are in Business content for the above modules or give me the help.sap.com links, so that i can go through on it. It is for BI 7.O.
Does is there any differences in Business content objects for SAP BW 3.5 and SAP BI 7.0.

Business content is no differnce between in 3,5 or 7.0..may add few more

BI transfer rules missing .

Dear all,
we had made a system copy of the source system (ECC) and with BI (Scm) system i.e both the systems on Quality was refreshed with prod , now we get the error that transfer rules does not exist on the copied BI system .
Could any one help

Can we get Transformation rules while activating Business content

Hi Gurus,
I am trying to install business content for the cube 0SD_C05 in BI 7.0. I have selected in dataflow before and afterwards, but I am getting that as Bw 3.X flow like update rules and tranfer rules. Is there any option that I can get the business content installed in BI 7.0 flow, like I need the transformation rules and all.Please advise.

Hi,
While activating the BI content it will ask for the Datasource type to be extracted.There you need to specify in 7.0
Now as you have extracted,you can migrate the same.
Go the datasource>rt clk>migrate>with export>after migration>replicate the DS>activate and create transfor mation...

RSAU_READ_MASTER_DATA in transfer rules missing results or dump

Hi Guys,
Anybody know about if the RSAU_READ_MASTER_DATA work in transfer rules??
I have a routine for field attribute derivation from a infobject; putting the trans-structure as I_CHAVL and returning the E_ATTRVAL in result. But don't work and is hiring a dump of CALL_FUNCTION_CONFLICT_TYPE.
I tested with I_CHAVL equal to a string that is the key of a field in the infobject that I want to read; i haven´t the dump but don't work. The value is blank.

What's ur purpose here ??
If u're gonna read some data in master data, instead of using function, why don't u directly select to master data table ???
Usually the table name is /BIC/PX
X: Master data name.
/BIC/ => Customized one.
But if you want to get the information regarding what the table is, you can open directly respective master data info-object, and you go to master data tab.
In over there, you'll see the box whose label is Master data tab.
You can use SELECT command in ur corresponding transfer/update rules..
SELECT *
FROM ..
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELD OF TABLE ..
WHERE ..

Does sap BI business content comes with transformation for standards

Hai Can anybody tell me whether SAP BI 7 business content
comes with fully loaded transformations with all routines in place like our 3x update rules.
For ex when i load 0hr_pa_0 and 0hr_pa_1 in 3x iam getting the routine with code in place for business contents when i migrate iam unable to trace the transformations in Business content can somebody help or is it we have to do the coding stuff for age calculation,age range etc in transformations

Documentation for Business Content Rapid Marts Reports for SAP R/3

Hi,
As we have technical documentation for SAP BI business content BI reports on SAP HELP Portal,
is there any link where we can find the technical documentation for business content reports supported by SAP BOBJ Rapid marts for R/3 solution like for HR module.
I would like to know what kind of reports are available as a part of rapid mart business content and what are the measures ( key figures ), dimensions ( characteristics ) supported by each of these standard business content rapid mart reports.
I have referred business guide and user guide for HR rapid marts but they just give an overview of what analysis can be done.But there is no technical documentation for each of the possible rapid mart reports.

i can not see any tranfer rules in BI content . i have Bi -content 9 and Bw SP15 patch levels.

no am not done any migration of Ds till now,,
m donethe following steps..
1. Rsa5 -DS (3.x)activation ..(master n transaction)
2. replicated in Bi side .
3. installed the 0SD_C03 cube with "dat flow before " and "Automatic collection"
4.while tring to load master data for TEXTS 0BILBLK_ITM ..In Transfer structure it's not proposing the KEy1 field ..if i tries to map manually ..then loading ..it's giivng erroe where as in r3 records are avaialble (RSA3)..
is there any issue with BW SP15 and BI content 9 combination...
please suggegst.

Diagnosis
When generating the update program for InfoProvider 0PLANT$T, InfoSource 0PLANT_TEXT, a syntax error in line 0.
System Response
The update rules cannot be activated.
Procedure
If error message :
is cut off, proceed as follows to get the complete complete error message:
Go into update rule maintenance, choose Extras -> Display Activated Program and perform a syntax check. This allows you to find out what the error is.
If I select the Display Activated Program it says does not exist.

Missing Info Objects and Business Content in IDES ECC6 with BI7.0

I do not see most of info objects like 0COMP_CODE, 0BUS_AREA, 0RESP_PERS etc. and lot of objects missing in Business Content too.
I have IDES ECC6 with BI7.0.
Could someone please help me to retrieve those objects.

Thanks for the info. I am little confused. I thought i had full BW in my ECC6. What is the difference between ECC6.0 with BW and ECC6.0 with BW/BI7.0? BI7.0 has all business contents in it?
The IDES software has BW/BI 7.0 in it. That is what the person whi gave me told me. How can i verify that?
I have some knowledge of BW and i am trying to learn this new BW 7.0 on my own. Since it does not have BI content how can i proceed to learn on my own.

Activate Update Rules from Business Content

Hello,
I am trying to install 0QM_C10 from business content. Every thing works fine except there are no update rules (there are 3 info sources for this cube). I am new to this and it doesn't make sense for me to manually create (ofcourse the system does the proposal) update rules. Since that is lot of work. I was expecting some transaction / tool where I can activate the update rules from the Business Content (since I can see the update rules in the business content under "Display Description". Is there any tool like that?
Or, am I doing some thing wrong so the update rules are not automatically installed from the business content along with Cube and info sources?
Note: I did separate installation for cubes as well as info sources from business content using Grouping by "Only necessary objects" option.
