  • Stock Transfer and Demand APO

    Hello Everybody good morning,
I've got a scenario which i would appreciate your support.
The company which i work for we've got a sort of Sales Rep mobil. The stock usually is transfer accordingly their sales need by a transfer stock method into SAP and located into their specific storage location. Usually, this stock is often sold or it will be sold within the month. However, into APO demand forecast, this considerable stock "sold" is not yet included as the material was not effective sold, invoiced....
What i would like to know is, if there's any possibility to include stock transfer into Demand figuers onto APO?
Ie: Sales Rep. X / storage location 001
Stock transfer from Central Warhouse of 1 pc.
This one pc, despite be stil located into this Sales rep mobil, basically its sold, and i would like to know the possibility which this 1 pc be considered "sold" into APO. Is that possible? How could i configurated that this would happen? I guess that this is linked into Material Master set for this specific storage location up, am i right?
Well i would appreciate if anybody could adviced me into that scenario.
    Cheers
    CC

    Hi Caio,
In demand forecast, usually this stock consideration is not needed to be taken care into account as it will be net off during supply planning run (SNP).
In case you want to net the stock off at demand planning side, i.e. SNP is not considering this particular stock at all, then the stock data for specific storage location can be pulled into BW (or any other system you are using for transferring data between ECC and SCM). Extract the data to a KF in demand planning and while releasing the demand to SNP, use (Demand - sold stock) KF.

  • Transfer to demand management - Flexible Planning

    Hi everyone,
I was wondering whether someone has carried out the next process in the following scenario. I am working with flexible planning in SOP (level-by-level planning and dual level planning type, since I am working with product groups).
Now I would like to transfer to demand management some data stored in a ratio associated to one field (disaggregated value) in my planning table.
I tried to do it using the online mode but I just could transfer aggregated level values. I also tried to do it with batch processing (by creating a trannfer profile, then an activity, then a job and finally scheduling and executing the job) but there was an error message that looks like "No dual planning requirements allowed".
I would be very grateful if someone could give some useful information about how to solve my problem. I guess that someone in this forum has faced this challenge formerly.
Thanks in advance and best regards.
    Ben.

  • SOP and transfer to Demand management for MTO material

    Hi all,
    I have the following situation:
I have a material, a finished goods product with planning strategy 20 Make to order defined in the material master. I enter a sales forecast for the material in SOP in SAPECC (transaction MC87), works fine.
But when I try to release the forecast to Demand Management (MC74), I get the following error message: "No requirements type exists for material 110100 1 in plant 2". I can see that planning strategy 20 MTO does not have any requirement type defined.
But what is the best practice then to forecast on MTO materials (with strategy 20 MTO)?
What I want to do is to bring down the requirements of the MTO material to Long term planning to get a BOM explosion for the components. I realize that I should not start a production plan for the MTO material, but I want to plan the requirements for components several months ahead.
What is the best practice? Should I use a different production strategy? Am I missing config or any fundamental thinking here?
I need to have the material as a MTO strategy, but I want to plan the components.
Please, give me input on this if you have any solution.
    Regards,
    Lars

    Hi Lars,
Here's what you need to do:
    1. Instead of pure 20, customize a strategy group that has in it 20 and 10, and attach this strategy group to your material.
    2. In MC74 specify requirements type LSF, demand management version, and make sure to uncheck the "active" box (otherwise you will get requirements in the operative system, and not only in LTP).
    3. Do the transfer, and include the version in a LTP scenario.

  • Re: Sales forecast transfer to Demand Management

    Hi All,
I am facing an issue regarding the Sales forecast transfer.
Actually what is happening is When I Enter some Sales forecast in the combination of a Customer/Payer/SLoc/product /Qty. using T-Code :KEPM  & Then Further I transfer this Sales forecast by t-code KE1K.
I am able to see the quantities in the MC95 for that particular combination of as chosen while KEPM.
Now this happening in the right manner in the Quality client.
But when the user is trying to do the same in PRD client what is happening is the Plan is getting distributed to three location with same quantities which makes the total Sales forecast three times the actual.
Now I had recommended the user to input the specific data like customer/company code/Profit center & SLOC while KE1K.
Still he is facing this issue.
Please advice how to go for this.

  • SOP:transfer to demand management.

How to transfer the bom collectively in SOP & how tondelete the product group.
    Regards
    bhuvan

    Bhuvan,
What do you mean by "transfer the bom collectively in SOP"? There is no concept of BOM, but there can be product groups, which can have Product Groups / Materials as members, the lowest level of the product group should contain material as members.
Product group is nothing but Material master, with material type PROD, so you need to follow the reorganisation process same as the one for material master to delete product group. If you are looking at deleting the members of a product group, then that is possible in the change mode of the Product group transaction.

  • Transfer to Demand Mangement

    Hi,
Is that possible to tansfer the plan created in MC94 under the product group to demand mangement.

    Hi,
As said iam using the flexible planning and i have created the plan for product group and disaggreated to materials (product group has materials as end items).
    Hierarchy                             H1                               H2
    sales office                         100                              110
    sales group                         aaa                               bbb
    sold to pary                         xxx                               xxx
    Prod.group/material             mat1                             mat1
    Plant                                    PPP1                             PPP1
I have created the plan using MC93 for the material mat1 by hierarchy H1for the month 10.2009 as 500 and tranfered to demand mangement
next i have create the plani using MC93 for the material mat1 using the hierarchy H2 for the month 10.2009 as 900 and transfered to demand mangement
NOw when i check in MD63 for the material Mat1 for plant PPP1 for the month 10.2009 its showin as 900
why is it not showing 1400(900+500)
But if you look at planning point of view as iam getting demand from different sales offices so the total demand should be 500+900 and not as 900
    Thanks for you help

  • Transfer Demand Plan to R/3

    Hi All,
I need to transfer the Demand Plan to R/3.
Please let me know the importance of Period Split profile in the transfer profile screen.
we are using the posting periodicity in the planning book.
What is the use of Distribution Function?
Is it possible to transfer the demand in days for first 3/4 weeks and then in weeks for rest of the period.
    Your input/suggestions are highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Prabhat
Edited by: Prabhat Sahay on Sep 29, 2010 3:37 PM

    Prabhat ,
Period split profile is used when your demand plan is calculated in a particular periodicity (say month) and you want to see the result in ERP with a more detailed periodicity(say weeks or days).  In case your demand plan periodicity is the same as the periodicity in which you want to see the results in R/3 then there is no need for a period split profile. As the name implies period split , splits the value to a finer level.
Distribution function is used to assign weightage to the different periods. We divide the value of a period equally so iam not very sure about the distribution function concept. But i think , if you have demand plan of 100 CS for  a month and you are splitting it into weeks  (defined in period split profile) , and decide to give more weightage to weeks 1 and 2 compared to 3 and 4 then the distribution function comes into play . Not sure about it though.
Also refer to consulting note 403050 . It talks about releasing forecast to sNP, but then the concept of period split profile / distribution function is the same irrespective of the target to which the demand plan is released.
    Thanks

  • Transfer to iPhone 6 demands moving my old SIM over?

Want to transfer 5S to my new iPhone 6. New phone has a SIM but online transfer process demanding that I move my 5S SIM into my 6. How do I transfer without moving the SIM?

Hi there zip4635. Congratulations on the new iPhone! I am sure that you are really looking forward to using it. Quick question for you, why is that you don't want to transfer the SIM card? The SIM card simply provides 4G service to the phone. It doesn't store information or anything like that. What you can do, if you really want to use the new SIM is activate the new phone with the old SIM first, then put the new SIM in an activate it that way. Let us know if you have any further questions!

  • Transfer to ECC fails in the SCM 7.0 testing system

We  use only DP and are upgrading from SCM 5.0 to SCM 7.0. The planning book from where we transfer the Demand Plan to to ECC has a time bucket profile set up where it is maintained in months and the display is in weeks. The transfer to ECC happens in weekly buckets. Beacuse of this in the testing system for SCM 7.0 - the transfer fails as the system says that "Transfer to R/3 with mixed periodicites is not allowed".
The transfer has worked fine in SCM 5.0 version for over 3 years. Any suggestions here will be greatly appreicated.
    Thanks,
    Sarita Doddi

    Hi Sarita,
Please check the link below. It clearly states the data view used for the transfer process should have one periodicity only.
A planning buckets profile with one periodicity only (if it contains more than one periodicity, the job is aborted with an error)
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm70/helpdata/en/5f/176d4160168147e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
If you need different aggregation levels for the transferred demand (e.g weekly for 2 months forllowed by monthly for 10 months), you may have to release the demand in 2 steps.
Step 1: Release with a data view with only 2months in weekly buckets
Step 2: release with a dataview month 3 to month 12 in monthly buckets.

  • Transfer of data from flexible planning to PIR table when saving the trans.

    Dear all.
I have a query regarding Flexible LIS Planning (MC93 or MC94). My question is about on transaction MC94. When I save the data on this transaction, it automatically transfers to PIR (Planned Independent Requirement) table. I donu2019t know how this been done by the consultant; is this a configuration, abaping or any enhancement? Any one has any idea regarding this please advice.
I am very thankful for your help.

    Hello,
This is 100% SAP standard functionality.
    Go to transaction MC7F.
There, pick your Info structure SXXX and go in the details of it (CtrlShiftf2 or loop icon)
In the bottom right of your screen there is a block called "synchronization of planned independent requirements".
Delete the data that is there or simply untick the requirement "active" check box.
Alternatively, in that same screen above in the right there is a block called system paramaters - the least setting is transfer to demand management with user exit - uncheck that.
    Hope it helps.

  • Demand management table

    Sir,
We are following the process of SOP in REM as follows:-
    1) Creation of Product group.
    2) Upload the Sales plan for product group
    3) Desagregation of products
    4) Copy to active version from inactive version
    5) Transfer to demand management
we reqire the table for Sales and operation plan and also after transherring to demand management which table is updated. This is required as we are preparing a report for Sales Plan v/s Production plan.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Dear Nilesh,
    Check these tables,
P445V                            Sales and Operations Planning: Versions
    PGMI                             Product Group/Member Allocation
PGPL                             Sales & Operations Planning (SOP)

  • Demand Management Through SOP

    Hello Everyone,
I have a scenario where I receive an 8 week rolling forecast from marketing. This is transferred to production. 2 weeks before actual production the plan is firmed.
I was hoping to implement this using SOP transfer to demand management. I was also planning to use an MRP type with a planning time fence. But am not exactly sure of the best practice to transfer Rough cut plann data to demand management. Do I directly transfer the Rough cut plan to a "requirements plan" version?
If not what would be the best possible solution to run SOP?
Also Please suggest as to any specific configuration settings to be maintained for SOP.
Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
    Sincerely,
    Aji Kurian Mani

    Hi
It depends on at which aggregation level you are receiving the Forecast.
if you are receiving at Plant -Material level. I would advice you to directly upload in to MD61.
SOP is required, if you need to do any forecasting in SAP.
or if you need to publish , analsyse the Historical and Forecasting Values at diffrent Org Levels(Plant, cutomer, Material,Sales org....etc)
using the planning tables you can maintain the Figures at one Level, which gets aggregated automatically.
    Regards
    Ratan
