Transfer to Handheld no SD Card?

When I try to install documents to my handheld they all want to go to my SD card. And when I go into the install tool and try to “change the destination” it won’t let me. Any ideas how I can get word/excel files to transfer directly to my Tungsten E’s documents to go and not the SD Card??

To put the documents into your Palm's RAM, you need to use the desktop version of Documents To Go. Open the program on your computer, and add the files you wish to send to your Palm there.
After a Hotsync, the files should appear in Docs To Go on your handheld.
You cannot send raw Office files to the Palm's RAM. They have to be converted by the Desktop program first.

To sync photos from a Mac or Windows PC to your device using photo applications
Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed.
In iTunes, select your device's icon in the Devices list on the left.
Click the Photos tab.
Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Note: Some versions of Photoshop Album and Photoshop Elements don't support collections. You can still use them to sync all your photos.
If you want to sync all your photos, enable the option for "All photos, albums, events, and faces." If you want to sync photos from only some albums, events, or faces, enable the option for "Selected albums, events, and faces" and then select the albums you want. If syncing on a Mac with iPhoto version 6.0.6 or later, you may enable the option to "Include videos" to sync videos directly from iPhoto to your device. (Requires iOS 3.0 or later).
Click Apply.
To sync photos from a folder on your hard disk to your device
Drag the images you want into a folder on your computer. If you want images to appear in separate photo albums on your device, create folders inside the main folder and drag images into the new folders.
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left.
Choose "Sync photos from."
Select Choose Folder from the pop-up menu and choose your main image folder.
Click Apply.

How do I transfer data from an sd card to another card ? Never tried .

My son has the same make of sat nav in his car as mine, a Garmin. On mine I have an sd card that has the 2009 maps on it for the UK, my son's has the much older version.
Can I transfer the data from the card in my sat nav onto the card in his sat nav to up-date his maps ?

Put your card in the reader and put that into the Mac.
Drag whatever you want from the card onto the desktop.
Now put another card into the reader and drag that which is on the desktop onto the second card.

It's not possible to redeem or transfer an Apple store gift card onto an iTunes account - you can try contacting iTunes Support, but I'm not sure that they will be able to do anything : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
Are you able to take it back to the store and see if you can exchange it, or you could try selling it.

well your sd card of cause can't create a bluetooth connection
the iOS devices suppert the PEN bluetooth profile so if a device that read sd cards had an app
in app store which could using PEN connect to the sd reader and transfer photos over bluetooth then yes it would work
but it would require an app on the iOS side and bluetooth is much slower then wifi so the peer to peer sandisk wifi option would be a better bet
peer to peer would mean that no external wifi network was required

Easiest way is to transfer the photos to your computer. Then copy them to your ad card. You should be backing up all your photos on your computer anyway. Having them only on your iPad is asking for trouble should something happen to your iPad.

If you are adding the photos yourself, then you need to create a DCIM directory off the root of the card, with the photos underneath it with filenames exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus their file extension i.e. in the same format as if your digital camera had written them.

Take a backup of messages on PC using Nokia suite. Repalce the card and restore messages...
For transfering these messages to Phone memory you may follow the same procedure but change the settings : Messaging -> Options -> Settings -> Other -> Memory in use: change from "Memory card" to "Phone memory" and perform the operation of restore without putting in the new memory card...

Prepaid Paypal Debit Mastercard, Transfer money from paypal to card????? Won't let me?

Hi, I went out and bought the prepaid paypal debit MasterCard today thinking I would be able to get home and activate it to transfer money from my paypal account to the card in real time like the site states. Also the back of the card package says "Transfer money from your Paypal account by visiting paypal.com/prepaid." I did that and the card is activated and the card is on my paypal account under credit cards. But when I go to transfer money only my bank account shows up not the card. Why can I not use it?? Also I can not be approved for the MasterCard paypal card, was denied by the way. That is why I am going with the prepaid debit paypal card. Also the card is confirmed under the my cards page. Any help would be helpful. Also, I read somewhere about adding the Bancorp routing number and your account number to get direct deposit but when I try to find my account information on the page it does not show the area in gray with the acct number like the help page said. Do I have to do that to be able to transfer money from paypal to card? Really confused. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I too encountered this problem. When I inquired about it by telephone, I was told it works only after you have registered for a card with your name on it, and have received it in the mail and have activated it online. I said I thought their advertising was misleading, in that it quite prominently says you can instantly transfer funds from your PayPay account to your PayPay MasterCard debit card, but says nowhere that you first must wait about a week for the arrival of your personalized card. I said I hoped they would either correct their misleading advertising or change their policy to bring it into line with their advertising. I also said the same thing in subsequent email interchanges. I sympathize with you in your plight; I remain infuriated at having had to use a different venue for funds transfer than that which I had already paid them for; I am hopeful that they will fix this one way or the other. The upside for me is that I haven't had a problem with the personalized version. Also there was no additional charge for the personalized version. I suspect the reason for the policy is that PayPal is reluctant to give up any purchaser identifiability that thay have already gained. The photos must be located inside a folder named DCIM, and their names must have eight characters plus the .jpg
iPad SD Card Reader supports SD standards up to SDHC, miniSD and microSD with adapters, and MMC.
SDXC is not supported.
