Transfer videos to computer ?

I have a 8330 phone transfered video with no problem. But now i can't get it to play. Window pops up and says my speakers don't work but I don't have problem with speakers. Can anyone help me ?

If it is Roxio that you are using to play the media file (as opposed to Windows Media Player, DivX, WinAmp, or some other player), then yes that is my question. So, Roxio is telling you that there is a problem with your speakers.
Did you adjust the Vista Playback device before launching Roxio to play the media file? I've noticed that Vista tends to change (sometimes at will) the device to which it is attempting to play back audio. In your system tray, there is a little speaker icon...right click it and select Playback Devices -- set the default to the proper one. Then launch Roxio and try again. Also look inside of Roxio to see if it has any settings -- I don't use it so can't provide any insight.
Also try other media players -- Windows Media Player comes with Vista and should be able to play the file.
FYI -- All in all -- what you have is a PC problem...not a BB issue...we'll continue to try and help you as best we can... But primary support for PC problems is from the manufacturer of the PC, the vendor of the software (which, BTW, RIM simply passes through the Roxio software...it is not developed or supported by RIM to my understanding).

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

here is a cheaper solution than camera kit and a lot easier if you have WIFI available.
I use the PhotoSync APP (I think its a $1.99) will transfer videos and photos over WIFI to any other IOS device or even PC/MAC. Great app since I like doing video and photos on my IPHONE and transfer to IPAD2 without synching through computer or doing cloud based storage.
You can even send photos/videos from your MAC/PC to your IOS devices that way too. Makes it so much easier.

Go to the Map mode in your iDVD project and make sure the blue bin at the left is empty. That's where you drag slideshows to if you want the DVD to open immediately to that slideshow and bypass the menu.

Transfer video to ipad without computer/itunes

My macbook pro recently died and I can't afford to get a replacement right now. So I would like to know if there are any apps/programs to install on my bf's computer so that I can transfer videos from his computer to my ipad without clearing my ipad. I am currently using Air Video (or something like that) but it only works as long as both my ipad and his computer are connected to the internet, which obviously won't work once we leave the house.

You can transfer videos from your computer to the iPod Touch, but not to the Camera Roll.
The Camera Roll is for temporary storage only - for photos/videos captured by the iPod Touch and for photos saved from a received email or from a website. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.
