hi, i just recently bought a palm z22 from a girl that hardly ever used it so she passed on to me. i love it!!!; however i cant transfer all the info from the handheld to my pc. it is driving me crazy. please help me.

I hope she gave you the sync and charge cables. Did she give you the install CD too? If so, insert it in your computer's CD drive and follow the directions.
If not, go to palm.com/support. Pick Handheld and then Z22. Download 1. The User Guide and 2. the version of Palm Desktop that is appropriate for your computer's operating system. Run the installer and follow the directions.

If you're running OS X Lion or higher, sign into the same iCloud account on your phone and your Mac and turn the data you wish to share to On, as explained here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.html.
If you have iPhoto 9.2 or higher or Aperture 3.2 or higher you can enable photo stream to import new photos added to your camera roll to your Mac. If you don't have these, or wish to transfer existing photos, they can be imported to iPhoto as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. -

How to read the info from the card?
I'm using the GemPC410 reader and i'm succesfull to get the atr # of the card. Now i'm trying to get all the info that is in the card. Can someone help me out on how I can read all the info from this card?
You need to establish a secure channel between reader/card using Global Platform.
Look at the Global Platform Specifications on how to Authenticate to the card using ExAuth. That is the command to establish the secure channel. If you have developer cards, everyone ( except Gemplus ) uses keyset 0xff , 40 41 42...4f. -
TRansfered all the data, now can't log in to new mac.
I bought an iMac yesterday and transfered all the data from my MBP to the iMac using the Migration Assistant. Now I can't log in to the iMac. It keeps telling me I'm using the wrong password and should reset it using AppleID. Well, I can't get to the AppleID system to be able to do that as I can't log in. Which means, I am now back on using my MBP and my iMac is sat on the desk as a nice large very expensive piece of ornament.

To effectively transfer ownership of the iPhone requires that it be "restored" as a new device.

The iPhone is not a backup device. Your computer backs up the iPhone, not the other way around. What you use to back up your computer is up to you - Macs use Time Machine. I assume PCs use something similar.
If her PC backup is dead you will have difficulty extracting content from the iPhone since it is not designed to work that way.
All her Apple purchases can easily be transferred to another iPhone. However, her contacts will be gone, as will any music or other contact obtained from sources other than Apple.
There are a number of third party utilities that claim to be able to extract content from an iPhone. See wjosten's procedure here:

Making a new Apple ID was the worst thing you could of done. This is very bad to do. Not sure why people do that. Your Apple ID is Your Apple ID. You only need one and it is best to only have one Apple ID for all apple devices.

Last summer I bought a music album from iTunes. I've already transferred all my purchases from my units, but somehow iTunes wants me to pay for the same album again. When I try to add it to my wish list it simply tells me that I've already bought that item.
And I've already tried to search for downloadable purchases.
So fact is established, I've purchased this album before but iTunes does not recognize it.
What to do?Hey sorry for the late response but I've been out of town. I can copy and paste the email responses if necessary or desired, and if it's fixed already this is a moot point anyway, but basically they kept asking me for the order numbers for the two songs I already bought from the specific album I was trying to complete, which I eventually gave them - along with telling them multiple times that the Complete My Album feature wasn't working for ANY album. They gave me two free song codes to compensate me for the two songs I bought, and then told me to go and buy the album at full price, but the ENTIRE TIME they COMPLETELY ignored that I was telling them that this wasn't an issue with one album but was a larger, seemingly systematic issue that other people were experiencing. Even after I got the song codes I emailed them back and said AGAIN that this wasn't an isolated feature, and they just sent me the link to the apple Feedback page (http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html) and told me to submit my complaint there. So, technically, my issue was never really "resolved," in that they never fixed the Complete My Album feature that I am aware of - or even acknowledged that anything needed fixing, but I haven't tested it since Sunday.
If it's working for you, then hopefully they fixed it! I've noticed they've updated to 10.4.1, but the notes don't indicate they're fixing anything about the Complete My Album feature, so I don't know. -
I recently transferred my ITunes library to an external hard drive. I made sure to copy all the data from the saved location. After the transfer I noticed that a lot of albums are missing the first song and some recently purchased albums are missing. Is there any way to recover the data? Thanks for any help.

They only thing I can assume is that my external hard drive was slow to start and iTunes defaulted to its old directory (see the last paragraph at the link above). However, once my external was recognized shouldn't everything have fixed itself?

I Just synced my iPhone and lost all the info in notes I had on the phone. How do you have the info sync from phone to desktop and not the other way around as I usually make contact changes etc on my phone. I would then like to be able to sync that info from desktop to ipad thanks
It does make sense. The iPhone is a one-person device and just syncs to one computer.
The way it should work is as follows:
Old computer content ---> New computer
New computer <---> syncs to iPhone
But the way you are trying to operate sounds like:
Old computer content ---> iPhone
... and ...
New computer content <---> iPhone
So simply move your old stuff (either directly from iTunes, or from a computer backup) to the new computer, have it all there, then sync your iPhone to the new machine.
