Transfering contacts from Sanyo to the BB 8530

how do i transfer my contact list from my Sanyo to the BB 8530 ?     Both phones are on the boost network.

Transferring of contacts from any Blackberry to any Nokia is a very easy and fast process if youinstall Zebrost Phone Book Software i.e. Zpb.
After installing Zpb following procedure must be followed:
1.On Bluetooth in both the mobiles.
2.Mark the contacts you want to send with the help of Mark Contacts Option in Contact Options or
3.If you want to transfer all contacts Select Mark All Option in Contacts Option.
4.Then Select Send Option from Contact Options.
5.Select the mode ( here Bluetooth).
6.Select Send option.

• I get an error when transfering contacts from Sanyo Katana to HTC One by bluetooth

The phones will connect and start the transfer. Then the HTC will get an error but
flashes so quickly that I cannot see what the error is. The screen then goes to
“Unexpected error….” and stops. Is this a problem with HTC or the old Katana?
Does anyone have a work around?

The message says that there is something wrong with the digital 'handshake'
that takes place when a website and Adobe try to communicate.  This could
be caused by an error in the ebooks.com's authentication protocol, or with
Windows software that won't let the site connect to Adobe.
If you're using Windows 7, you'll have (to get help?) to check the security
settings as the first step in resolving the 'issues' that Win 7 has.
You'll end up having Windows 7 settings allowing communications with that
website.
Hope this helps!

If it's possible to export contacts from Blackberry to the SIM card, then you can place that SIM card into iPhone and import them to iPhone (settings>>mail, contacts, calendars>>import contacts from the SIM Card.

But arabic name shows not correct way? how could i solve this, but my n97 shows all arabic contact in a right way? and my outlook , is supported by arabic too.

You can try to copy out a single contact as vCard and import it into Outlook. vCard will encode the names in utf-8 Unicode correctly.

• I am transferring contacts from my old iphone to my new iphone 4. The screen has had 'restore in progress' on the screen for 20 hours now with time remaining going backwards. Is this normal? Should I let it go on?

I am setting up my new iphone4 and am trying to transfer all of the contacts etc from my old iphone 3GS.After linking it with itunes the screen has shown 'restore in progress' for almost 24 hours with time remaining going backwards. Is this normal? Should I let it continue?

No, that is not normal. I guess you are trying to restore from the latest backup created by your old 3GS?

• Transfering contacts from iPhone 2g to iPhone 4 went wrong!

Hello all,
I have the following issue - I have iPhone 2g and want to transfer all contacts and msgs to the new iPhone 4.
I followed this manual http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2109
First I made back up on the PC with info from iPhone 2, then connected the new phone and put the back up in it.
However, all contacts have transfered but settings from my previous phone! Like keyboard languages, time zones and etc. The problem is that the phone looks weird now!
There are menu's transfered from the back up to the new iphone, some of the ringtones stay there but they are unactive (when you go to sets>sounds>ringtones you see them, you can press them, but no sound comes) and most important - icons don't lool like the original iPhone 4!
So my questions - how to return to clean installation of OS 4.3 (or different) and is this the only way to get back the phone to the state I've bought it? I just want a clean new installation, no matter if i'll lose the information!
The iPhone 4 is OS 4.3, sim free.

if you sync with itunes or gmail or mobileme you can just remove the wrong synced contacts and  get the right ones from those services
if you don't you really should

• Transferring contacts from an N80 to a N70 via BT?...

I'm trying to transfer contacts from an N80 to a N70 via BT.Seems I need to do this from the N70? (There doesn't seem to be a way of transferring the contacts data FROM either device!!)
The N70 sends the N80 a files called DataMover.SiS which the N80 can't open.
I can't get the devices to sync with each other using bluetooth, regardless of which 'phone the attempt is made from...
The N70 had the very latest firmware (V5.0609.2.1) and is unbranded, the N80 was recently flashed to FW V3.0617.0.6 from the earlier FW (V2.something?) and is locked to Orange.
What is really annoying is that I managed to send the contacts from the N80 to the N70 BEFORE I upgraded the N80's firmware, but I can't remember how I did it!!
(The fact that I was previously able to transfer the N80 stuff to the N70 was the reason I didn't worry about loosing contacts when I had the N70 unbranded & the FW flashed!! D'oh!).
Is this just something I'm doing wrong or is this still an unresolved Bluetooth issue with the N80??
BTW, the latest FW on the N70 seems to have stopped it falling over & dying when trying to use TomTom Sat Nav..!

There is a way i've done it and it works.
This is what to do;
make sure you N80 is factory rest - like new doesn't have to be but that's how I did it.
Then send the transfer request FROM the N80 to the N70 and done!

• Transferring contacts from PC to 6500 Classic

Hi all,
I've just added all of my contacts using the PC Suite, but when I looked at my phone only 2 (the only 2 that I added thumbnails to) were transferred to my phone.
I disconnected everything, went to look at my conatcts in PC Suite and they're all there but still aren't showing up on my address on the phone!
Any ideas what I can do?
Thanks,
Julie

Correct me if I'm wrong, I surmissed that the contacts that are displayed in PCSuite in PC are from a previous phone you had before, else it won't display anything unless you synch the PC from a phone.
What I did when upgrading or changing phone is synch it with outlook, so even if the new phone is not fully compatible with PCSuite of the previous phone, most of the time I got all my contacts intact. By the way there is a new version of PCSuits that supports most of the new Nokia phones. Almost always the one on the CD that comes with the phone are passe.
Hope it helps.

• Transferring contacts from iphone to PC and Mac

Hi guys,
1) Can i seek help for transferring of contacts from iphone 3g to PC? When i select sync contacts on my itunes to my pc. My contacts will not show up on the pc.
2) Can i transfer my contacts from iphone to Mac as well?
Any help will be very much appreciated

HI,
This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1692 provides tips that will resolve most issues related to syncing contacts and calendars on a PC.
Make sure you have at least one contact in the contact manager on the PC, so there are contacts to merge.
You can sync and even merge contacts on from multiple computers as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1296

• Transferring contacts from iphone 4s to PC and then to new iphone5

I am getting a new iphone 5 and want to transfer my contacts from my work phone iphone 4S to my PC . when I get new iphone 5 I will then transfer contacts from PC to iphone 5.
Can you advise best way for me to do this?

Hello grandview97
The best method would be to back up your iPhone 4s with either iTunes or iCloud. Once that is complete, then you can plug in your new iPhone and restore that back up from either iTunes or through iCloud. The steps are laid out in the article below.
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
