Hi,
To create a Playlist, select Menu > Music > Music Player > Playlists > Options > Create Playlist. Name the playlist & add songs to the playlist.

  • Playing music off the memory card through the FM t...

How do I play an full album off the memory card? Currently it will only play one song at a time then stop? As I'll end up with a few albums on the mem card, this obviously will become very annoying as I can't store them on the phone memory!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

What many don't realise is that the memory card is more to blame than the phone it self when the phone freezes like that.

This sounds like you are using Photoshop Elements, and the Photoshop Elements forum would be best at answering that.

  • How do you import photos without deleting photos off the memory card?

How do you import photos without deleting photos off the memory card?

If you're using Image Capture, Aperture or iPhoto just say 'No' when it asks if you want them deleted.

  • Why does iPhoto delete my photos I have deleted off my memory card?

I have an 8 gb memory card for my camera. Sometimes I want to show pictures to people off my camera, so I don't delete all my photos off the memory card. I pick and choose. Recently, I was looking through iPhoto at old events and saw that the pictures that are no longer on my memory card were also no longer in iPhoto. This is extremely frusterating because I lost hundreds of pictures!! Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

Are you running a Managed or a Referenced Library?
A Managed Library, is the default setting, and iPhoto copies files into the iPhoto Library when Importing. The files are then stored in the Library package
A Referenced Library is when iPhoto is NOT copying the files into the iPhoto Library when importing because you made a change at iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced. (You unchecked the option to copy files into the Library on import) The files are then stored where ever you put them and not in the Library package. In this scenario you are responsible for the File Management.

    That's why I threw away my 32GB Zen and bought a D2+.
Well... there were other reasons for breaking it and throwing it away.... the fact that it was a piece of crap that locked up constantly for one.
You should look into Cowon's players if you want to be happy with your purchase.

  • C5-03; how to view music files in the memory card ...

Is it possible to view the files in the memory card (using the File Manager) folder-wise? I have some music files in the memory card; in a folder named 'Music'.  When I go to Menu - Applications- Office- File mgr - E:Memory car-Music , I see the files in different collections corresponding to the artist/ genre names.  I don't see the folders I had created.  The artist/ genre (meta) data is not accurate and so the listing based on that is not useful.
This is related to the problem with Palylists I had posted earlier.

go to music player select options and refresh player this will pick up all the music
you will get a message on screen for example 40 songs added the go to music player select all songs
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.

  • Transfering recieved files to the memory-card!!!!

    Hi,
I transfer files/pictures to my E71 via the Bluetooth but have a couple of problems!
1- If the file is bigger then the available phone memory (max 110 meg!) then i can't transfer! That i understand but does it exist any way to configure the phone to save the recieved files directly to the memory-card?
2- Those files that do get transfered to the phone, you have to open first before being able to transfer it ti the memory-card! Problem is some times the phone memory is not enough to even open it so you can't open it nor save it on the memory-card!
3- There seem to be NO "transfer file" option between the phone memory and the card memory!
    Anyone knows something?

If you go into Messaging, hit Options, choose Settings and then Other, then you can change the "Memory in use" from phone memory to the memory card. After that all incoming messages will be stored on the memory card.
You can also use Nokia PC Suite and use its Windows Explorer extension (Nokia Phone Browser) to copy files directly to the memory card also over Bluetooth (without going through Messaging at all).

  • I uploaded a lot of important pictures to iPhoto, after downloading them I deleted them off my memory card. Now, iPhoto will not let me look at the pictures and the album in which I put them is empty. Where did they go? What should I do? Help please!

I uploaded a lot of important pictures to iPhoto, and then deleted them off my memory card. I tried looking at the pictures and they are no wheere to be found, the album in which they were is empty, and I looked everywhere for them. Where did they go? What should I do?

Check to make sure the iPhoto Advanced preferences are set to copy photos into the library when importing, i.e. a "managed" library:
If it is and you don't see any thumbnail in the Event they should be in apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with
Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments.  However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.
If you are unable to get iPhoto to recover the photos MediaRECOVER can be used on the memory card to recover the photos as long a they haven't been overwritten.  It will run in demo mode so you can see if it will recover the photo before you have to purchase it.

  • IPhoto won't read any of my portrait photos, only the landscape ones. They only show up as black portraits and I already erased them off my memory card. Any idea how to retrieve them or fix the problem?

I am using a 16 GB Sandisk Extreme Pro SD Card with a Canon EOS 60D camera and my files are saved as .raw on the memory card. I imported all my photos into iPhoto and then clicked the 'delete photos', as I always do after I imported by pictures, but when I went through my pictures I saw some black rectangles. It appears that all my portrait-orientated photos are just black whereas my landscape photos are perfectly fine. My portrait potos did turn up on my camera screen when I checked them through as I took them but now they're gone. Any idea if this is a software problem with iPhoto, an error with my memory card or even my camera? I've experienced this problem a bunch of times and it's really starting to annoy me that I'm losing all my photos.

    What version of iPhoto?
Select one and rotate it. Then rotate it back. Does that make it appear?
A much better work flow is the keep the photos after importing.  Check the success the import, wait for at least one successful backup cycle then use you camera's format command to reformat the card

  • My 40gb can be played but Itunes says it is corrupt.  I want to get the music off the Ipod onto my new computer, old computer died which had all the data on it (crap on my behalf I know)  Anyone know how to do this?

My hard drive is corrupt even though I can listen to the music on the Ipod.  Itunes says it is corrupt so obviously cannot read it properly.  You can hear the disk reader resetting every few seconds preventing the data recovery.
We can see the track listings and playlists which we used for our wedding in 2005 and desperately want them back.
Sadly we lost the hard drive that had Itunes on it with all our music which we dont have a back up of.
Is there anyway it can be repaired and then we get the music off the Ipod and get it back on a new pc....and back it up of course?!!!

From the OP: "My old computer got a virus and when that happened all my music was lost. "
They don't have the music on their computer so they cannot transfer the iTunes folder, from the computer to their iPod and then to the new computer. And if they try to enable disk use on the iPod it will erase all the music that is on it. The method you cited is moving the files in a data format using the iPod as a flash drive. It doesn't work if they are in music format. That is why I suggested Yamipod.

  • How do I acces Creative Zen M300 music on the MicroSD Card

I recently received the M300 as a gift and transferred over 8GB of music to the microSD card. The player can see the music if I access it through the MicroSD menu option. However, I have only been able to figure out how to play individual songs this way. I can find a song and it will play. This is EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT!
I would like to access the music on the card via the Music selection, but that does not appear to be possible. Thus I have been trying various methods to access it through a playlist, and everytime I follow the instructions for using WMP2 I can create the list, and transfer it to the player, but when I select it, it shows [empty].
I have the latest firmare update (6) so that is not the issue. So, I have over 2000 songs that I cannot figure out how to play except one at a time by browsing the MicroSD file structure/list.
    Any suggestions Please
    Thanks, Brian

    Hi,
Some points you might want to take note:
. The SD card isn't integrated into the Music Library so whatever music files you have in the SD card have to be accessed through the SD card option. It takes a while for the player to scan the SD card everytime you remove the card/turn on the player. It would be recommended to transfer these music files to main memory of the player instead.
    2. Please make sure that the music files are already in the player before creating the playlist. You might want to refer to this guide to create a playlist using WinAmp.
    3. On the main menu, select Music -> All tracks -> any song you want to play. The player should start playing this song and move on to play another. It should not stop after one song unless the play mode has been modified.
You might want to refer to the user guide for more details.

  • Once I updated software on my N95 the memory card ...

I have read various posts about the same problem.
I backed up my phone memory to my memory disk memory before updating my Nokia software as suggested. I have now been asked to put in a password. I didn't set a password, and have tried 12345, but no luck. I would prefer not to format the memory card as i will lose contacts and a hefty amount of music.
    Please advise
    ps
Nokia should give a warning that the memory card will lock!

That message appears because your phone was hacked to unlock it in order to use it with the carrier you're now using. Updating software or restoring a hacked iPhone will re-lock it to the carrier it was originally locked to. You have two choices: re-hack it, or get it officially unlocked(only the carrier it is locked to can authorize such).
