Tenia todas mis aplicaciones y archivos en una lap top de windows. Ahora compre una Mac Book Air.
Como puedo transferir las aplicaciones y archivos de la vieja lap a la nueva?

Hola, debe tratarse de un falso contacto, las teclas que realIzan esa funcion suben y bajan normalmente como lo hacen el resto? colocalo con mucho cuidado boca abajo y sopla a las teclas alt y tab por si tuvieran algun elemento extraño, no se me ocurre otra cosa.
Si el problema persiste lo que yo haria es aplicar OneKey Recovery, esto deja el equipo a su estado original de fabrica, comprueba si el problema continua para descartar un problema fisico, de serlo, deberias llamar a soporte Lenovo y aplicar la garantia.

Transferring iTunes music library from a mac to a PC

Does anyone know how i can transfer all the songs on my mac iTunes to my new windows iTunes? I followed the instructions on the msn support website but these instructions must only be for transferring the iTunes library from a mac to a mac, or from a pc to another pc, and not from a mac to pc or vice versa.
I`ve just bought a laptop to take to university and i want to bring my music library with me.
When i loaded up my itunes from mac onto the pc it just keeps saying windows does not recognise the type of file. Is there a way of changing the settings so that windows will recognise and run a mac file?
If anyone knows that'd be of great helpThe music files will transfer and play without a problem.
You will need to download a Windows version of iTunes and the iPod Updater in order to use the PC. The Mac versions will not work.

There may be some problem with the Windows version of iTunes reading the Mac's iTunes Library file. This may prevent you from completely moving over some of the music meta-data from the Mac to the PC.
There have been some posts on this, but I'll need to search for them.

EDIT: Based on an old post I had copied into my "iPod Hints" file, here is how one contributer gave a high-level process:
i 1) copy the iTunes Music folder to your Windows machine, replacing the existing folder (back up the existing one first)
i 2) copy the iTunes Music Library.xml file to your Windows machine, and change the name to e.g. iTunesMac.xml so iTunes won't write over it.
i 3) delete any "iTunes Library.itl" file (back up the existing one)
i 4) run iTunes, and do File > Import... and pick iTunesMac.xml

i transfered my music into my new mac into itunes media folder from an external, but it dosnt show in itunes. I have to click on each one to activate it on itunes. there has to be a better and easier solution. help
Thank you for your prompt response - I did as you said and did a drag and drop into the iTunes window - it imported and got my album art from the net. When I started Itunes with the shift key down I was prompted to choose a library but since I copied over the media folder and not the library folder I was unable to select that so I guess I will have to create a new library and add in all the music, videos, etc. unless I wait for my laptop and export the library or at least that seems to be the case? In short, all my data (iTunes media folder) is on my external drive and can be added to the blank iTunes screen but I can not choose a library folder. Is there anyway around completely making all those playlists again? I am not sure my laptop will survive the shop with data intact and really hate to start over on those.
In an unrelated question - I collect old TV shows from the 1950's. Can I make playlists within the home video folder somehow? In other words like one for Quiz shows, one for comedies, one for police and detective shows, etc. while I am remaking all my playlists for my music if I end up having to go that route?

Even with ipod rip, trouble transferring music from Win-IPOD to Mac-Itunes
New Macbook (recent convert). Windows formatted IPOD. Bought IPOD-Rip. Plugged in ipod holding down Apple+Option so no accidents. Said IPOD RIP didn't recognize any music on IPOD, but did I want to do "hard recover" Yes. So--it then transferred entire contents of IPOD to Mac desktop. There it sits in all its glory. But my Mac Itunes doesn't recognize it, I THINK because it is Windows formatting. How do I get these songs into my Mac Itunes? While transfers are commonly discussed here, I don't think I've seen this particular problem?
Thanks so much! Seems to have basically worked. But didn't import the playlists...I'm sort of assuming that given everything else peculiar to my situation, that there's nothing I can do about that?

Just transferred data to iMac from working Mac Pro that is using Parallels and Windows 7 and the Biblesoft 5 and it will not open on the iMac the only change is the new Maverick OS from the macpro Lion OS. Any ideas?
<Personal Information Edited by Host>Setup Assistant and Migration Assistant do not restore MS Windows, it only does the OS X partition. All of your Windows stuff must be backed up and restore using a MS Windows application. If no one on this forum is able to answer your question then I'd repost it on a Parallels forum to see how other Windows users approach this.

Don't understand?
There is no "main" itunes.
Your "stuff" will be wherever you put it.
Copy it from wherever it is now to wherever it is that you want it.
Perhpas if you explain, more help can be given. -

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
By default, Migration Assistant creates a new user account where it puts all the transferred data. Just go to > Log Out, and log in the new user that Migration Assistant has created, so you will be able to access to the transferred data.
If you want to merge the data into the first user account, use the Shared folder (it's in /Users/Shared) to put the transferred files there, and then, on the first user, go to the Shared folder and put all the data in the folders you want -
Transferring a pdf file from my Mac to my iPad
I ws told that there is A WAY OF TRANSFERRING A PDF DOCUMENT FROM MY MAC TO MY IPAD. DFoes anyone know how to do this?
I still make use of iTunes/iBooks too.
iTunes is especially important if I'm adding lots of pdfs (or just larger pdf files), that'd take too long to upload/download.
But, its always nice to have another means of entry that isn't confined to iTunes, or starting web servers from inside apps, etc etc.
Plus, it's not just for pdfs... AND you can get at your files from literally anywhere (Mac's, PC's, iDevices, Android, Dropbox website, etc.) It really is a fantastic service.
BTW, choosing "Open in iBooks" will move the pdf into the "PDFs" Collection in iBooks. That might help you find your previous errant pdfs. -
New to mac. While transferring files from old computer to mac I burnt out a brand new flash drive. How do I format a new flash drive so that it will let me transfer stuff from mac to pc or vise versa??
