Transferred Roles not showing up in WP3R

Hi All,
I have a BI 7.0 System which is connected with EP 7.0.
I uploaded few roles from the BI System in the portal and made some changes to the uploaded role.
Then i transferred these roles back to BI System from the portal using role transfer utility of EP.
The report i get in the portal is showing that the roles are perfectly transferred with all the services.
Now when i go to BI System to generate the authorization role and corresponding profile using TCode WP3R,
i get the message 'No Matching Data Found' when i execute first option 'Maintain Roles ........'.
All the system object and rfc destination are maintained properly and there is no problem with the connectivity between BI and EP.
Is there anything else i need to do for wp3r to read the transferred roles from the portal??

Hi Thaker,
did you generated the role
you have added any transactions or added manuall objects
try in SUIM Role>>by role name>>give the role name and execute then click on transaction assignment

UME problem - ABAP roles not showing up in UME

Hello,
I'm having a problem where the ABAP roles (UME groups) for my PI system are not showing up as assigned to a user in the UME. The roles assigned to the user are not reflecting the roles (UME groups) that are in the ABAP side. But, other users are showing up fine. The user is shown to have only the standard basic roles.
This works fine on my development and AS system. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi George,
There is a 30 minute delay before these roles/groups show up in the Java system. Could that be the problem in your case?

Transferred music not showing up in iTunes library

I moved my music from a PC to Mac and now it's not showing up in iTunes. I used an external hard drive to copy all of the songs over and they are in the iTunes music folder. Is there something else I have to do to get them to show up in my iTunes library?

Composite role not showing in Access request screen. (BRM not used)

Dear All
I have created a composite role in backend system with 2 single roles.
a. I have imported the single roles using the NWBC screen.
b. run the auth sync job.
c. imported the composite role as a techincal role using the NWBC import screen.
the import procedure was successfully completed.
But when i try to search for the role in Access request screen for a user - i can only see the single roles & not the composite roles?

Hi Raju,
In addition to Alessandro's valuable inputs, you need to be sure whether or not you were able to generate the composite roles (in NWBC).
The final stage of the composite role has to be in complete status.

Roles not showing up

Hi,
We are using EP sp 10, and using LDAP as our data source, we have just moved the portal content from Development to QA and despite attaching the roles to the users, when the users log in it shows up blank, to content at all.
Please advice at the earliest.

please check your QA system is also configured with LDAP data source.
make sure that the user existing in development system also exists in QA system
if it is not the case.
after transporting the content from developement to QA system u need to perform assigning the roles to user again.
or else u have other option like transporting the user details from developemnt system to QA system.
for this go to user Administration->export-> seacrch for all user and perform the expoert save the data in a notepad file using copy & paste (this is at development system side)
now login into QA system again go to user Administration->import-> select the note pad file
and perform the import operation

Anyone know how to remove Overdrive books from my iphone that have been transferred from my computer? They do not show up on itunes. I see a lot of answers to this question but they all are based on being able to see the books in iTunes.

How do I remove Overdrive books from the library that were downloaded onto my computer then transferred to my iphone? The problem is that they do not show up in iTunes.
I see this question asked a lot when I google, but they always give answers that assumes you can find the books in iTunes either under the books tab, or the audio books tab or in the music. They do not show up anywhere for me. They do not remove from the app like the ones I downloaded directly onto my iphone.the related archived article does not answer it either. I even asked a guy working at an apple store and he could not help either. Anybody...?

there is an app called daisydisk on mac app store which will help you see exactly where the memory is focused and consumed try using that app and see which folders are using more memory

I have transferred my music to new computer but music is not showing in iTunes - although is on the computer as if I select a song from the folder it will play that song via iTunes. How can I get my music to show?

The music is there as I can access it via My Computer and if I select a song it will show in iTunes and play - however I can not do this for every single track! Before you connect any device to a new library go to the Devices tab of the the preferences panel via Edit > Preferences (Windows) or iTunes > Preferences (Mac) and ensure the box next to Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically is ticked. You can now safely connect the device to your computer without the danger of media being automatically deleted or overwritten.
To get all your content off your connect your iPad to your new computer.
Then use a 3rd party piece of software to transfer your content

it's a known issue. Everyone is experiencing this issue. Give it time for Apple to rectify the issue.

ARA does not show Violations in a role though conflicting transaction codes are assigned???

I have noticed that a role having conflicting transaction codes assigned in the back end system is not propelry analyzed and in ARA application. When this role is analyzed, "No Violations" message is shown though there are conflicing transaction codes assigned.
As far risk definitaion is concerned, conflicting actions are properly defined in respective conflicting actions and thse actions are grouped in a risk, which is applicable to a logical group (which in turn has the connector included causing this problem) and they are active.
Rule are properly generated for the all the risks and functions. However, at the time of running risk analysis for this role, ARA is not showing as risk.
May any one please advise on this?

Now I have defined SAP_R3_LG logical group as "SAP" connector type and regenerated all the rules. Still it is showing no violations!

ARQ: Role Import does not show roles in the preview

Dear All,
Recently I upgraded our system to SP#14. Now when I try to import roles from NWBC->AM->Role Mass Maintenance->Role Import, it does not show roles in preview. Also, it does not import the roles specified. (either a range or full name of the role). It does not even give any error message.
I implemented SAP note#1897975 Role import does not show roles in the preview.
Still facing the same problem. Has any one faced this problem? Please suggest.

Creating a custom role does not show up whe creating a user

On portal 10.1.4 I have followed the directions in 10.1.4 Oracle Server Portal Configuration Guide.section 6.1.6.9.1 Example: Defining a User Administrator Role.
However, the newly created role does not show up when I create a new user.
Any suggestions?

This is a bug in 10.1.2.0.2. It works if you create the group from the directory page OID

and search for roles this role is not showing up.
However, role does have the transaction in S_TCODE.

Roles by transaction searches for roles in the menu, not roles in S_TCODE.
Use Roles by authorization values, enter S_TCODE object and the tcode in the field if you want to search for tcodes in S_TCODE.

CUA Roles residing in Child system are not showing in Central System

I just hooked up CUA today and have linked 8 child systems to the central system. The 8 child system users and roles have already been established in the child systems. Do I need to run program susr_zbv_get_receiver_profiles in each of the child systems to get the roles in the child systems to show up in the Central System for each user? I tried this in one child system and it worked.
Or is there something else I need to do without going into each child system?

are you looking for roles or profiles? profiles will not show up in the central system. If you run SCUL do you see anything? when you first added the child system did you use an SAP user that had the proper permissions? In both the child and the parent? There are two roles that the user must belong to to add the child to the parent they are SAP_BC_USR_CUA_SETUP_CENTRAL and SAP_BC_USR_CUA_CENTRAL.
If you have any question about the permissions of these user at the time you added the child to the parent I'd delete the child and re-add with either the above roles or a user with SAP_ALL in BOTH the child and the parent systems

Transactional Iviews are not showing ( with out super admin role assigned )

First Problem
I am not able to create the user from portal directly. Its showing the fallowing error.
An error occurred in the persistence; contact your system administrator.
so i had created the users in WAS by SU01.
Second
We have some users at production server ( Assume 5 users ). and those users need to be mapped at portal. So that those users can directly enter into portal and operate on SAP system .
If u dont mine Please provide with me the steps to fallow

i had created some transactional Iviews that are working fine when i am log in with Administrator( super administrator role). The problem is that the reports are not showing when i am log in with general user ( with out super administrator role ) .
Its showing the error
Could not able to look up the system.
And the problem with user mapping also .
For aministrator its working fine .and for a general end user ( created on WAS )
i am not able to provide user mapping. Its showing

Second Problem
If the Portal user name and R/3 user are the same then no problem other wise you have to do user mapping
Third Problem
Check the permissions. Right click the system object and give permissions for all
Create an alias for the system object for doing user mapping
First Problem
Try creating user from http://<portalserver>:50000/useradmin
