Transferring adobe cc cs6 to new computer

Tried to transfer adobe cc cs6 from old MacBook Pro to new iMac, got error code:16.

Do not try to transfer from one machine to another... it rarely works. You need to install the Cloud manager, sign in, install the applications.

Also, I had to install the software twice on my same computer before because I had to reboot the computer. I don't know if this affects the limit.

You are allowed to have two activated installations so there should not be a problem having working installations on the two machines. If by chance you have somehow tied up two activations for the one machine you can have Adobe support help resolve that thru chat.

Problems Transfering cs6 to new computer.

After attempting to Transfer my CS6 to new computer, when attempting to open an adobe application I receive this message.
Please uninstall and reinstall the product.
If this problem still occurs, please contact Adobe technical support for help, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and still the problem occurs. I tried finding a location to download cs6 trials where I could then just plug in my serial number, but can not find cs6 for download to mac either.

Without exact system info and other technical details nobody can say anything.

Adobe put CS6 Extended on computer as trial now can't access regular cs6

Adobe messenger had an update. when I updated it turned out to be a trial version of PS CS6 Extended rather than my original Photoshop CS6. Now trial is over and I can not access my original photoshop CS6 program. Only option is to purchase the Extended version on line on the Cloud.

I have re-entered the serial number for my original CS6 and it is back working again. Thank you all for your quick responses. I was afraid I was up the creek with no water running.. (: All is good now.. Ed

You do not move, you need to install them properly using your original install media or downloaded installers and the serial numbers. Deactivate your programs on your old system, too, using Help --> Deactivate. When you install, obey the correct version order - older versions before newer ones to avoid conflicts. That's all there is to do. if you encounter specific problems, come back to this forum.

first make sure you are installing the right product from the original disks/saved download, as there are multiple similar products. Did you buy direct from Adobe?

If your two activation are in use you need to call Adobe. Install CS3 to to point of activation and call Adobe at that point. They have help me in cases like your My Disk crashed and I replaced it. Could not deactivate the crash activation. I done that twice over the years I've been using PS for around 20 years

Yes. You have to deactivate it on one computer and then you can install it and activate it on another. Technically, your license allows you to have Photoshop CS6 installed and activated on two computers, you just can't use both at the same time.

All content that you download from iTunes is tied to the account that downloaded it, and it can't be transferred to or merged with another account - so you will need to authorise that old account on that computer if you want to use its content.

I have transferred my itunes music to new computer, but purchased music does not appear. How can I restore purchased music? The link ´purchased´in the store does not show music, only movies and apps

iTunes prefs > Store.
Tick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
If it's not there, log out of iTunes store then log back in.
Now select Movies and there will be a column with a cloud.
Click the cloud icon to download.
