Transferring CD tracks from computer to ZE

While transferring cd tracks from my computer to my ZEN V player, I changed my mind and cancelled the RIPPING CD TRACKS.
I also disconnected my player from the computer and now have the docked image on my screen and cannot remove it.
Can anyone help me?

Yes, I gave many of the CDs away - if I don't like most of the songs on the CD, I put the ones I like in iTunes and don't take up storage space keeping the entire CD. I assumed since I bought them and put them in iTunes, that it would let me put them on my new iPod, or burn a CD or whatever. Maybe I'm not doing the sync correctly. I plug my new iPod in, and when I try to select the songs and drag them to my new iPod, it tells me it can't find the original. For future reference, will iTunes ALWAYS not let me copy songs that I don't have the original CD to?

  • Problem with transferring garageband track from iPad2 to macbook

    Hello,
I have a problem with transferring track from Garage band 2.0 on iPad2 to a new macbook pro (oct2013).
I saved a track on macbook via iTunes but when i`m trying to open it on Garageband it shows an error.
I have updated all soft recently. So it couldn't be true.
Could you please help me to solve the problem?
    Thank you very much!

What software are you running on your MBPr? Are you using MacOS X 10.8.5 or MacOS X 10.9?  Probably you need to update your MBPr to Mavericks and GarageBand 10.0.0.

  • Deleting some photos transferred to ipad from computer

I transferred all my photos from my computer to my ipad and now find that I want to delete some.  In simple English, can someone please tell me how to get them off my ipad.  Step by step please.  Thankyou

If photos were synced from your computer then they can't be deleted directly on the iPad, you will need remove/de-select them from where you synced it from on your computer and re-sync.

  • Transferring ordered songs from computer folder to playlist on device

I want to copy a folder of songs from my computer to a designated playlist on phone without losing order. How does one keep the order?  I've just does this with my updated iTunes and the 49 songs of a playlist are all a jumble.   (I usually do NOT do a SYNC, just drag and drop.)

Okay so I did that and I got the songs on my HD. Thanks for that. I had another question though. Since I got the songs on there, I wanted to have them stay on there and not have them take up all the space on my laptop. When I first got my laptop I transferred the songs onto here (something with consolidating or something) and now the songs are listed on iTunes, but I can't play them because they're actually on my HD. Do you know what I mean? If so, is there any way to do this with my new songs?

  • Trouble Transferring Videos Files from computer to ipad in ios 8

    Hello -
I'm a bit confused about the "sharing" aspect of what used to be the "home videos" section in itunes for transferring video files to my ipad. It appears I can only access these files when my itunes is open and able to be accessed via wifi. What am I missing? I would like to have the files themselves on the ipad so that I can watch videos when not connected to the internet, and not near my computer.
Apologies, this is probably an easy fix - I haven't been able to find an answer,
    Elizabeth

  • Transferring SOME songs from computer to portable HD?

Is it possible to just transfer some songs from your comp to your portable HD? I have already transferred my songs onto it, but then I downloaded new songs that I need to put on. Is it possible to do this without having to get all the songs again?

  • Question about adding tracks from computer not your own

Hi, Before I ask my question I'll just describe the situation. I have a primary computer which is archaic in that it does not have a cd rom drive. Therefore, I have to download mp3's to put them on my playlist because I can't access them through cd. Now, my sister has a computer with a cd-rom drive and an itunes too. However, when I connect to her computer, itunes does not recognize my playlist and pretty much says that I have to erase my playlist in order to create a new one. So, I have to sacrifice the tracks I have in order to upload my cds in my ipod. Now the question which you all probably have guessed: What can I do so that this does not happen? I'd like to put some of my cd's on my ipod because I do like particular albums that is not necessarily available to download. Anyone who can help in bringing light to the situation would be great.

I'm not sure I understand you entirely, but you could put the CDs on the computer with a CD ROM drive and then boot that computer as a firewire drive to the computer without a CD ROM drive and then copy your music over.

  • Trouble transferring an app from computer to phone

downloaded an app on new Macbook Pro, click on install to my iPhone and then apply or sync but it does not download onto my iphone

You left out some caveats, so some of this may seem obvious, but just in case ...
You said "downloaded an app ...".  Presumably you mean you downloaded an iOS app into iTunes on your MacBook Pro.  Presumably, you use this MacBook Pro to sync to your iPhone.
The other thing is that the iPhone must be signed in using the same Apple ID and password you used to purchase the app on your Mac.  Check Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your iPhone to make sure that is the case.

  • Downloaded pics from computer to iPhone using iTunes, computer crashed, now I can't download the transferred pics off my iPhone to new computer

I Had my iPhone synced to a computer, I transferred some pics from computer to iPhone, computer then crashed. Now I can't transfer the transferred pics from my iPhone to another computer. How do I get these pics off my phone without losing them. Currently cannot update my phone because there isn't enough memory.

I know.  That is exactly what I addressed.    The iPhone is not a storage/backup device.
Have you failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer?
You can e-mail them to yourself.

  • How do I stop my Macbook Air from transferring your information from another computer?

Just purchased my Macbook Air. When I started it up, it asked if I wanted to tranfer information from my other computer. the first thing it started to download was the music and it suddenly froze when it had a 1hr and 46 mins left and now I can escape out of it. It is the only thing that is on my screen. I ended the transfer on my PC but it wont clear out on my Macbook Air. Is there a way to restart the computer so it will retry the tranfer without the music?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Hold the Power button until the Mac turns off, and turn it on again.
Instead of transferring your files from another computer through the network, copy your data from your old PC or Mac to an external drive, connect the external drive to your MacBook Air and transfer your files

  • I Have a Ipod Classic that all my music is on. After my previous computer crashed I have not had any of my music able to be transfered to the new computer from the Ipod. Is there a way to do this

I Have a Ipod Classic that all my music is on.
After my previous computer crashed I have not had any of my music able to be transfered to the new computer from the Ipod.
Is there a way to do this?

Unfortunately, unless you have a backup and can restore the iTunes library to the new computer, you are stuck with the current state of the iPod. This is one of those things that makes doing backups so important.
Unless your music is all purchased from iTunes (not from your own CD's that you imported into iTunes and then downloaded to the iPod), you will be able to re-download all your iTunes store music back to the iPod when you install iTunes on the new computer. When you first attach the iPod to the new computer and new iTunes the first time it will tell you that this iPod is synced with another iTunes library and let you initialize the iPod (which will erase everything on the iPod - so don't do this unless you don't care about the stuff on the iPod now).
I've seen 3rd party apps in the past that will let you copy music/content from iPod to computer and bypass iTunes, but not sure if they still exist as this was several years ago.
    good luck

I have a similar problem.  I recieved an IPAD for my birthday, and my daughter updated my itunes library so i can use it with the ipad...and somehow all my songs (unpurchased from itunes, and downloaded  from a large collection of CDs) ...and play lists were deleted.   I still have them on my old ipod, and wonder how to get them back onto my computer so I can redistribute some of them to the ipad.  I must be getting too old for this tech stuff, it gets less user friendly every year.

  • My macbook was stolen last month from my car. It would not power, it showed a white screen with folder with question mark in the middle? I don't have my serial number, is there a way to possibly track my computer?

My car was broken into in Uptown, MN last month and my Macbook was stolen along with my Wifi device. Although my computer would no longer power, it showed a white screen with a folder and question in the middle and then shut down. I hadn't had a chance to take it to have it checked, but is there a way to track my computer if I do not have the serial number? And if I purchase another computer is there a way to get the music that I purchased in iTunes back?
    Thanks

Regarding your music, yes you can download it again at no cost. Launch iTunes on the new computer, and sign in to your account using the same Apple ID you used previously. Go to the iTunes Store. On the right side under Quick Links select Purchased. Click on All Songs in the upper left. You'll see a list of the music you purchased from iTunes. In the lower right corner click the Download All link. Note that this may take a long time, particularly if you have a lot of songs. Use the fastest Internet connection that you can.
About the computer, unless tracking software was already installed on it and turned on there is no way to track it.
I would suggest changing passwords of any accounts that you have on the computer, such as email. If you have any credit card information stored on the computer, have them cancelled and replaced immediately.
Sorry to hear about your loss. It is very distressing, I know.
    Best of luck.

    video transfer from computer
Video transfer from computer to new ipad (ret disp) shows transfering process, but it's not in video or movie  . ...Where'd it go ? sync automatically downloaded some -  but was a bit prejudiced and selective with content mainly all edited by me in Moviemaker (windows 7, probably the reason)
I use technology since neanderthals roamed the planet . ....don't quite understand  all the nuances  . .. .So, my all things "i" (apple/mac) guru has arranged a meeting,    and I'm impatient.  I know some of my videos are in several formats, etc... and I don't quite understand the differences . ...to me, it's complicated, as Alec Baldwin would say.
Unfortunately, I'm "late" to the game metaphoricaly ( windows vs apple/mac ). I have a couple ipods and actually endorse the ijet remote device (Co. from San Diego). I have pro tools and other hi tech gear in the pro keyboards/sequencing arena where I've been writing computer music since 80's and it's evolution.

The Apple video app is very limited in what it will play. If you have multiple video formats and if they will play on an iPad, then you likely need a 3rd party vidoe app. One such is BUZZPlayer which is available in the iTunes App Store on a Mac or PC or from the App Store app on an iOS device.
You transfer the videos to 3rd party video apps using iOS File Sharing.
