Transferring DW license from crashed computer

My old iMac's hard-drive crashed and the folks at the Apple
store were only able to get our pictures and videos off the old
machine. We bought a new iMac and I tried re-installing DreamWeaver
MX 2004 on the new machine and the installation is successful;
however, it won't open. I looked up the problem online and it says
I needed to transfer the license from the old iMac to the new iMac
in order for the program to work. Which is not possible ... as the
hard-drive crashed and I obviously couldn't do this. Adobe support
will not help on the matter because there is a newer version out
(what horrible customer support!). So, does anyone know how to
transfer the license from a crashed computer? Or have any other
suggestion besides buying the stupid software AGAIN!?

In the activation screen (when the program won't activate),
look for the
button "more activation options" (or something like that).
Find the option
to "activate by telephone" and call the number.
I *just* had that exact same experience -- hard crash, new
machine, couldn't
de-activate on the old machine, and couldn't activate on the
new machine
because I had reached the limit on number of activations.
I called the number, and I reached a nice Indian gentleman
who gave me an
authorization number to plug in, and I was back up and
running.
This was yesterday, so my information is very current.
Actually, it was
about 10pm last night (eastern time), so you don't even have
to call during
any particular business hours.

How do I stop my Macbook Air from transferring your information from another computer?

Just purchased my Macbook Air. When I started it up, it asked if I wanted to tranfer information from my other computer. the first thing it started to download was the music and it suddenly froze when it had a 1hr and 46 mins left and now I can escape out of it. It is the only thing that is on my screen. I ended the transfer on my PC but it wont clear out on my Macbook Air. Is there a way to restart the computer so it will retry the tranfer without the music?

Instead of transferring your files from another computer through the network, copy your data from your old PC or Mac to an external drive, connect the external drive to your MacBook Air and transfer your files

The old computer died so a new one was built. I have the retail Windows 7 license from the dead hardware, will the license automatically transfer to the new machine if I install Win7 from that DVD and use that serial number?

Yes, the only issue is activation. Depending on when it was last done, online activation may just sail through. If not, there should be no problem activating by phone. As long as it is really a retail version and being used on only one computer, you won't
have any problem.

I don't know about transferring a license as I have never seen that. What you need to do is authorize the new computer in iTunes. Start iTunes on the PC and go to Store>Authorize this computer - from the iTunes menu at the top.
If you only have the old computer authorized for iTunes, you really don't need to deauthorize it yet. You can have up to 5 computers authorized at a time with the same Apple ID.
Next, you need to Transfer purchases from the iPad to the new PC, backup the iPad, restore from the backup and then sync with iTunes. Any content that was not purchased from iTunes will have to be transferred to the iTunes library by using a third party app. TouchCopy is supposed to be a very reliable app for that purpose.
Read this discussion for detailed instructions on how to sync to a new computer. You need to do it this way since you can't copy the old iTunes library to the new computer.

Contact NI with the license number and ask if they can deactivate it from the computer.

I am having problems trasferring my itunes library from my PC to my laptop. I transferred all the downloaded music, "MY MUSIC" from one computer to the other, and the laptop's itunes picked those songs up. I'm not sure you can assign keywords to a movie on export, as these are written to the exif metadata of a photo and most video has no such metadata.
You say you've tried the export function in iPhoto, but what settings have you used? Exporting with the Kind set to Original should yield the videos.

You don't have to transfer it. But you can deactivate it on the old machine if it is still possible so that you retain the option for a second machine activation.
Adobe allows you to install/activate on two machines, so you can just install on the new machine as long as you have the second activation still available.

Are using disk mode? Probably yes.
Well, do this:
First disable disk use, unchecking the box "Enable Disk Use". The sync all your library using the "normal" mode.
Connect the iPod to the new computer and message will appear, informing that the iPod is synced with a different computer.

If you have a Mac with iPhoto, plug the iPhone in and open iPhoto. Choose to import the photos. Once they have been imported, there should be an option to "Remove Imported Photos from Device". Choose this.

Transferring One Album From My Computer To My iPhone

I have an iPhone 5 and am using the Cloud for backup. I recently bought a CD and put it in my computer's iTunes. Then I tried to sync it to my iPhone, just that one album. I was told that my iPhone was synced with another device. How do I tell which one that is? Is it iCloud? If so, then how could I get the CD music from my computer to the iPhone. I have tried everything I can think of but keep on only coming up with a result which appears that it will wipe out my music collection when the iPhone syncs with my computer (which has about 3 songs and that CD in it for music). I might have to do that and then backup from the iCloud, but that seems like a very long way around the barn just to put one

You can transfer your purchases from the store to another computer.
Copy the /My music/*iTunes folder* from one computer to the other.
