Transferring music from phone to phone
I apologize if this has been previously answered, I've never been on here. I had an original iPhone, and all of my music is on that phone. I got a 3GS about a year ago, and whenever i got that, i plugged it into my friends computer to get his music, becuase the laptop that had all of my old music on it has fried. i have restored my new phone so there is no music on it. My question is, how do i get my music from my old phone, into my itunes on my new computer, then onto my new phone. If it's possible at all. Thanks.
No.
The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases, as described earlier.
You should move music from the old computer/drive ( backup of the old computer/drive) to the new one.

Can I ask why you would want to move them from the card ?
The phone MEM is mainly for your contacts, messages and so on...
the phone has a poor memory capacity, and so needs any music keeping on the memory card, only the supplied memory card is not too great either and will hold only about 20 tracks, so may need upgrading. -
My computers harddrive crashed and I had a new one put into my computer. I want to move my music from my i phone 5 to my computer but when I start to sync my music i tunes says that it is going to clear out the music on my phone. How can I get my music to my computer?
Hey there Noles Labelle,
It sounds like you have media on your phone that you want to transfer to your computer from your phone. You can transfer your iTunes Store purchases from your device to the computer with this article:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1848
If you want to transfer iTunes Store purchases from an iOS device or iPod to a computer, be sure to authorize the computer before connecting the device. To authorize, follow these steps:
Open iTunes.
From the Store menu, choose Authorize Computer.
In the dialog that appears, the Apple ID button is selected by default.
Enter your Apple ID and password, then click the Authorize button.
If the iTunes Store purchases on your device were purchased with multiple accounts, you will need to authorize the computer for each one.To transfer iTunes Store purchases from your device to a computer, follow these steps:
Connect your device to the computer. If it is synced with another iTunes library, the following dialog may appear:-
Click the Transfer Purchases button.
Important: Clicking Erase and Sync will delete any existing content currently on your device. The content will be replaced with whatever existing content is in the current iTunes library your device is connected to. If there is no content in the iTunes library, nothing will be synced to your device, and your device will be empty.
If you had content from sources other than iTunes that had been synced to your phone before, those will have to be re imported to iTunes from a backup with the following article if you have one:
iTunes: About the Add to Library, Import, and Convert functions
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1347
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
Cheers,

When transferring music from iTunes to iPhone after about 3 downloads a message come up saying iTunes cannot get information from phone and I should restore phone to factory settings I do not wont to do this because I am worried I will loose all phone contacts ,pictures, and songs anyone know how I can resolve this
Not a good idea to depend on an iPhone or any cell phone alone for such important data, which can be lost or stolen or damaged beyond repair.
Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book app on your computer and/or there are a number of free email accounts that support syncing contacts and other data over the air such as with an Apple iCloud account, Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail.
Photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.
In addition, contacts and photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll are included with the iPhone's backup. -
How do you transfer music from one I-phone to another
I'm trying to transfer some music from my I-phone 3gs to my buddies I-phone 4. Can it be done?
No, and in fact that's called stealing, plain & simple. Your software license for the music on your phone does not permit this.

Hi i want to upload my music from my i-phone to i-tunes so i can then transfer to my new samsung phone. However my i-tunes is linked to another computer which i no longer have. PLEASE HELP!!!
The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

I bought a new mac and my music in itunes didn't transfer over from my old cpu. Most of it was put on with cd's I have. Can I transfer the music from my I-phone to itunes on my mac?
It sounds like there's something amiss with either your ID or the new system you're using. I've been using iTM on a Win7 and OSX SL system and have been able to upload and download to the Cloud on both. I've been using them interchangeably for the last week or so.
I would also recommennd giving Apple support a call, to see what they say. -
My computer crashed and I lost everything. How do I get my music from my I-phone 4S back on itunes?
That's what backups are for. Use Time Machine. It's free and external drives are cheap. To recover your iPhone's content requires the use of third party utilities. Success is not guaranteed. Read:

How can I transfer all my downloaded music from my I phone to my computer, even music that is not purchased but is from CDs
There's some third party applications available for recovering content off an iPod, iPhone or iPad. The following article is pretty old (2008) so it would be best to reality-check the capabilities and availability of the various listed items prior to opting for a particular product:

Moving music from my i phone to my laptop?
I am trying to move music from my i phone to i tunes on my laptop but I used to have my phone synced with my old laptop and it's saying that i will have to erase my i phone music. Is tere another way to move or sync all the music to my laptop? Thanks
Requires third-party software, like this, to extract the music from your phone:

iTunes purchased music you can simply re-download. Anything else will have to be extracted. -

i have switched the sim card from one iphone to a different one, and i added my music from my old phone to the used one, now the old music on the used phone won't delete. im really frustrated and annoyed please help
Do you just want to delete the music or wipe the whole phone since you've switched to the other one?
If you plug the old iPhone into your computer you can remove stuff via iTunes or remove stuff directly from the iPhone too. -
Need simple instructions on transfering photos from Samsung Gusto phone to computer.
Need simple instructions on transferring photos from Samsung Gusto phone to my PC.
smcolvin, happy to help with getting those pictures transferred. As the Samsung Gusto does not have the mass storage functionality, this requires a out of the box solution. You can send the pictures as a picture message and place your email address in the "to" field. Open your email inbox on your computer, open the messages and then download the images to the computer (usually right click and "save as").
Alternatively, you can send the pictures to the online album and access them there. To send to the online album from your phone, press the left soft key. Message>New Message>Picture message. At the "New Picture Msg" screen, press the Right Soft Key and add "To Online Album." Select "Send." On your computer launch your web browser and log into MyVerizon at verizonwireless.com and then go to vzwpix.com .

How do i load music from itunes on phone to my computer
how do i load music from itunes on phone to my computer
Please help
SusannahYou can copy iTunes purchased music from your phone to your computer's iTunes library via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option.
To copy back non-iTunes music (e.g. music copied from CDs and synced to the phone) you will need a third-party program on your computer - there are some listed half-way down this page : Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device -
I cannot get my music from ON THIS PHONE to my music library.
I cannot get my music from ON THIS PHONE to my music library. There is a dotted circle next to most of the songs, but I cannot do anything to or with them. How do I get this music to my library? The songs show in iTunes under ON THIS iPHONE, but they are not coming up on my iPhone or library.

Maybe if you provide some details ... Does the download start? Does the download not start at all? Does it start and stall? Are you getting the waiting icon?
Why don't you explain what happens when you try to update the app?
