Transferring Notes and Tasks

Just got my Droid Incredible and used HTC Sync to get my calendar and contacts from my company's Outlook system. So far, so good. But what about Outlook notes and tasks? Is there some way to get these transferred over?

Yes the best way is to just type outlook into the search bar in the android market. A few I found that work are: gTasks, Astrid, Touchdown, and also companion link. Hope this helps.

When the phone is connected to the computer in iTunes, go to the Info tab and select Outlook as the source for Contacts and Calendars. Tasks will not sync, but Notes can be selected to sync as well.

Notes and tasks have disappeared

i had preoblems with my curve 8520 last night resulting me to reinstall the OS. I luckily used blackberry protect to back everything up. However all of the games have disapeared that came with the phone originaly and the notes and task apps have disappeared. I am not too worried about the games but I had a large amount of notes and tasks that I need to get back is there anyone who can help???

Look for you notes app as Memos on the device.
If you don't see it...
1. On your homescreen, press the Menu key > SHOW ALL, so that SHOW ALL is checked.

please fix the q10 so it can sync outlook notes and tasks - a very important feature!

Does notes and tasks sync from Exchnage mail account to Iphone? what ios version is required for this and are there any sync restrictions - only one way and so on?

No, can't be done and No, there are no apps that can do this (by Apple's decree).

Q10 - Are we will still expecting progress on fuctionality or not (eg Notes and Tasks to be synchronizing)?

Synchronizing with Outlook is now possible (at least in theory) through a USB cable, or wirelesly - great.
However, it seems that (at least for now) this is limited to contacts and agenda.
In my opinion - these are the most important, but we are still hoping for Notes and Tasks to become "synchronizable"
In the end, the objective is get a portable version of Outlook on the Q10 device, coupled with telephone service.
Then, if the device can also do other things, that is great.
But Internet, facaebook, twitter, camera, music, ganes, etc - that is not important - leave that for later and lets sort out the key functionality first.
If BBY does not agree with this, or does not intend to actually generate a better version of its previous devices, but create an iBerry, then PLEASE say so, so those of us who are not interested in an iBerry can go and get the Porsch phone - IT IS AWESOME!

iBerry fits it well, although the iPhone or Android is better suited for playing around a little. For business purposes, the Q10 is unusable. I will be sticking to my Bold 990 and return the Q10 to the vendor.

Syncing Notes and Tasks New Iphone operating system

Will the new operating system for the iphone allow syncing of notes and tasks from entourage

Apple stated that syncing of Notes will be supported; nothing was said about To-Do's, and they did not specifically address whether Entourage Notes/Tasks will be supported, so you'll most likely need to wait until 3.0 is released for a definitive answer.

Why does Apple not support syncing Entourage Notes and Tasks with the iPhone?

I'd like to know why Apply syncing does not support notes and task syncing with the iPhone. It used to when I had a Balckberry and used a third party sync app.
I bought the iPhone (4S) thinking that syncing would be smoother and have less problems than I was having with the Blackberry and third party sync software. Are there any plans to support this?

Syncing contacts, notes and tasks between iphone and Macbook

I have an iphone 4 and a brand new MacBook Pro and I understand how to sync contacts between the two and with my gmail contacts, however there are still some contacts on my phone that are not on my MacBook. I would like to know how I can keep my contacts up to date on both my iphone and Macbook without having to manually enter contacts from one to the other, ex: if I delete a contact on my phone, I want it to be deleted on my Macbook too. Is there a way to do this? Also is there a way to do the same thing with notes and tasks; between the iphone and macbook???

How can apple provide the notes and reminders function in both mountain lion os and ios 6 without a direct wireless sync?

Plug the device into the computer and sync via iTunes.
Sync via Wi-Fi to the computer and iTunes.
Or sync via iCloud.
Reading the User's Guide would have saved the embarassment of asking a stupid question.

Mac Calendar, Notes, and Tasks not syncing with Blackberry Bold

I recently purchased a Macbook Pro with out of the box with OS X Mountain Lion Installed. Downloaded and installed the latest version of the Blackberry Desktop Software. Quickly realized that I am unable the sync the Mac Address Book with my BlackBerry Bold 9930 while the iCloud is enabled. Once disabled, the my Address Book syncs like it used to.
Calendars, however, are not syncing. I have tried several ways, including disableing the iCloud and creating New Calendars both "On My Mac" as well as "On iCloud" without success. The error is as follows:
"There are no writable calendars available for syncing on this computer."
I am confident that once the solution to the writable calendars is found it will automatically resolve the syncing of Tasks too. Please advise how I can solve this problem.
Secondly, I noticed that Mountain Lion comes equipped with an independent Notes App. Initially I thought this to be a really cool new feature of Mountain Lion when compared to my previous experiences with Snow Leopard. For simplicity, I initially deleted all my old notes from the BlackBerry and transfered the notes files which were backed up from my previous MacBook Pro to the BlackBerry. The tranfer occured without a hitch. A few days later, I realized that eventhough my notes were syncing without a hitch, my edits were not being saved. I.e. edits made on the Mac were not syncing forward to the BlackBerry and vice versa. So I lost some content. When trying to trouble shoot the problem I realized that the Desktop Software was programed to sync with "Apple Mail Notes" on the Mac, and not the Notes App. So bascially, the notes were syncing from the wrong source and everytime I synced them, the notes on the Blackberry were being replaced by the original notes that I had moved over from my Old Mac. How can I re-set/re-program the Desktop software to sync with the notes in the Notes app? Or, where can I access these "Apple Mail Notes" So that I can make edits and add/delete notes so that they sync accurately?

Doesn't look like there's a way to sync BlackBerry MemoPad memos with Apple Notes.
Apparently Apple's Notes app doesn't talk to Apple's Sync Services (older versions of Apple Mail do) - BlackBerry Desktop talks to the Apple apps using Sync Services. Sadly Notes still isn't playing nice, so BlackBerry can't sync notes.
p.s. Microsoft Outlook 2011 DOES talk to Sync Services, but it only syncs my memo headers, and no text. *curls into ball*

No, the camera connection kit only supports the copying of photos and videos to the Photos app, it doesn't support copying content off the iPad. For your second camera instead of the SD reader part of the kit, does the iPad to camera cable not work with it for direct transfer to the iPad ?
For Lightroom and Nikon software again no - you can only install apps that are available in the iTunes app store on your computer and the App Store app on the iPad, 'normal' PC and Mac (OS X) software are not compatible with the iPad (iOS). There are some apps that perform fairly basic editing functions that are available in the store, but nothing as sophisticated as, for example, Lightroom.

Syncable Notes and Tasks

I am new user to Iphone from a windows phone - on my wondows phone I could sync my tasks and my notes with outlook on my exchange server. Calenadar and mail works great but nothing on the others.
Suggestions - I would sure prefer not to have to keep two sets of to dos and notes
