Transferring number to new property but don't need...

Can anyone advise please.  We have a second line which we want to take with us to our new house, but we don't want to activate until we have our home office studio set up in the garden.  This will be approx 6 weeks after we move in.  Do we ask the BT engineer to install the second line anyway (presumably this is cheaper than stopping completely and starting again), but leave the cable at the house, to be extended to the home office at the bottom of the garden in due course?

I would move them both together and can get the second line terminated in the house, on a separate box, then run your own external extension to the garden, when you are ready.
This would be done by connecting it to the front removable part of the master socket.
It would probably cheaper that way as there would be no external work for Openreach to do.
It would also allow you to test the line from the house, before you connect it up to the studio, and also isolate it, should a fault occur in the external extension.

    In this complicated case, I think it's important that you get your work in.
    The Photography Plan includes Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC. Open an account with them and for $10 a month you can be back in business which I think nets you more than $10. It's what I do. You can do this immediately. You get two seats and they can be either Mac or PC.
    In your spare time you can sort out the license issue and cancel the plan later on if this is fixed.
    If you don't want to go there, then you will have to call Customer Service by phone and hope they can fix this.

    I find that the  easiest way to change the account you are using on your mobile device is to scroll down to the bottom of the iTunes Store or App Store on the device and tap the Apple ID button. Then:
    - To sign out, or to sign in to a different account, tap the Sign Out button.
    - To sign back in, tap the Sign In button, then tap either Use Existing Apple ID or Create New Apple ID, and follow the on-screen instructions from there. I hope this helps.

    Before going further, I’d like to recommend you check if the address list is visible in OWA.
    If yes, this issue occurs when the AddressBookRoots attribute of the Microsoft Exchange object does not have the same distinguished name value that is set in the All Address Lists attribute.

    Text messages are included in your iPhone backup.  Before switching over to the new phone, back up the old one, then restore this backup to your new phone.  That will transfer text messages, along with other data and settings, as well as your apps and other purchased media.  More details here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2109.

    Is it possible to create multiple pages ready for publishing but only publish selected ones today?
    To clarify if I create 10 pages today but don't want to publish them all today, 5 today 5 tomorrow is there a way to publish them in stages? The publish selection only has the options of publish 'all  or publish 'modified'.

    I have just purchased a new computer. Some time age I purchased Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 package which includes the disc. Since them I upgraded to 4 online without the disc .How do I upload without the dosc, I have the serial number for version 4 and have been using it on my old computer.

    You will need both License Keys the Lightroom 4 upgrade key and the Lightroom 3 key. You can download the latest LR 4.4.1 from the site below. Just make sure you get the appropriate one for your operating system.

    Install then you first enter the LR 4 upgrade serial number and then the LR 3 serial number when prompted.

    Also, do I need the original discs to download the software on my new computer, or am I able to just drag and drop the applications onto a thumb drive and transfer them that way?

    Just one advise, CS4 is not compatible with MAC MAVERICK . So there might be problem in using the application on the new version of MAC.
    Also copying from a flash drive will not work, you have to install it on the computer.
    And yes, You can upgrade to the CC 2014 and is is not necessary to install the application to upgrade. But to get it on discounted price, you must own the previous version.

    You can click on the above link, login with Adobe ID and password and if you have registered the Serial number, you will get there.
    You will not be able to get it from with in the application.

    Besides having to install/restore on another computer before I could actually do anything... I've now FINALLY got my iPhone 3G working again BUT I don't have any of the new features that come with the iOS4 update except for the folders feature. How do I fix this?

    A lot of the updates (wallpaper, multitasking) sadly weren't released for the 3G due to Apple not being satisfied with the performance on the 3G's slower hardware.

    So I'm getting a new HDTV soon, and I want to connect my ps3 and xbox 360 to it. I'm getting the LG 47LH90 (47" 1080p 240 Hz) and I'm getting the Monster Cable HDMI 114013-00
    (THX 1000)  for my ps3 to play movies and such. Thing is, I also want to try Halo 3 online on the TV (I've heard playing Halo on bigger TV's is bad for your aim but I at least want to try).
    So my question is will this HDMI cable I'm getting give me any screen lag while trying to play Halo? (Yes, I have an elite so the 360 has an HDMI port) I've heard people say that VGA cables are also good but if this HDMI cable I have works I want to know if I'll be able to use that so I don't have to buy another cable for nothing.     If you are gonna use an HDTV, you will have to accept lag. Your best bet is to go with a 60hz LCD or plasma, which you can easily still get. None of that 120hz nonsense. But, what you can do is get any ole HDTV and use the Microsoft VGA cable instead of the HDMI. That will do a lot to reduce your lag to the minimal amount because HDTVs don't use image processing on VGA signals and the newer TVs actually support full 1080p over VGA. Your milage will vary though and you should check the manual of any TV you are considering in order to see what resolutions it supports over VGA so you don't make a blind-buy of the wrong thing.
