How do I transfer photo's from Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 back to my documents

Sure have colin and everytime I try something to get them out of there it just does a search and comes up zero, they were originally deleted by accident, stupid programme I noticed on other posts I am not in the same boat thanks for your help anyway

my macbook harddrive crashed and there were some photos on my iphone that werent backed up. i tried to import them onto the new hard drive but it wouldnt allow me to import some of them. i went to iphoto and said "import all" but it told me not all the photos could be synced and now when i tried again they just didnt show up at all in iphoto but theyre still on my phone. im hoping that i dont have to resort to emailing every picture to myself and acessing them that way from my computer but i dont know what else to do! can anyone help me??

The hard drive on this computer crashed, as in replacement with another hard drive was required?
Or did this crash require the hard drive being reformatted prior to performing an erase and install or a re-install or OS X and all apps?
Either way, your prospects are good.
When a hard drive has not been reformatted, it is usually possible to recover data that was deleted from the hard drive as long as the area on the hard drive where this data had been stored has not been overwritten since the data was deleted.
Stop using the computer or computer's hard drive followed by using a data recovery utility on the hard drive ASAP are important - the sooner the better.
If your hard drive was reformatted after the crash, your chances for recovering this data are greatly reduced if not impossible.
Backup, backup, backup - always maintain a regular backup of all your important data stored on an external drive used for backup purposes only.

Transferring Photos Back To My PC??

I previously uploaded a folder containing photos from my PC to my iphone, it is there when I click on the 'sunflower icon' on my iphone. I would now like to transfer back this file to my PC, is this possible, I am not having any joy with the team at 'Technical Support' I think they are more adverse to helping issues for customers who have apple mac computers, and not 'Microsoft'.

It works the same on my XP Pro SP 3 laptop... when you plug in the iPhone, it shows up as an external USB device and Windoze asks what you want to do.. you can browse to it, or load photos into the (default) imaging software... I usually just cancel, browse to it and copy the photos to a folder on my desktop... The photo 'area', is the only thing you can see on the iPhone from the PC....hope it works for you.

I'm not at a Mac right now so am doing this blind but in the iPhoto library (or was it iTunes?) there are low-res of photos ready for copying to the iPod. If you navigate to Macintosh HD > Users > {yourname} > Photos > iPhoto Libary > Right click on it and choose "Show Package Contents". Not sure if you can actually recover the images from there though.

I see how I can store the latter -- but not the former. And I don't care whether it's to the cloud or to a hard drive, etc.

If you are using iCloud, you don't need to back up these items because they are synced with your iCloud account.

When photos are added to the photo stream album on a device (either due to a new photo having been taken or having been synced from another device using the stream) they remain in the album. However, the syncing process involves copying the photos to the photo stream server where they are kept for a maximum of 30 days, up to 1000 photos. If a device is reset or the stream is turned off or turned back on again (or in your case, the device was repaired), the photos that were on the device's photo stream album are gone and the only ones to appear are those that are currently on the servers (recall the 30 day limit).
If some of your photos are older than 30 days, then they are no longer stored on the cloud and hence are not synced down to the iphone.
Recall, photo stream is just a syncing service, it is not designed as a storage service for photos. Always sync photos to a computer for archiving.

I just purchased an iPhone, I was using my iPod touch 4generation to send pictures to my new phone. Everything was working perfectly. This morning as well I used my iPod to listen to music. By the end of the night I hit the home button on my iPod only to see it on the start up page (the one when you first activate your iPod) Is there any way I can get those photos back From my iPod some how! I do now have iCloud nor did I save anything to iTunes cause they were just photos on my iPod. Help please..

- If they are in an iPod backup then restore from that backup. Go to iTunes>Preverences>Version and look to see if y have a bavkup of the iPod. See the restore topic of:

If you didn't back them up, and you no longer have the phone they were on, then they are gone.

Can't open transferred photos in camera roll

I transferred photos from my old 4s to 5s using backup/restore but although I can see the transferred photos as thumbnails in camera roll, I can't open them or do anything with them. The photo simply opens for a second then disappears. This only happens with transferred photos not those taken with the 5s. Any suggestions?

I am having the same thing as well. I click the photos app, I try view the photos I have taken, it just closed out of the photos app and goes straight back to the home screen. There is another way to see the photos you have taken. You click on the camera, then you click on the photos on the bottom left corner, it works for me. I can see all the pictures I have taken.

A lot of I should haves. I had too many photos and while at work I opened up the 4 folders inside of the DCIM folder on my phone. I didn't think it would be a big deal to just cut the photos and paste on my computer as I have done this before. i moved one folder that had 803 pictures in it and all was fine. I ran out of time and unplugged phone and went home. When I got to work this morning I was looking at my phone and realized I only had 34 pictures. I knew there should have been 400+ there and they are gone. Don't know what happened and if they were deleted off phone or computer I cannot see them anywhere. You don't - not without a paid 3rd party utility.
All photos transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync/transfer process are optimized for viewing on the iPhone - the original resolution is reduced, which is why transferring these photos in the opposite direction is not supported.
Transfer the photos from your previous computer to your new computer from your computer's backup along with all other important data.

I'd like to share some information on transferring photos from an old Droid to iPhone 5, a problem I've wrestled with for the last few days. Even though I got some good tips, and have learned that I'm not the only person with this particular problem, I still had no success making the transfer. In desperation (thinking I'd get no help) I called 1-800-734-5870, the Motorola help line. Was bumped up to "level 2" of problem-solving and was told that a possible solution might be to use a USB connector cord specifically made for Motorola phones (I'm not sure the one I've been using is that type). The rep is sending me a courtesy cord to use to see if that will make a difference -- if no, t I'm supposed to call Motorola back. My point is that the Motorola people were exceptionally nice, especially considering I'll no longer be using their phone. I did not get this type of support from the Apple help line. Will send an update if this simple "cord fix" works!

Thanks for the prompt reply, Roaminggnome. I have to say, though, that the answer, while not unexpected, is disappointing. The iPhone is, like the iPad, a data storage device as well as a cellular phone. One can store and retrieve music, contacts, documents, presentations in Keynote, videos, podcasts, and a host of things on it. And one can also store photos, which can be transferred from a digital camera or media card via a computer or iCloud. So why, one has to wonder, would Apple not provide an alternative, and more direct, way to upload pictures from a camera without requiring the intermediary of a computer, as it does with the iPad? But I guess that's what we're stuck with. Puzzling, for a company as innovative as Apple. Surely they know that folks are asking these questions.

I have several thousand photos in several folders. I have noticed that whenever I want to change the folder used as the side show source, it takes the Screen Saver Preference pane a very long time to respond. It is as if it is scanning all the photos in the currently assigned folder in order to display them in the preview window provided, and it gets so dogged down doing that it can't respond to my clicks on the Choose Folder option.
Assuming you don't want to redistribute your photos into a greater number of folders or subfolders so there would be fewer in each folder to process, you could try a workaround. Try moving your currently-assigned folder to your desktop temporarily, before opening the Screen Saver preference pane. If the preference pane can't find the old folder, it may immediately ask you to choose a new one. You could hopefully then do so, close the preference pane, and then put back the old folder.
It's my understanding that there will be no future updates to Tiger, only security fixes.

Often when plugging a device into a computer (which has not been discussed if this has ever happened) one will be given the auto play option of transferring photos/data from the mobile device to the computer. Did you ever transfer the photos from your device to a computer?
