    > Look in your User/Library/Application Support/iPhoto folder for a Themes folder. If you find it there move it to the HD/Library/Application Support/iPhoto folder and reboot. Then try iPhoto again. That may save you having to go thru the reinstallation.

  • Photo Editing Error Messages Using Actions in PSE8

Hello I am currently using pse8 to edit photos and I recently installed a few actions. My actions are in my photo effects folder and I can clearly see them, however when I try to use them it gives me error messages such as "could not complete action as part of a program error", "the command color balance is not currently available" and "the command make is not currently available".
    Please help.

Any time you see "the command Make is not currently available", it generally means there's a step in the action that PSE doesn't understand. Not all photoshop actions are fully compatible with PSE--are you sure these actions work in Elements? And they need to be compatible with PS CS4, which is the underlying code for PSE 8.

  • When sycning photos get error message: can't sync file not found

Trying to sync my wife's new 3gs to my macbook Pro.  Never had any problems syncing my phone. With hers I can sync everything but photos. I get an error message saying can't sync file not found.  I have no idea what file it is looking for or whether it is missing from the phone or my computer.

Thanks so much. The file path wasn't exactly the same as the link said, but it was close enough that I found it in a few minutes. Trashed the ipod cache as instructed, and now all my iphones and ipods have synced photos. Thanks again, would have never found that file on my own.

  • Can't order photos! ERROR MESSAGE: Your account information has changed.

I can't order prints from iPhoto. It keeps saying...
*Your account information has been changed.*
Please review your billing information and approve it.
What is wrong? What do they expect me to "review" that I haven't reviewed already? I've checked EVERYTHING on my account at least 10 times either through apple's website, iTunes app, and iPhoto app. Everything is 100% accurate on my account -- address, credit card number, verification code, EVERYTHING.
I've logged out of my account, flushed the browser cache, restarted my Mac, and done everything over again. I can't even find a working solution to this problem anywhere on this site nor even Google! VERY FRUSTRATED HERE.

Well, it's the stupidest thing! Why they can't give an error message that's meaningful is beyond me because I'd be hard-pressed to say that I'm the only one that's had this problem.
From iPhoto, you must click the Account Info button and sign in to your account.
Then you MUST edit your Billing Information. <-that is the stupid part.
It does not matter if you've edited and double-checked your info on Apple's website. iPhoto turns your credit card number into a bunch of XX's and deletes the security code so that pretty much defeats the purpose of Apple "storing" your credit card info for easy ordering. You must re-enter all your info through iPhoto before it lets you place an order. Ridiculous!

  • PSE 5.0 Photo edit error message when attempting to save edits.

After attempting to save photo edits with PSE 5.0, I get the message box "could not complete your request because of a program error."  I have completed the task for a few years successfully and suddenly this glitch. These edits are basic fixes to shadows and contrast for my son's school trips and I dont want to save multiple copies, just replace original files, no heavy duty layer work.  I am using Vista and have not had this problem in the past.  I tried exiting the program a few times and started over, but same message box.
    Thank you Andy

  • Preference Error Message

Anyone know where I can find this and what I need to do to fix it? Whenever I open system preferences I get dozens of these messages -
12/24/14 7:40:57.967 PM com.apple.preference.universalaccess.remoteservice[949]: CGContextRestoreGState: invalid context 0x0. This is a serious error. This application, or a library it uses, is using an invalid context  and is thereby contributing to an overall degradation of system stability and reliability. This notice is a courtesy: please fix this problem. It will become a fatal error in an upcoming update.
This has been happening for the last few weeks. Long story short, I upgraded to Yosemite, then did erase and reinstall twice. Ended up needing to use TM to restore back to a date in Aug (which was the backup that actually had all of my files). This TM restore put me back in Mavericks. The 2nd Yosemite erase and reinstall created a 2nd user on its own, titled the same as mine, but placed a 1 after the name. Also created a deleted user folder.Reverting back to Mavericks brought back my single user, but I've been having permission issues ever since.
I fixed a few things with shutdown stalls last week (Thanks Linc). With shutdown stalls gone I upgraded back to Yosemite last night. Today, I found in my Mac HD folders and files under Guest User (which I don't even have activated) folders and files that were not permission to me, but I am the only user and obviously the admin on the computer. (see attached picture). I unlocked all of those folders and files, add me to permissions and gave read/write. Only two folders actually had anything in them, tis preferences folder being one of them. I've not moved anything...but I don't know why stuff is in the folders if I've never set a Guest User up.
So thats the history, in short. Back to the message I pasted above - Anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

No, it's not "a bug".  Your preference file(s) just got corrupted.
Reinstalling without nuking the preferences is futile, as you end up right back where you started.
Preferences files vary by name and location for each version of Photoshop.
To re-create the preferences files for Photoshop, start the application while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
Note: If this process doesn't work for you while you're using a wireless (Bluetooth) keyboard, attach a wired keyboard and retry.

I have plenty if space on my hard drive for the partition.
What do I need to do to solve this problem? I'm completely stuck at this point.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
ok then. At least that rules out that my eyes gone bad
How is your internal harddisk organized ?
Do you have one single OSX volume on it, or is it partitioned ?
The mentioned 'Disk 1' and 'Disk 2' are irritating me, do you have any external harddisks connected and running ?
If so, disconnect them all and every other external device except mouse and keyboard when installing Vista.
Have you the BootCamp Assistant in OSX (folder Applications/Utilities) to partition your internal harddisk for installing Vista as per the BootCamp Installation Guide http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/

premier elements12, putting video clips (mov) in to edit work place time line after photos (jpeg) error message, the importer reported a generic error. ? please help.

    TINA54
    Thanks for the reply.
    Some general comments...
    Regarding:
THERE ANY WAY I CAN PUT MULTIPLE RANDUM TRANSITIONS IN TO THE TIME LINE WITH JUST ONE CLICK ? .
There is no transition choice for random transitions across the Premiere Elements 12 workspace Timeline. But, the Elements Organizer 12/Create Menu/Slideshow and its Slideshow Editor does have that random transition choice. So, one possibilitity would be to create your slideshow in Elements Organizer 12 Slideshow Editor and then move the slideshow into Premiere Elements with the Output of Edit with Premiere Elements Editor command.
Pending more details of the slideshow you are creating, I think that you would get your best photo quality and overall results staying with Premiere Elements 12 workspace (1080p) project and the transitions randomized manually.
perhaps applying the default to all (all at the same time),
    using Timeline Menu/Apply Default Transition,
and then replacing transitions randomly for the random transition look).
Please let us know if any of that worked for you.
    Thanks.

  • Canvio Basics 500GB - error message F:\ is not accessible

I have just bought this ext drive and have been happily transferring photos, suddenly this message appears:
'F:\ is not accessible. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable'
What does this mean? Is it dead already?

    Please check this!
Please also start the command prompt console (CMD) and type this:
    f:
    press enter
    dir
    press enter
Now you should get a list of data stored on the HDD.
    Does it work?
Thanks so much for your help Jeffrey, I have just used the error check on the ext hard drive and that seems to have fixed it, but I will note your fix in case of future problems.

  • Received an error message Mail server didn't recognize your user/passwork combination. How you I change my password to send the email?

Tried to send a photo, received error message The email server didn't recognize your user/password combination.  How do I correct the password?

Mail -> Preferences -> Accounts -> Account Information -> Password.  Tho' if it has been working in the past and suddenly you're getting this message without you having changed anything in your settings then it may be a problem at the server end.  If that's the case then leave it a few hours and try again.  If the problem persists after 24 hours then try changing your settings.

  • PC/Win 64bit/Creative Cloud " We are unable to load all your plans. Please try again" error message

I've just signed up with CC on my Win PC 7/64bit and when I log on to my Adobe account I get this error message, "We are unable to load all your plans & products. Please try again.
Just below it I get the correct:  Creative Cloud Membership/One Year
Any way to solve this error message?

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate the generic list of hardware/software/browser problems, but that's a lot to go through for what seems to be a simple problem. Not all of the info listed in your link applies to my problem, so I will provide only the info that is relevent.
    1. See attached photo of Error message found in Chrome Browser.
    2. I do not get the error using the FireFox browser.
    3. My hardware works with CC because I previously had a Cloud account for one year and all the software downloaded and worked perfectly.
    4. My system is Windows 7, 64bit with 12GB of Ram Memory. I have plenty of space on my 1TB C drive
    5. I am able to download CC software, but now when I open up an application (Premiere Pro, to be precise) it says it cannot verify my account.
    6. It appears that the issue isn't my hardware or operating system, but a problem with my online Adobe account which is paid for and listed (as you can see in the screenshot).
Can you help solve the problem?

  • Photoshop 5.0 error message

Why does an error message suddenly appear since I've been using that step for several years without a problem   Every time I try to save a scanned photo, an error message tells me that they are unable to complete due to a program error.  How can I correct this in order to save my photos?

Can you post the exact content of the error message, including the title of the error message box?  A screenshot would be best.

  • HP PSC 1600 All-In-One error message remove and replace color cartridge

I get the remove and replace color cartridge and printer or scanner won't work. I have replaced the cartridge with new ones twice and it still happens. Just installed a new HP color cartridge and no luck. I've tried everything I can think of.
Please, does anyone have any other suggestions????
    Thank you,
    Mary Jean Kelso

    Hi MJKEL,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having an issue with errors on the printer pertaining the ink cartridges.
I do have a few steps that we can try in the attempt to troubleshoot this issue.
First off, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
I have also located a documet that deals with A 'Remove and Check [color / black / photo] Cartridge' Error Message Displays on the Printer Control...
Please feel free to write me back if you have any other questions or concerns.
    Cheers,
