Transferring pictures from windows gallery to photoshop cs 5 how's it done

How do you do it?

Windows Gallery works just like windows Explorer it only points to the pictures folder. It is not a database. So the files do not need to be transfered at all. Just navigate photoshop or any other CS5 program to the pictures folder and work your way through the child folders.

I would guess that the printer preferences in Windows Gallery are set for either grayscale or black only. If it prints color from everywhere else, then it lies within Windows Gallery.

Problem transferring pictures from my camera memory card to my computer. When asked where to save them, it only gives me the option of saving to "Snapfish". There is no option to save the pictures to my computer???

I have a new HP Photosmart 7529e all in one. I put my memory card in the slot but the printer screen does not show my computer as a destination. I'm using Windows 7. Nothing at the computer end acknowlages that the card is in the printer slot. How do I transfer pictures from the card to the computer?

I Have PSE 8 for many years and never had an issue transferring pictures from my cellphone to PSE 8 until I upgraded a month ago to PSE 13. I didn't like this new version so I contacted customer service to cancell the recent upgrade. Then, I went bank to my PSE 8 and I can't transfer pictures from my iPhone to PSE 8. The USB works and I use windows.

I usually see this error reported when the iPhone connected has not been unlocked prior to being connected. Disconnect the phone from the computer. Unlock the phone with the passcode and make sure it is "awake" when you connect it to the computer. This seems to be a quirk under Windows 8.

Here’s my question,
I have a new HP Photosmart 7520e all in one. I put my memory card in the slot but the printer screen does not show my computer as a destination option. I'm using Windows 7. Nothing at the computer end acknowledges that the card is in the printer slot. The computer is wireless hook up. How do I transfer pictures from the card to the computer?

My computer does NOT have a card slot or I would have use it to start with. Next: This sentence doesn't make any sense to me. (youyr answer) "You can map the card to network drive but why you have to do that hard ?" I don't understand "maping net works".
All my previous (4) HP printers had card slots (as this one does) but when I put my card in the computer would read it and ask me if I was ready to import them and I picked the destination ... click on "import" and it happened. This one.. nothing happens on the computer but the printer screen gives me a choice of destinations (snapfish & usb cord) but does not offer an option of moving them to the computer. I am not see in iPhoto 09 pictures from mobileme gallery. in me iPhoto is Mobileme gallery and in this are various albums. But if I click to any album , that I am not see this pictures in this album and iPhoto say " Your mobileme account information as not correct-provided login is not valid " . This is a long shot but try this:
1 - go to your System/MobileMe preference pane and log out of your MMe account.
2 - try logging in with a bad user name and password to clear the caches.
3 - now log in with your correct user name and password.
4 - launch iPhoto, select your MMe galleries one at a time and click on the publish button
5 - check your online galleries to see if they can not be viewed.

Cannot add pictures from windows to ipad

In the past I have been able to add pictures from windows onto my Ipad. I cannot do that now. When I tried, picture albums that I had on are no longer there. I have tried everything I can think of to add these photos. I need help.

If you are saying that the pictures that were on the iPad have disappeared when you synced again, you have to include all photos albums to sync every time that you sync. You can sync multiple albums to the iPad but the albums all have to be in the same main photos folder from which you sync.

That definitely should show up! Let's get that working. Has anything changed with the computer? What type of phone do you have? Can we try a different USB port on the computer or if possible a different cable?

Transfering pictures from Droid Razor Memory Card to Macbook Pro Laptop!

I have a Droid Razor & I'm trying to transfer my pictures from my memory card to my Macbook Pro Laptop. It's not working. Can someone please help me nobody seems to know anything about how this is done through Apple or Verizon. I can transfer my pictures onto my Dell Desktop with no problem. I'm getting very frustrated. I knew I should have bought the IPHONE but Verizon talked me out of it! Please someone help me A.S.A.P.

Thanks Mike for getting back with me. I'm trying to uninstall VCast from my laptop now. Hope it works. I've had my Droid Razor just before Christmas, my husband bought it for me for a Christmas gift. Now when I slide the bar across to unlock the phone it goes real slow. I'm really not very happy with this phone at all, but I guess I'm stuck with it. What do you think as far as to which you think is the better phone the IPhone or Droid Razor. I'm having a hard time uninstalling VCast from my apple too. Thanks for following up Ann. When you plug in your RAZR, is VCast opening up on your laptop? If so, I suggest uninstalling it from the laptop so it does not interfere with what we're trying to do. When multiple programs are trying to read the same USB device, it causes conflicts. As far as the iPhone goes, if you're still within your 14-day exchange period, feel free to exchange the device for one that you want. Please keep me updated when you have the time. Transfering files from windows to linux

Hi,
My requirement is Client will select files from widows and then click zip.In server(linux) i have to get those files and zip.Here i am unable to get the files sent by the client.
Suppose client will select the file in C:\xxx then click zip.In linux am using request.getParameter() from getting those files.Here in linux it is getting the path of the file as C:\xxx and unable to locate.Giving FIleNotFound Exception.
How can resolve this issue.

Your phone came with some software to install the Desktop Manager, you need to install that and make sure you install the media aswell. This will give your the "Roxio Media Manager" this will allow you to move pictures between your PC and phone. If in case you do not have this software,

Assuming it's in the correct format, select your phone from the device list in iTunes on your computer, select the music tab and check the music you wish to sync.

Try connecting the iPad to the computer that you do not want to WiFi sync with and uncheck the WiFi sync option in iTunes. Then click on Apply. Reboot the iPad and see if that does the trick.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
