Transferring recieved pics to Gallery

I want to get pics of my grandson printed from my phone, which are in Messages / Saved Items. The shop I went to said that they must be in the gallery for them to print them. The assistant didn't know how to transfer them to Gallery and neither do I. I have a Nokia 6500 slide phone.
I would appreciate any help as I'm no Rhodes Scholar when it comes to finicky technology.

Cincinnati Bell phones cannot recieve pic messages from me

How come I can send pic messages to other carriers except for Cincinnati Bell? I can recieve pics from them, but they can't recieve them from me. According to my phone, the pic sends, but they never recieve it. I thought it might have been because of the phones, I only had a EnV Touch and was sending to CB smartphones. But now I have a droid and it still doesn't work. But my bf had a droid and it would work from his phone. I am very confused.

You can try lowering the resolution on your camera. Snap a new picture then send that new picture. You mentioned your boyfriend's phone seemed to work. Is it currently working? If 1 person can send to that Cincinnati Bell number and you can't, it may be something with your resolution.

Date/time stamp issue when transferring vids/pics to computer. Help please.

Hi, i am having an issue when transferring my vids/pics from my Z2 to my PC.
On all my previous phones when transferring media to my PC it would be copied and labelled with a date stamp followed by a picture number- an example being 2014-01-13- 0123. This has always made organising and finding my pics/vids in there relavent folders an eay task.
The problem i am now faced with is when i transfer pics/vids from my Z2. The pictures are stamped with DSC_0001 for example and the videos with MOV_0001. This means when on my PC i have to examine each file individually to find out its date and time of origin.
Even more of an headache is everytime i have transferred files from my Z2 and then take more pics/vids and then try to transfer them to my PC the computer will not allow transfer as the stamp on the file i am transferring from my Z2 eg - DSC_0001 is already present on the PC from a previous transfer. This means i have to rename all the PC files first.
I hope this makes sense and hopefully there is an easy fix.
I am new to Android and overall i am very happy with the operating system, being a massive improvement generally over my previous phones. Fingers crossed this is down to my lack of knowledge and just involves a settings change somewhere.

The case you described is right. But it´s not a bug.
Why don´t you organise your pics/vids on your desktop with picasa for example. There you have many tools, also to rename your files, so that the filename contains the creation date.
Or you use a cloud solution like dropbox, google+ or amazon clouddrive to sync pics/vids from your phone automatically.
But never use the built-in sony playmemories. It´s really slow, pics are down-scaled to 1280x720 and vids are not synced. It´s the worst cloud-service for pics I´ve seen.

Transferring pictures from windows gallery to photoshop cs 5 how's it done

How do you do it?

Windows Gallery works just like windows Explorer it only points to the pictures folder. It is not a database. So the files do not need to be transfered at all. Just navigate photoshop or any other CS5 program to the pictures folder and work your way through the child folders.

Transfering recieved files to the memory-card!!!!

I transfer files/pictures to my E71 via the Bluetooth but have a couple of problems!
1- If the file is bigger then the available phone memory (max 110 meg!) then i can't transfer! That i understand but does it exist any way to configure the phone to save the recieved files directly to the memory-card?
2- Those files that do get transfered to the phone, you have to open first before being able to transfer it ti the memory-card! Problem is some times the phone memory is not enough to even open it so you can't open it nor save it on the memory-card!
3- There seem to be NO "transfer file" option between the phone memory and the card memory!
Anyone knows something?

If you go into Messaging, hit Options, choose Settings and then Other, then you can change the "Memory in use" from phone memory to the memory card. After that all incoming messages will be stored on the memory card.
You can also use Nokia PC Suite and use its Windows Explorer extension (Nokia Phone Browser) to copy files directly to the memory card also over Bluetooth (without going through Messaging at all).

Nokia 2760 Transfering RECIEVED photos to laptop

Hello there how,s it going? Here,s one for ya. I can use my phone and laptop bluetooth dongle thingy pretty good. Ive put photos on to laptop and got stuff from my laptop and put on phone BUT only untill today when someone sent me a photo of their 9 little piglets(they own a farm) and i thought i had better put on my laptop before i delete by mistake. And ive realised the option to send via bluetooth to laptop isnt there. Well, its not an option. Im paired up alright, if I had taken the photo myself on MY phone then transfering it would of been straight forward as ive done it many a time. Am i right or just being a dorkhead?

How were the photoes sent to you..? Normally if its in your Inbox... when the photo is Open there should be some option available to 'SAVE'.. If you select that it gets saved in the Gallery..Once there you can connect the Phone to Laptop and browse your phone folders to locate the photo in Windows explorer.. Simply Copy - Paste from there..
..or see the possibility to send it to your own e-mail address (thru' e-mail) and access it on your Laptop..

Cant send/recieve pics

hey guys im having trouble sending and receiving pics through ichat using my aim account, or sometimes i can recieve them and not send them its wierd, anyone know what can be wrong?

See if this help's, log on to AIM on port 443 rather than port 5190.
Go to IChat > Preferences > Accounts.
Log out of AIM and then use the Server Settings tab
Set the port to 443.
Log back in again.

Workaround for sending/recieving pics from non iPhone phones?

So, it seems that no one who tested the iPhone thought that sending pictures back and forth to other phones was a very important feature, as we're seeing that there's no way to send a pic via SMS.
So, anyone know how I can send pictures to my GF on her Verizon phone? Or, how she can send pictures to me? (i.e. can I email to some address at verizon that translates it to an SMS, and/or can she SMS a picture to my email?)
Also, it would be good for Apple to add a preference for taking lower-resolution pictures (or some feature that auto-downsizes them when sent via email or (hopefully soon) SMS) so that those of us who send pics all day don't fill up the memories of ppl whose phones don't have 8GB of storage.
Lastly, how exactly do I upload a picture to a web site? I was trying to upload one to my LiveJournal and the "choose image" button was greyed out in Safari on my iPhone.
After one day, I am loving the phone, but I think a lot more needs to be done on the preferences end.

you can however send any email to [email protected] with pictures attached. (meaning you send the email to an email address synced to the iPhone and use mail to open it)
to send messages to others, (verizon specifically) you'd send an email using mail with image attached to [email protected]

Most MMS providers offer MMS to email capability. AT&T does for example.
If you put the email address instead of the telephone number in the to field, it will send it to email.

Problem sending and recieving pics??

when i try to send a pic, red words come up saying " can't send the message without a connection. Try again once you're connected." What do i do?????????????

Having same issue, and yes, I'm using the KinTWOm. It happens no matter which way I'm trying to send a pic message. I can go to the photos, select the photo I want to send and try sending a pic message; I can go to start a text message, then select "add photo" or I can try emailing a picture. I've tried every way possible and still get the red message the OP mentioned.
This is a new issue for me, as I used to be able to send photos any which way I wanted to. I'm also now experiencing a serious lag when I touch the clock in the bottom right hand corner to bring up my current wireless connection strength. I touch the part that has my wireless signal to bring up the wireless interface and blank horizontal grey bars fill the screen and after a few seconds the "loading..." dark rectangle shows up over the top of them.
Going to do some more research to see if any other users are experiencing these issues. I've loved this phone since the day it arrived in my hands, but these glitches have me worried.
Any help would be appreciated in the meantime.

Loads of pics in gallery

Hi is there anyway i can tidy the gallery up on my n95 as i have tomtom installed with loads of points of interest and loads of photos on it all of which show up in gallery so lookin for something in 800 pictures takes ages is there a way i can stop some showing in gallery or sort them in to folders thanks Wayne

I am not receiving pics or multimedia text that people are sending me, I have unlimited text and calling and 2 gig of data I think. Do i not have something turned on properly.

Ada67, let's get your picture messaging working! As soupcannon suggested, you'll need to make sure MMS messaging is turned on in Settings, then Messaging. If this is already turned on, verify you are able to send picture messages. Try sending yourself one and see if you receive any errors. Dial *228 option 2 and reboot your phone. If no change, reset your network settings by going to Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings.

On my iphone i used to beable to send and receive pics but for some reason its gone now. How do i get that back?

I understand, as that was the place I would change it before 8.3 but now that option of Mail Days to Sync is not available? Any idea why that would be?

How to recieve Pic messages

I am new to Blackberrys everytime someone sends me a picture with a SMS message. All I get is a message saying I have a picture message and it directs me to my provider. Do I have a setting wrong?
