Transferring Styles in Excel to another PC.

I understand that when you set set up Styles for a specific cube in an Excel spreadsheet that the style information is saved in the registry of the local machine. We have a situation where we want to give the Excel spreadsheet to several users and have them all see it the same way. Does anyone know of a way to attach the style to the spreadsheet? Or, does anyone know a way to transfer styles set up in Excel for a specific database from one client machine to another?

You could distribute a reg file, which when executed, will be added to the registry (after the user confirms that the registry may be updated).There is a node for each database under:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Hyperion Solutions\Essbase\]Export the branch, the resultant file is executable. You could also "print" the file to the filesystem from a vba procedure, and execute it using shell. Then all the user would have to do is confirm.You could also programatically modify these registry keys using VBA, but it would be involved because you would have to use the WinAPI. These branches are not acessable by the VBA getsetting and savesetting functions.

I would recommend that you do the following as a minimum:
Power-down the modem, AirPort base station, and computer(s).
Power-up the modem; wait at least 10-15 minutes to allow it adequate time to initialize.
Power-up the AirPort base station; wait at least 5-10 minutes. Note: The AirPort's status light may continue to flash amber after it has intialized. That is because, there may be some additional configuration items necessary, like setting up wireless security, before the overall setup is completed to get a green status.
Power-up your computer(s).
If the above steps do not solve the problem, start over with step 1 above, but then perform the next steps between steps 1 & 2. above.
Disconnect the AirPort base station from the Internet broadband modem.
While all of the devices are powered-down, perform a "factory default" reset on the base station. This will get it back to its "out-of-the-box" configuration and make setting it up much easier, especially if you use the "Assist me" process within the AirPort Utility. (ref: Resetting an AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule)
After the base station resets, go ahead and power it back down.
Reconnect the AirPort base station to the Internet broadband modem. For the Extreme and Time Capsule, be sure to connect the cable to the base station's WAN (circle-of-dots) port.
Continue with step 2 in the first set of steps.
In this basic configuration, the AirPort base station will broadcast an unsecured wireless network with a Network Name (SSID) of Apple Network NNNNNN. Network clients, connected to the base station either by wire or wireless, should now be able to access the Internet through the ISP's modem. Once Internet connectivity has been verified, you can use the AirPort Utility to configure the base station for wireless security and any other desired options. Please post back your results.

and now not working.

Hi guys,
I keep getting "waiting for activation" on my iMessage. I can only send/receive iMessage from my email address, NOT my phone number.
I have done all kind of fixing suggestions that I can find online, but nothing works so far.
- Date & time set as automatic (I don't know why this matter, but mine was already set as automatic from the begining)
- Reset network setting
- Changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8.
- Restore to factory setting (from back up & as new iPhone)
- Turning on/off iMessage & facetime
- Sign out/in of apple ID
- Change location from apple ID
- Hard reset/reboot
And many others.
...me too. I'm in Portugal having the same issue!! Hopefuly Apple will give us a solution, shortly...

Transfering Access and Excel to XML

There is no single Java API that is built to translate Access and Excel data into XML. However, you can use a simple combination of APIs to accomplish this task. A direct way of doing this is to create ODBC datasources from your Access or Excel sources, use JDBC to connect to and query those datasources. From there you can use the WebRowSet to convert your ResultSet into XML. If you require more control over the formatting of the data, you'll need write something that iterates over the ResultSet data, translating the column names and values into XML. I would recommend using JDOM to build your XML documents. WebRowSet is part of the Rowset API.

Error in CLOB datatype for transfering data from Excel to Oracle database

Am using excel sheet as source and Oracle as target Database.
For all tables the operations works smoothly except for tables containing CLOB datatype.
Initially i have used SQL Developer to transfer some data into excell sheets, now i want to transfer those file's data into another Oracle Database.
What other options do i have?
Is excel not the right tool to transfer CLOB datatypes?

I couldn't suggest an excel to do it...
You can go from Oracle to Oracle with the PL/SQL IKM. It works fine.

How do I go about transferring my iPhone 4s to another number on my plan?

Use a different phone and call *611 for them to switch them so you can keep the insurance if you have any.

Xcelsius and relative cell in Excel from another document

Hi, gurus.
I have one question about Xcelsius opportunities. Can I use relative cells in Excel document, which as links to cell in another excel document. For example I have two Excel document. At first I use relative cell like this "='\job\[test_1.xlsx]List1'!$C$6", after them I imported file with this link to Xcelsius and I can see value from another document, when I work with Xcelsius only. When I view my result or exported in swf - I see that this value become 0, like empty cell.
Can I use relative cells in Xcelsius or it is them limitation?

Thank you. I think so too. But I have no confirmation...
And I think this limit like limit for work with Excel Macros, because If we may use macros in another document, with work opportunity with relative cells we can get data with VBA scripts computing.

Data not transfering from one form to another

I have designed two forms in which i want to transfer data from one form to another which contains lot of fields.Process starts wid filling the first form(form1) from the workspace and all the data from dat form will be transfered to next level user who is having form2.Both forms contains two pages each.I tried with the SETVALUE ACTIVITY after designing two forms but its showing error.

No am not using any xml schema .i have designed the two forms with the same fileds and field names.what cpould be the problem.After submitting the task from the start process it is going to the next user level but the form is getting added twice in the to do list of that user and data is not getting bound.If u want i can sned u my lca files or forms.

CJI3 report with the field Partner Object should show you the sender and receiver WBS if revenues have been manually reposted.

Are Keywords etc. transferable from one computer to another?

I'm working abroad at the moment using my laptop to manage my photos - usually at home I use another PC for my photography. If I organise my photos here by adding new keywords, ratings, metadata etc. are there any issues in transferring those criteria when I copy the files to my other PC when I get home?

I guess that I may have badly phrased the original question. I think the issue that I'm trying to resolve is that in Bridge you can set up a keyword hierarchy but when you open Bridge on another computer the keyword hierarchy (showing in the keywords panel) is different until you change it. So if I create a keyword hierarchy in Bridge on one computer is there any way that I can copy that hierarchy over to another computer?

I am getting delayed in transffering data from one table to another for the purpose of
making archieve of a transaction table.
The number of records in question are about five million and the time taking is
about 3 to 5 hours in Oracle 10g database in Sun SOLARIS config.
can any one help me in reducing this time

Vendor line items transferred from one vendor to another vendor

My client created one vendor called "X" under General Vendor Group by mistake, now they realized that "X" vendor should be created under Related Party Vendor Group. Now they want all line items posted to that vendor should be transferred to New Vendor created under Related Party Vendor Group,
Can you please suggest how to go about the data migration in this case

As you suggested we would be blocking "X" (Vendor No - 110001) old Vendor and create new vendor "X" (Vendor No - 130012) and what about transfer of line items existing in old vendor (Vendor No-110001)
my client wants to transfer all the line items (existing) of old vendor (Vendor No - 110001) to New Vendor (Vendor No - 130012) for entire year,
Simultaneously my client don't want to run the report by combining both vendors to know how much business has done with that particular vendor, because of that reason we need to transfer all the line items from old vendor to new vendor
