Transferring the conifguration Changes to Mobile Client

hi,
I have made some configuration changes in the Partner Determination Procedure for the Transaction Type Task.
Now I want these changes transferred to Mobile Client.
I tried to transfer these changes by running ConnTrans but these changes are not reflected in the Mobile Client.
Is there any way to transfer the configuration changes to Mobile Client

Hi zack,
Customising data is not a delta load.  You need to run the cusotmising synchronization found at:
Easy menu
-> Architecture and Technology
-> Middleware
-> Data Exchange
-> Synchronization
-> Synchronize Objects
The partner determination type adapter objects are:
CRM_DNL_PAR*

  • Error "Version 3.1.04063 of the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is already installed" - help !

    hi,
    I've tried to install AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client on my computer (Mac OS 10.6.8), I've never installed it before on this computer, however when I want to install  i got the message
    "Version 3.1.04063 of the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is already installed"
    I would be thankful if anyone could help me with this problem !!!

    Would I be correct in assuming that you are trying to do a manual install of the AnyConnect client when you get this error? Have you ever used this MAC to connect to an ASA and to establish a VPN? If so it is quite likely that AnyConnect was installed in that on line session and does not require a manual install.

  • Trasnporting the Config Changes to Mobiel Client

    Hi,
    We are in CRM 4.0 and using the Mobile Sales.
    We are using the oppurtunity management and I defined some new "phases" "Reason Codes" "Status" for the Oppurtunity transaction.
    Now I am trying to send these new defined codes to the Mobile Client but I am not succesfful by doing the Conn Trans.
    SO how can i transport these changes to the Mobile Client.
    any suggestions are welcome

    This is bizarre:
    when you start the object, it selects all of the information  and sends it in packages to the inbound queue to be processed.
    From the inbound queue, the data is transferred to the function processing the object, which collects the information in a bdoc and processes it from there. After that you have the CDB mapping &...
    --> If the object is processing and shows a block, then at least one block of data is passed on to the inbound queue
    --> If the inbound queue does not show this entry, it's either processed and saved as a Bdoc in your system, or the information was lost in a short-dump or update record.
    (which should be visible in ST22 or SM12/SM13).
    I guess the only thing left todo is:
    - cancel all processing objects
    - block the inbound queue
    - start the sync object
    - start the inbound queue-entry in debugging
    - follow it to where the data is lost.

  • AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Multiple Profiles

    Hi,
    I have multiple clients that use multiple versions of VPNs including Cisco, Sonicwall and others.
    I have a client with the (older) "Cisco Systems VPN Client".  Then I got a new client with instructions to install the "Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client".  Without warning, the installation uninstalled what I now believe was an older version of this same VPN client - but the name has changed, the installation directories have changed, etc.
    OK, but the new client wiped out the connection parameters to the old client.
    I've tried to read and understand the other discussion entries about storing multiple "profiles" (i.e. vpn connections).  Other VPN clients have a menu option or a simple way to add a connection, but it seems more challenging to do this with the AnyConnect client.  However, I read, and tried to set up, multiple profiles.  From the other discussions, I followed these steps:
    1. Located the (hidden in Windows 7) following directory:
         %ProgramData%\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\Profile
    2.  Created two xml files, "Client1.xml" and "Client2.xml" in this directory. containing
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <AnyConnectProfile xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/encoding/">
      <ServerList>
        <HostEntry>
          <HostName>Client1HostName</HostName>
          <HostAddress>Client1HostaddressDNS</HostAddress>
          <PrimaryProtocol>IPsec</PrimaryProtocol>
        </HostEntry>
      </ServerList>
    </AnyConnectProfile>
    {And a similar file for Client2}
    There was another discussion thread that had more lines in the xml file, which I also tried.  Again, I created 2 separate xml files, each one with the respective client's parameters.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <AnyConnectProfile xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/encoding/">
    <ServerList>
         <HostEntry>
              <User>navadmin</User>
              <SecondUser></SecondUser>
              <ClientCertificateThumbprint></ClientCertificateThumbprint>
              <ServerCertificateThumbprint></ServerCertificateThumbprint>
              <HostName>Client1</HostName>
              <HostAddress>Client1DNS</HostAddress>
              <Domain></Domain>
              <Group>ssl_url</Group>
              <ProxyHost></ProxyHost>
              <ProxyPort></ProxyPort>
              <SDITokenType>none</SDITokenType>
              <ControllablePreferences>
              <LocalLanAccess>true</LocalLanAccess></ControllablePreferences>
         </HostEntry>
    </ServerList>
    </AnyConnectProfile>
    I then quit the AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client and restarted, hoping that I would get a dropdown list that contained "Client1" and "Client2".  This did not happen.
    Prior to trying this, I did NOT delete the "Preferences.xml" file in the following directory:
    C:\users\<myusername>\AppData\Local\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client
    This is where the Anyconnect client stored the connection info when I manually input it into the GUI.
    So, my questions are:
    1.     Do I need to delete the preferences.xml in order for the profiles in the other directory to be read and displayed in the client dropdown?
    2.     Are there naming conventions for the profile xml files that I'm not following by calling them "Client1.xml" and "Client2.xml"?
    3.     Any other ideas as to why this isn't working?
    4.     There are also references to a "profile editor", but the discussion threads aren't clear whether this utility is installed when you just install the client software, or if you have to have some sort of "administrator package" installed.  If so, is this package available for download, or do you need to purchase a full VPN client license in order to have access to this utility?
    Thanks,
    Ron

    The Client1.xml and Client2.xml files that you created have correct content but wrong names. You only need 1 file called Profile.xml and inside you can then add multiple hosts by adding the nodes.
    So your Profile.xml would look like this -
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/encoding/">
          Client1HostName
          Client1HostaddressDNS
          IPsec
          Client2HostName
          Client2HostaddressDNS
          IPsec
    I hope this helps.
    Ratan.

  • Problem installing Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client

    Hello,
    When attempting to install the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client, I get the following message: "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
    Well, my support personnel haven't been able to assist. I am attaching the setupapi.dev file I was told could help in troubleshooting. Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Thank you in advance.

    do you have the xml assigned in the group policy on the ASA?  I know the scripting behavior changed between anyconnect 2.5 and 3.1.  AnyConnect 2.5 only required the xml profile locally but 3.1 requires the xml with EnableScripting = true to be assigned to the group policy.

  • Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client Fails to Install

    I've followed and contributed to posts about this problem here: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2057631
    But this problem isn't only isolated to 2.5 client, so I thought a new discussion might attract a bit more attention and feedback.
    For 5 or 6 users when I try to install the client as new as version 3.0.11042 (any version, not just the newest) I get a failure:
    CustomAction VACon64_Install returned actual error code -536870348 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)
    Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Before it rolls back, I try to run the command manually which appears to do something, but doesn't fix the problem.
    This is the step that is trying to install the service VPNVA, but it fails.
    I have cleaned up all the files I know how (which registry entries might I also try?) and rebooted several times, but no luck.
    The documented Cisco solution, and what i've been telling frustrated users one after another is "re-image your machine"
    Does someone have an idea of what else I can try?

    Thank you.
    The workaround works. Yes, using Windows 8.1.
    An HOW TO on how to set this for everyone who is not that computer savvy...
    1. Go to the Start Screen of Windows 8.1 and look for the Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client icon (or just type it on the Start Screen).
    2. Right click the icon and select 'Open file location'.
    3. Right click the Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client (Shortcut) and select 'Properties'
    4. Select the 'Compatibility' Tab.
    5. Check the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and select 'Windows 8' in the drop down.
    6. Click 'OK' to close the window.
    7. Log off and log on again (or reboot the computer).
    Note to point 5. If there are multiple users are using the PC with different user accounts and they're using the Cisco Secure Mobility Client as well, then go to 'Change settings for all users' and there apply point 5. To do so you'll need administrative rights to the computer though.

  • Connections drop when using Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client

    Folks I have a strange issues. I have a few laptops that I'm testing using the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Network Access Manager. We like the interface and overall are happy, but have one nagging issue. Periodically the connection drops when using the client, and the only way to reconnect is to choose the Network repair option on the client. That fixes it just fine, but we shouldn't have to do this. The same clients using the built in WIndows supplicant do not have this problem. We are on version 3.0.07059.

    Right now I'm testing on a single access point (autonomous) with WEP! The same laptop works fine without the Cisco client. Usually it is several hours, 12 or more when it happens, but I've seen it less than that. And I've seen it up for over a day and a half. At this point I just don't trust the client to roll out to a larger audience.

  • Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client - Newbie Totally Lost

    We currently have an ASA 5505 Firewall with VPN services configured.  The system is running ASA Version 9.0.0 and ADSDM 7.0.2.  I installed the "Cisco AnyConnect Sercure Mobility Client" Version 3.1.01065 on my Windows 7 Ultimate PC.  When I try to connect to my VPN service I ge the following message:
    Security Warning: Untrusted VPN Server Certificate!  AnyConnect cannot verify the VPN server: XXX.XXX.XX.XX
    Certifiate does not match the server name
    Certificate is from an untrusted source.
    Certificate is not identified for this purpose.
    Without purchasing a certificate from a 3rd Party vendor, is it possible to register a "Self" generated Certificate to get rid of this message?  If so are there any "Detailed" (e.g., simplified or not in Cisco-eeze language) instructions on how to setup the Firewall to "push" the certificate to the VPN client so the message doesn't come up for the user?

    You can simply accept the self-signed certificate the first time you are presented with that message and direct AnyConnect to always trust such certificates.
    If you don't want to do that, you need to make your clients automatically trust this certificate from your ASA. You can do that several ways. You mentioned using a 3rd party vendor - that ends up being the method of using a vendor in the trusted root Certificate Authority (CA) list. If you don't use one of the 3rd party ones, you will need to push out the trust via some software deployment method - e.g. a GPO for Windows clients in a managed AD setup or via pre-deploying with yet another 3rd party tool like LANdesk.
    If you don't have an internal CA or AD-managed infrastructure for your clients then just telling users to click "always trust" is the path of least resistance (although the least secure).

  • Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client using discrete graphics on Mac

    Hello,
    I use your Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client to connect to my University's VPN. The programme is supplied to me by my University so I presume it licenses it for its students such as myself.
    I am writing to let you know the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client uses the discrete graphics card on my MacBook Pro whenever it is running. I cannot quit the Client, that will end my VPN session, but at the same time using the discrete graphics card is a drain on the battery for no good reason; Cisco AnyConnect does not display any visuals that I am aware would require the use of an NVidia Kepler card with 1GB VRAM. The application's code perhaps needs to be rectified so it does not depend on the discrete graphics card when clearly (as the attachments show) it does not need a discrete graphics card to render its very simple interface.
    Cheers.

    If your company has the Cisco IPSec protocol open you can use the Mac's built-in VPN settings.
    However, if those ports are blocked by your local service (Starbucks or w/e) then you will have to use the AnyConnect VPN, which is done over SSL (https).

  • Issues reconnecting with cisco anyconnect secure mobility client when plugged in via ethernet

    Hi,
    I have a laptop running Windows 8 x64 with the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client version 3.1.02040.  Ethernet and Wireless enabled.  by default, ethernet works primarily until the system detects that ethernet is down, i.e. undocked from docking station, it should switch to wireless.
    Problem:  When connected to vpn via ethernet card, it connects without any issues, but when i disconnect it takes a few seconds to disconnect, like 10+ seconds.  I try to reconnect to vpn but it says something is wrong with the vpn client and to restart the OS.  I restart and my system just takes forever to restart and eventually it will restart, but the OS will generate a MS crash dump.
    If i undock my laptop and connect to vpn via my wireless card, everything works fine.  i can disconnect from vpn and it does it in a few seconds, I can reconnect without any issues.
    please advise...thanks.

  • How to disable product update on Cisco AnyConnect mobility client

    Hallo,
    Do you anybody know how to disable/turn off "Checking for product update" during _every_ connecting Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client (VPN) to remote sites?
    I found it may by possible on the ASA side, but I need to disable it on the client (computer). I can see that checking is NOT during connecting to my company site, but when connecting to ANY OTHER site everytime is new version checked. It takes some time ... and I need to switch between VPN often.
    Thank you for your help!
    Regards, Ondrej

    You should be able to do this in the AnyConnect local policy. Just add (or edit, if you already have a local policy file) the following to the local policy file:
    <!--?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?-->
    <anyconnectlocalpolicy acversion="2.4.140" xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/encoding/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemalocation="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/encoding/ AnyConnectLocalPolicy.xsd">
    <BypassDownloader>true</BypassDownloader>
    </AnyConnectLocalPolicy>
    The local policy file can be found here:
    Windows Vista/7/8: C:\ProgramData\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\AnyConnectLocalPolicy.xml
    Linux/Mac: /opt/cisco/anyconnect/AnyConnectLocalPolicy.xml
    See the Enabling FIPS and Additional Security in the Local Policy section of the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Administrator Guide, Release 3.1 for more details.

  • Sync of mobile client

    what is the procedure for synchronising mobile client with mobile server?

    Hi Manikandan,
    I am assuming you are trying to sync for the first time.
    First create a new user (the user must be already created/present in the MI server) in your mobile client and then log into the mobile client with the same user. Go to 'settings' link on your MI Client homepage, where you need the appropriate data informing your client abt the server. This info includes Host ( give fully qualifies host name), Port ( Normally 50000) and System ( your system name eg. EEC). Once this is done, save the settings and go to the homepage.
    Click on the icon at the center of the screen which will lead to next page where u will be asked for the Sync password. The Sync password is the same password which the user uses to log in to the MI server (ABAP) directly and press 'ok'.
    I suggest you refer to MDK2.5 which will help with such issues
    Hope this helps.

    Rahul
