If the old ID ("email address") is your ID, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When firefox trys to auto update, or I manually download the new version, or some but not all downloads off of the web, I get this error message. C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Temp could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder.

First off, when firefox trys to auto update, it fails. It tells me to try and download the new version from mozilla's site. When I try to download the new version I get this: (C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Temp could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder.)
This is the same message I have been getting when I try to download other things off the net. (When I use other browsers to download I dont have this problem)

When I try to open a PSD file, Photoshop opens the new file dialog box instead

This does not happen with all files, but I have a few that have become corrupted it seems. I have previously opened, edited and saved these files without any difficulty, but now they will not open.
This is what Photoshop shows when I try to open the files
For the affected files, it does not matter if I open my Library and click on the file, or click File>Open within Photoshop. The same thing happens.
If I click OK, then a blank file opens.
Any ideas on how to fix the file?

These file may be corrupt if Photoshop CS6 works otherwise. If you upload them to a file sharing server and post a link to them I will download them and see if I can open them in the versions of Photoshop I have installed on my machines.

Why do I get "Connection problem" on my ASUS notebook when I try to access my Yahoo mail account with the new version of Firefox?

Since I updated firefox to 29.0.1 on my desktop, I am unable to access my email account at Yahoo.com from my ASUS notebook. "Connection problem" pops up when it tries to get new mail. I was getting mail on the ASUS on 3/12/13, but starting today I get that message and no new mail comes to the ASUS.

I deleted the account on my ASUS email at settings. The ASUS appeared to delete the Yahoo email account, but when I clicked on the shortcut, my yahoo email had updated and everything looks good.

I just bought a g4 power pc 1gig new in the box. I have an iMac that I had upgraded from Tiger to Lepoard. When I put my Lepoard disc in the g4 it gave me a message to restart but when I try to restart it only powers and repeats the message what do I do

I found a brand new power pc g4 1gig never unpacked and tried to use my Lepoard disk to upgrade the os but I get a restart message but when I power down it stays off and when I power up I get the restart message. If I can't upgrade to Lepoard how do I get the computer to eject my Lepoard disk and go back to the os that was on it? Thank you anyone who can advise.

When you power up the computer hold down the click bar on the track pad (or the left click on a mouse) and the computer will eject the disk.

When I try to bookmark a page, nothing happens. The "new" bookmark does not appear on any list.

How do I get it to work?

You could try increasing the java heap size, though sometimes an issue can occur if you are trying to delete a member when a workflow process has started, do you have one running?

I have downloaded an update to Firefox, but when I try to load it I get this message, "The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items" and I have no idea what it is talking about or how to change it.

The previous version of Firefox is still on and operational. I get this message when I try to drag the Firefox icon to the application file icon. Since this is my computer, and I am the administrator, I don't know what privileges I lack, or on which items. If there is a way to correct this I would like to do so and activate the new version. It looks like the new version is 7.0.1 for Mac OS. This happens everytime I try to load the new version by dragging the icon.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

The image on the left is via preview and the image on the right is what is shows like when I try to download it. I have emailed it to myself and it shows fine on the computer and in CS4, but when I look at the download via my phone or on another computer it shows the wonky color on the right. I have checked the color space shows RGB/8 bit. Any ideas why or how to fix it? Most of the time you see something like that. The image in question has a color profile other then sRGB. Some image viewers/displayers are color managed and others are not. So the image do not look the same in all of the applications you use. So colors seem to change.
Try converting it to sRGB color and see if then looks the same all around. Also I think PC and Mac displays are set to different gamma something like 1.8 and 2.2
Though I'm colorblind I even see color variations.
