Transform Palette is not Opening Fully

I am using Adobe InDesign CS on a Power mac G4, Mac OS X, Version 10.4.11
My Transform Palette from the Windows tab is not opening fully. I have reset my palettes by going to window/workspace/Default, all of the palettes are fine. When I go to Window/Transform the palette pops up and is 1/4 of the size it should be (vertically). I am only able to see a sliver. the x circle is showing at the top and the middle circle is grayed out, I cannot see the green circle. The flyout menu does not give me an option to expand the palette either. Can anyone help me with this?

Try double-clicking on the name of the palette. It has a 'window-shade"-like function.

i am having problems exporting my time lapses from quick time pro i need to save my files as photo jpegs but the standard video compression window will not open fully, it just keeps my mac (old 1.6Ghz 2.5 GB sdram G5 still good for most stuff i need) spinning for ever but i can see compression type H.264 selected and the other setting but i can not select any other options as it still thinking but never opens! why is this happening how do i get round it?
my work flow is: 300 images shot on a 5d mark II medium jpegs opened in Light Room cropped to 16:9 then exported and opened in quick time i can save a .mov H264 giving me files sizes of 14 mb for a 16 second time lapse, mp4 9 mb. the only way i can get large files is saving as a self contained movie then i get 300mb files.
i need to save my files 1920 x 1080 photo jpeg codec as i want HD quality.
i am sure there is a simple way round this?

It is very difficult to offer troubleshooting suggestions when the "os version" you are using is unknown as each os has their own troubleshooting solutions.
How large is your hard drive and how much hard drive space do you have left?

Websites in safari snow leopard do not open fully; buttons not showing word

after installing SL, it seems like some browsers in safari will not open fully... i tried opening some websites eztv.it, where it used to be okay before the upgrade, but now, the "buttons" do not have anything on them... i tried to put safari on the 32-bit mode; i re-installed safari from the SL disc, but still nothing's happening... they all work fine in firefox...
i also did the upgrade on my husband's macbook white, and he does not seem to have the same problem... his safari is working fine..
please help

Try Safari Maintenance
Repair disk permissions.
Quit any open applications/programs. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

Data Quality Data Cleanse Transform SQL Connection Not Open

Iu2019m working with the previously installed version of Data Services and there are errors encountered with Data Cleanse transforms not having all the metadata. When validating or double-clicking the NA Eng DC transform the following Option Group/connection not open message is returned.
Option Group Error (Option Group: Datacleanse transform): The SQL connection returned by the Metadata Repository is not open.
Iu2019ve verified substitution parameters (including using those from another install in the environment which is functioning correctly), re-synched repos, database connectivity, amongst other things. Connectivity to the repository is otherwise behaving normally. Does anyone recognized this problem, know the resolution?

In Data Services Designer, there is a Dicitonary > Manage Connection option that is used to access the Cleansing Package (CP). Note: You must seed the CP within Repository Manager. It sounds as if you may not have established a valid connection inside of Designer causing the error you are seeing.

I PHOTO NOT OPENING FULLY

Had a software problem and took my powerbook to apple store where it was completely wiped clean and reinstalled all software ..... now when i open i photo
the pictures wont open fully and remain unclear as if they are were taken with a
1 million pixel camera you can see the pixels ie squares in the pictures ....some open ok but mostly they open in very poor quality ....they were all taken with the same camera on thre same settings any ideas

After reinstalling the software did you create a new library and then imported photos from your old library folder? It sounds like what you're seeing are thumbnail files that were imported as full size files. Check on and see what the size and dimensions are. Do you have the original library folder anywhere? If so then launch iPhoto with the Option key depressed and, when asked, navigate to that original folder and select it to open. See what you get then.\

Decision boxes do not open fully and often 2 lines of print overlap

Decision boxes to enter passwords or other info, do not open completely, preventing access to areas requested, with no way to change the size of the box. Lines of print often overlay one another, preventing reading & understanding of data. This has never been a problem with Chrome, IE, or any other browser.

Is the printer still under warranty? If so, you could contact HP phone support as you may require a replacement printer.
Re. your query on individual ink cartridges (IIC). If you mostly print black text then an IPH (integrated printhead) based printer would suit best (many of them can work in reserve mode so the tricolor cartridge isn't needed)

Every time I upgrade Firefox my web mail page opens,but will not open subpages
The first page after login Lists Mail.trash,sent,etc.
There are no sublists New mail,trash, sent etc
I am forced to uninstal firefox & re instal firefox 3.6

look in HD/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ & move/trash the Adobe PDF viewer plugin; restart any browsers & things should behave again.

Go to Reaktor when it is open as a plugin , and go to File / Settings
Under the option tab there are settings where you can manually resize the window....

How can I fix iPhoto? When I turn it on or plug my phone in iPhoto will not open fully. It will also not want me to quit it, and wont allow me to shut off my laptop. What can i do?

My iphoto just does not want to work!

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

My g mail does not open fully on firefox but does on IE despite reloading Firefox again

I have noticed I cannot fully load g mail from one particular notebook running firefox 3.6.10. It loads fully from other computers and allows me to logon. It does load on the machine in question if I use Int Expl.
I have uninstalled it and reloaded but the problem persists. This is a recent development as it ran well for months before without any issues. I have also cleared the cache, temp files etc
Please can someone assist

Thx for the references. It appears that the solution may be to UNCHECK "Send to this recipient in Microsoft rich text format" checkbox in OUTLOOK. But, we are unable to find this checkbox. Any guidance on where it might be in OUTLOOK?

I think there's some kind of screw around the shutter door area. If too tight, could stop the sly door from moving
you might have to loosen it (take the drive out first, though)

Did you reinstall an older Firefox 3.6.x version (3.6.16 is current)?
This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

IPhoto will not open completely, just loading

iPhoto is just loading, it does not open fully... I have tried repairing the library and also tried opening it in safe mode but it still doesnt work. How can I fix this?

He had me delete my SystemConfiguration folder and reboot... pure magic after
The folder in question controls your network settings etc....
It is found.... Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
Macintosh HD being your computer root... not the user.

NOTE: Check your System/Sharing preference page to remember your Mac's name before trying this fix. The fix will cause the Mac's name to revert to a generic name which can mess up any sharing you've setup. Don't delete the folder right away but put it on the Desktop. If the fix works rename your Mac to what it was before. If the fix doesn't work you can move that folder back replacing the new one that was created.

Your old phone had a voicemail passcode; you just forgot what it was. All cell phones have voicemail passwords. Call your carrier and have them reset your voicemail account and give it a new passcode. The iPhone will remember the passcode after you enter it, so you won't have to remember it (just as you didn't with the previous phone).
