Transformation After Import RC12 Method GET_T_TRANSFORM

Hi,
we are on BI 7.0 SP11 (this intermediate SP between SPS10 and SPS11).
We now twice had the problem that a transport of a transformation (with start-routine, look-up-routines and formulas) from DEV- to Q-System failed with RC 12 with the following informations in the job protocol of RDDEXECL:
    "OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED" " "
    "CL_RSBK_DTP_V=================CP" bzw.
"CL_RSBK_DTP_V=================CM02F"
    "GET_T_TRANSFORM"
Haven't been able to find any sapnote with any of the (for me ...) thinkable key words in this case. [ST22 (dump analysis) offers the component BW-WHM-DST.]
The situation in Q after the aborted import is the following:
Browsing the start- and lookup-routines causes short-dumps.
Browsing the formula and other field-rules is fine.
We then opened up the Q-System for changing repository objects and, guess what, editing of start- and look-up-routines was just fine. Checking brought no syntax error and without changing anything at all we simply saved and activated the routines and the transformation and the following import in our P-System gave us no trouble at all.
However, the situation isn't quite satisfying. The above mentioned short-dump while trying to browse the start-routine mentions the programme name CL_RSTRAN_STEP_ROUT===========CP. This led me to
SAPNOTE 1024333 (SP13!).
But I'm not sure weather it really fits our problem.
Has anybody of you experienced the same problem and could give us some advice? Would be great!

I just ran in to the exact same issue with a transformation with 2 field routines.
In my case I'm not able to go to change mode in Q system so I have get the transport issue fixed.
Any help would be great.

Did you connect your iPad to your computer then open the application on your computer that transfers photos from a camera? Your computer should recognize the iPad as a camera. All photos in the Camera Roll on the iPad should then be seen and you should be able to copy them to the computer using that application.
Photos that were synced to your iPad by connecting to your syncing computer cannot be copied back this way as the master file for those photos are on the syncing computer.

Import OLE methods in Oracle Forms 6i

Hi,
I am experiencing some problems to import OLE methods in Oracle
Forms 6i.
In Forms 6i, I select Program->Import OLE Library Interfaces
menu option. After the Import OLE Library Interfaces dialog box
appears, I can see the OLE Class that I would like to access
but none of its methods or events.
Why the methods and events do not appear?

If all you want to do is extract the documents from the Long Raw columns, you can use UTL_FILE to extract the binary content to the file system. You would have to loop through the records in your table to extract each file. Take a look at article Export BLOB Contents Using UTL_FILE that I googled. Granted, this article discusses exporting a BLOB not a Long Raw, but the concept is the same and you should be able to modify the code sample in the article to work with your Long Raw columns.

Appset not appearing after import

Hi Friends,
We are on bpc75nw sp04.
Custom appset(A) is correctly imported into target system. I'm able to see in backend(BW), but in fron-end(BPC admin/BPC excel) not appearing. Could any one suggest, what might be reason? How to know install user id of BPC system?
Basis consultant, tried with different user ids like install user, & other users, but he couldn't see at server level as well client level.
I checked uje_user table, it shows appset(A) avialable to USER1.
I hope with USER1 id only, we are able to see appset (A).

An exception is occurred after importing of substitutions

I have extended some view objects, create substitutions in jpx-file and after import them to MDS repository (for instance, AVOEx extends AVO, BVOEx extends BVO). It works fine on my local machine. After that I have deployed AVOEx and BVOEx to server which uses same database. An exception is occurred:

Check mark not showing after importing in Image Capture

The check marks will show right after importing photos to a hard drive in Image Capture. However, after unplugging my iPhone and plugging it back in to import new photos, the check marks are not showing up for the photos I have already imported. One way I was successful at getting the check marks to show was to select another folder to import to and then select the folders that contain the imported images.

CDs don't contain artwork, you can either add the artwork manually or (if the album is available in the iTunes store) you can have iTunes download it automatically from there. Elements Organizer (v12) not displaying AVCHD video after import

I installed Premiere Elements 12 on my Windows 8 (x64) computer. After I import a MTS (AVCHD) video from either my camera and/or my hard disk,the audio plays but no video is displayed. The MTS file (video + audio) work fine in every other program on my computer, including the Premiere Elements video editor. The only place it doesn't work is in Elements Organizer. I can even preview the video in the "Get Videos and Pictures from Files and Folders" import window from Organizer.
After importing the MTS file into the video editor, I exported it to AVCHD and tried importing the Premiere created AVCHD file in to Organizer but no luck.
Seems like there's some kind of plug-in issue, but I can't find any info on that. The codec must be fine, because the MTS file play everywhere else.
Appreciate any help/insight.

Thank you so much! Although it's not exporting quite as clear as before, it's much, MUCH better now that I've corrected the timeline dominance - I'd say 95% better; and it will be re-compressed by my clients for web streaming so it doesn't need to be perfect - but the initial quality was garbage.
I suspect when I exported my T2i footage as a ProRes file, than imported into After Effects, then back into FCP something happened along the way that messed up the quality slightly. Although the only difference in my method between FCP5 and 7 was converting to ProRes; which I only did for editing purposes as the native T2i footage needs to be rendered... which ended up being redundant as all my After Effects work needed to be rendered anyway. Ho hum.
Do you think the ProRes conversion could account for the quality loss? It wasn't just the footage that was grainy/fuzzy, it was also the After Effects graphic work, which is why I didn't think the converstion could be the culprit. Hm. I'll have to look into this more!

Timing appearance of PPT slideshow elements after importing to Captivate

I know that in Captivate I can import PPT slides along with
the animations (bullet points appearing one at a time, etc.), and
that if these are timed in PPT, the timing can be preserved on the
Captivate timeline after importing... However, do you have to time
the bullet points coming up while in PPT, or is there a way to
import PPT slides and then control the appearance of bullet points
or other objects within Captivate (to match up with audio narration
recorded outside of PPT, for example)?
What we are trying to achieve is to have Subject Matter
Experts create PPT slides and narration that will go along with
them, then record the narration and produce a narrated presentation
through Captivate that synchs the narration with the appearance of
visual elements in the PPTs.

Larry Walther described a method for controlling the timing
of animations in imported PowerPoint slides in this message. It
sounds as if you have a similar situation.

Best import bitmap method?

Hi,
I am doing a software simulation using a bunch of
screengrabs. Save them as layers in PS, Then usually have a full
background plate, and isolate the different changes (such as button
hilites or other grapic changes on layers above the background,
sometimes ending up with 30+ layers. After much testing betweeb PS,
Firework, and Flash, I found the best method was to import the file
to Imageready and export / layers as files, in the 24 png format.
Then import the pngs to Flash 8. They come in with the correct
alignment to the background plate, and with transparency and the
layer name (I had given them in PS). (Does this seem the best
method to other people?).
My question now is; In flash, the layers with the
transparency are now easy to lay out to the background since they
all have the same bounding box size, etc. But are these layers with
Transparency increasing the over all file size, (and affect the
resulting .swf), if so, is there anything I can do to make them
smaller. Also always been confused to know if I should break apart
all full screen bitmaps after importing, or only if I'm going to be
editing or munipulating them some how?

Everybody has their own preferences for workflows, and their own opinions of what works best for themselves. Your source files, output requirements and available drive space will all effect the workflow you develop.
Personally, as my normal workflow is totally uncompressed until delivery, I edit my content as much as possible, then export content which requires motion graphic work as an uncompressed or lossless Quicktime file. (If I'm working on something short like a TV commercial or music video, I'll just export the entire project. If it's something longer, I'll export the segment that requires work only.) I then do the work required, and re-export in the same lossless or uncompressed format. The uncompressed file then goes above the original in the editing timeline, where output files are generated.
Adobe's Dynamic Link process is another option you haven't mentioned, which allows you to open Premiere projects in After Effects and vice versa. I work in Final Cut Pro anyway, and my limited experience with Dynamic Link has found it to be a bit flakey, so I prefer the method above, generally. There's a third party product called Automatic Duck that does a fairly faultless conversion of FCP projects to AE, if you really need that process.

Automatic SWU_OBUF after import

Hello,
does anybody have a feedback, advice or thought about running SWU_OBUF automatically after import of a transport request in a target system? I don't know if it can be dangerous or not, or if there is another solution.
We have many systems and administrators forget to run this transaction when workflow transports are done during the day. That makes us losing lot of time for analysis, doing tests again, etc.
I think of creating a SWU_OBUF batch input and run it using AFTER_IMP method of PDWS object, and sRFC to run it on the right target client.

I was reading that the program Rick mentioned could be used. I'm not 100% it is the same program since SWU_OBUF calls a different program, but they might end up calling the same code any way.

In the worst case, you can just write a simple program that does a CALL TRANSACTION.

Sandra didn't want to run it frequently. She needed it only upon importing a transport into a system. I'm not aware of anything available with the standard system so I suggested that she schedules the job to run more frequently on non-production systems. If you are aware of any automated method, it'll be great if you share with us.

Can not refresh snapshot changes after importing data of master site

I have two database computer,one as master site,one as snapshot site.Because the error of the hard disk of master computer,I use the exporting data file to recover my database.after importing ,I found I can't refresh the refreshgroup on snapshot,who can tell me why?

You haven't listed the errors that you're receiving when attempting to refresh your refresh group, but if your snapshots are attempting to fast refresh, I suspect it's because the creation timestamp of the snapshot log on the master site is newer than the creation timestamp of the snapshot. In this case you will need to do a complete refresh of the snapshot (or drop and recreate the snapshot) before you will be able to fash refresh it again.
If this is not the case, please post the errors you are receiving when you attempt to refresh the refresh group.

Apex Application not working after importing to my apps schema...

I created one DB application in my sample schema that is associated with apex 4.0.....
Application details:
*) login page(where i will be giving username and password)
*) page 1 (consist of several form fields, like

the above are the fields, if i put any entries in the above field means, it will get automatically inserting in the report column, which is also in the same page consist of the above fields in the table manner...
since this report table consist of an edit icon in front, if i clicked the edit icon of an one row means, it will go to another page..
*) i.e. page 3(consist of the same fields with entries in it automatically corresponding to the each and every row, suppose if i want to update any changes means i can update in it....
this is my application that i developed it is working well with in the sample schema apex 4.0..
What i did is i created a new workspace with APPS schema in it...and i have imported my application that i developed in sample schema to APPS schema....
Since after importing to APPS schema...when i tried to open the application, it is not showing any datas in it...That is due to the tables that are supporting the application is not in APPS schema, so what i did is i have given grant privilege to the respective tables and also i have created a synonym for accessing the table in APPS schema for supporting the application.....
Now if i tried to put any entries in the form in page 2, it is getting inserting in the report column which is also in the page2....
But my problem starts here, if i clicked the edit icon symbol in each and every row of the report column it is going to the page 3 which has a respective form fields, but it is not showing any entries in it automatically, and if i tried to put any entry in it, it is not getting updating in the report table......
why this problem occurred for my application in APPS schema....But my application works very well within the sample schema......why it is not showing any entries in the form automatically soon after i clicked the edit icon in each and every row.....
i couldn't know what is the real problem behind this..... help me friends.

First, try a system reset although I can't give you any confidence. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

I got problem and call to Oracle support and they use DUL for extract data from datafile to dump file and I import everything is done and no error but when I check in CLOB datatype that have space(blank character) separate each character see below

After Import
O R A C L E
So the application cannot execute those data.
Anyone have solution how to fix this problem?

if you use a direct insert you are restricted to 4000 characters.
You can put your value in a varchar2 variable and that allows you to insert up to 32767 characters.
