Transition not showing up the way it is 'supposed' to

I'm working on a small project, and I went to insert a Cross Zooom (I think that's the name) transition, which 'zooms' in, then out to the next clip, which is exactly what I want. However, when I render it, it does something completely different - it zooms out, (not in first), and does so after the exact point I had set it up at. I tried opening the transition, and changing the direction, and also tried changing to 'End on Edit', etc..., all three that were offered, and none of them are doing what it's doing pre-render, which is exactly what I want it to do. What could be causing this change to happen? I've never seen this, and I love to use this transition. Many thanks.

I'm not really sure whats going on, but a lot of times, when the clips are cut so that the entire clip is used it can mess with the transition. Like if you capture a ten second clip then start it at the very beginning, it wont have any roll in time for the transition to take effect. try starting the second clip a little later maybe and ending the first clip a little early.

* You can see the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions
* You can see all exceptions in Firefox > Preferences > Content: Load Images > Exceptions
* You can check the Tools > Page Info > Media tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images)
There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block images.

I have an iPod Touch but I currently don't have a PC. I found an app that would allow me to connect to my network drive and I was able to transfer music files to it. These files do not show under the Music app and I can't find any way to do it.

Unfortunately, these new files do not show under the Music app and I can't seem to find any way to convince the iPod that they are music. I can play them through the file manager only. Android doesn't have this problem, any music I put on my phone is recognized as music and can be played through any of the music apps. Am I missing something or is Apple to inflexible to handle this?

You can't. The only way to get songs in the Music app is to sync from a computer or to download from iTunes.

Glitchs like that sometimes happen
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If sit still reocurrs a lot, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Ok, the issue seem to be solved. The problem was this:
The many hundred files (raw and xmp per image) have been downloaded by ftp in no specific order. Means - a couple of files in the download queue - both raw and xmps. Most of the time, the small xmp files have been finished loading first and hence the "last change date" of these xmp files was OLDER than the "last change date" of the raw file - Lightroom then seem to ignore the existence of the xmp file and does not read it during import.(a minute is enough to run into the problem)
By simply using the ftp client in a way that all large raw files get downloaded first followed by the xmp files, we achieved that all "last changed dates" of the xmp files are NEWER than the related raw files. (at least not older)
And then LR is reading them and all metadata information has been set / read correctly.
So this is solved.

Quicktime Player should already be installed on the Mac. If you transferred Quicktime from a VAIO it will not run on a Mac -- no PC software will without using a special interface.
Right click or control+click on one of the files, then > Open with Quicktime Player.
I already suspect that since these files will not play completely on any of your devices that you have an incomplete download.

Songs are syncing to phone but some songs not showing in the playlist, you have to manually search for them...

All music is syncing across from my purchased items to my phone... However, some are missing from the 'purchased' playlist and I can only come across them when scrolling through the 'Artist' or 'Song' menu. I then have to manually add them back to my purchased playlist.
Is there any way to stop this?
I want all my 'purchased' songs in that playlist and then have all of my other music from CDs in their individual ones (which works fine).
This happens for about 5/6 every time and it's a nightmare trying to work out which ones are missing so to speak unless I stumble upon then.
So basically, the songs ARE on the phone but not showing in the playlist, just to make that clear.

This sounds very similar to an issue that I experienced. There was a phantom 6G assigned to movies even when no movies were on my iPad. I could make the phantom 6G come and go by checking/unchecking the "Sync Movies" box in iTunes.
First, try a system reset. It probably won't fix your problem but it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
There is one other thing that you can try but I don't want to describe it unless the above doesn't help.

I don't know why there has been doubt since post #12 where I explained that Ps must be running in 64-bit mode when more than 2100 MB RAM is reported in Preferences.

State machine site level workflow activated but not showing in the workflow list

I developed my state machine workflow using visual studio 2010 its successfully deployed; even I can see the feature is activated on site collection level, but its not showing in the list settings --> workflow settings --> add workflow Any Reason ??
note: I am working on share point 2010

I got the answer , actually I didn't experience it before with site workflows , it shows where we create a list just beside you can find site workflows, off course feature activation is necessary after that for workflow activation this is the way.

I experience this also sometimes (whatsapp), is this a bug??
sometimes when a person writes 2-3 messages in a row (for instance) in whatsapp (im in standby mode), it sometimes only displayes ONE message in lock screen mode (though he/she wrote more than 1), and sometimes shows the right corresponding written messages!
Why is this?
its really annoyoing when you get messages in lock screen mode BUT it doesnt stay and remain so you notice it. That way you get missed messages etc and notices it first...when doing the "pull-down list".

Glad 7.7.1 worked for you, I updated itunes on my macbook, and every time i try to sync the music to my ipod classic, it goes for 23 songs and then it freezes and I get "Cannot read or write to this disk", and it ejects it. I tried uninstalling itunes, reinstalling an earlier version (7.6.2) same problem, plus a new issue with itunes. (It was a clean uninstall, btw, I got everything cleaned out, I think, lol). Video's transfer fine. And no good way to get ahold of apple. That's great. If I have no music on my ipod, it's useless. Think they'll give me my money back? (lol)

MP4 crated in CC LR will not play all the way through.

I created an MP4 on CC LR that will not play all the way through on my web site. When I play it on our site it shows the first three images (there are a total of 26) and then starts over and yet when I play it from my Desktop it works perfectly. I have tried that setting but then the whole show is messed up, some pictures freeze and some just zip through. If i only choose one song it will repeat for the entire show, if I pick 3 songs only 2 will play and the rest of the show is silent.

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

I would like to use time Machine to back up to a network SMB drive. I can see the drive on my desktop but it will not show in the time machine window to be able to select it

I currently have a mini server (OSX10.8.5, server 2.2.2) that I am using Time Machine to back up 4 external drives that are connected to the server via firewire 800. I would like to use Time Machine to back up to a windows network SMB drive. I can see the drive on my desktop but it will not show in the time machine window to be able to select it for use.

The supported targets for Time Machine backups are local (direct-connected) disks, and network targets include Time Capsule, a disk hanging off the current-generation AirPort (though not earlier AirPort devices), and OS X Server systems.
The Time Machine storage is based on the HFS+ file system, so I would not expect TM to work with SMB file services.
While there are hacks to allow Time Machine to access network drives, I would not consider those to be reliable. Skim the forum and the 'net for related details, and for previous discussions of setting this up and the related issues that can arise.
Remember to test the recovery with whatever you decide to use; whole point of backups is the ability to restore the data, after all.
