Translate from english to another language

I have a report where I would like to translate english to french, spanish etc.
is there a funtion that will do this, or do i need to purchase a tool???

How do I translate an email in another language to English?

I received an email in French and would like to translate it but there is nothing on the toolbar to allow me to do so. I know it exists somewhere but I cannot find it.

Hi. I use the add-on "ImTranslate." Is is fairly accurate, and you can translate from English to French or French to English. When you go to tools/add-ons, do a search for "ImTranslate"

Premiere Pro interface : bad translations from english

Translating a software into many different languages can be a difficult task. But honestly, a software like Premiere Pro can't be that bad in translated terms. For example, the function "add edit" is translated in french "ajouter le montage", which is a direct translation from english and means nothing in french.
In the sequence menu, there's also a function called "afficher au moyen des montages", and I really have no idea what it means (4th function from the bottom of the menu) :
Based on this screenshot, could you tell me what the name of this function is in english, and how it works if you know it? Thanks!
Also if anyone wants to report translations error in this thread (in any languages), I'd love to compile them and send a feature request to Adobe so we can have a software with functions that make sense in other languages!

True it's not an easy term to translate though... but it really could be better than the french "afficher moyen des montages" which litteraly means : "show the mean of edits"... A better translation for it would be "afficher la continuité des raccords". Feel free to pass this on, it's my 2 cents on the subject!
But you're right, the simple solution not to be bothered with the translation problem would be to use the english version. In order to do that, I guess I have to set my language settings to english in the Creative Cloud app, then uninstall Premiere Pro, redownload, and reinstall. Is that correct?

I do not know the answer but if you look through the Add-ons under [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?q=translation translate] you may find something suitable. Here is the solution of changing the language of the Login Screen:

Essentially login with an admin account, open terminal and perform sudo languagesetup
It then lets you choose the default login language!

Templates part English, part another language

I just installed Pages '09. All of the templates are part English and part another language even tho the Text selection in Inspector is English.
What now?

2 countries, the USA and Britain seem to struggle with this. Thankfully I never got my education in either.
The "another language" is Latin. Misquotes from Cicero to be exact.
All it does is show you what the text looks like and if you simply clicked in it you would find it is instantly selected and replaced by whatever you type or paste.
All explained in the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf downloadable from under the Help menu and in the Apple video tutorials in the same place. Also offered to you in the *Welcome to Pages*.

Is there a way I can type in English but have it translate my words into another language?

I speak english. I want to be able to type the English words and have them translated into other languages. Japanese kanji, katagana, hiragana in my specific case. I tried using text input, but it just translates a letter at a time making my word a mix in English letters and Katagana characters.

Custom OA page (no personalization) translation from English to Spanish

I have a custom OA page with no personalizations. I need to translate it into "Latin American Spanish".
The steps I've done as of now are:
1. Ran the following command from D:\RUP6\jdevbin\jdev\bin>

2. Changed the <target></target> text to Spanish equivalent for all <trans-unit> tags

Result:
The page shows the standard messages and prompts (like Search Region Go button etc) in Spanish, but my custom buttons, labels prompts are still in English.
I ran the following and I was able to see the translations correctly

Hi Manoj,
Have you looked at the Internationlisation section of the dev guide, Ive not done transalations before but this seems to be what you are looking for.
In the Dev Guide search for Translating Personalizations Stored in MDS and click on Internationalization, then look at the language sections from there you will see a link for Translating Personalizations Stored in MDS. It seems to indicate you need to specify which OAF elements get translated, this is for personalisations but the concept should be the same.

Keeping user interface in English while another language is 1st in the list

Hi, I am looking for a solution to UI taking the language selected first in "International" system prefs panel. I do need to have proper localization under the hood of all language-aware applications, but keep the UI in English.
Tom Gewecke had once posted a solution for a similar case with iTunes (thanks a lot btw): get info for the app and uncheck unneeded languages. I'd love to use it for Finder as well, but don't know what app to get info for in this case:)

Things were always this way since there was no such thing as an official Russian interface until 10.5.
That's not exactly true. 10.4 on intel macs also had Russian localization at some point.

But the trick with removing Russian.lproj could be my answer now like it was in iTunes. What app can I remove it from to make sure ALL menus stay in English throughout the OS?
Unfortunately there may be a lot of them. Do a search of your System folder for ru.lproj.
I think it might be easier to reinstall your OS. At the point of that process where you are allowed to customize, you find the languages item and just uncheck the box for Russian. That should make your OS just like it was in 10.4.

Dynamic menu problem when chaning from english to arabic language

am working on Dynamic Menu its working fine in English when i convert this same menu in Arabic its working fine but the sub menu has some margin...if we set the margin then again for 2nd main menus submenu is not coming
