Translate Smartform

Hello,
I have to modify an existing Smartform so that it will also display Text in Ukrainian language.I have worked with several Smartforms and used the Standard text with all the required languages but this Smartform is different know.
I have a lot of hardcoded text fields in the Smartform which are displayed in the logon language,so if i log in to the system in german it will be in german and if i log on in english ,the hardcoded texts will be in english.
How is this Smartform built and how can i see the languages in which it is in the system?

Do all your trasnlations and SAVE and SAVE n ACTIVE   3 to 4 times

T/Code > Smartform>Global Settings -->genreal attributes Tab > Set flag (Radio Button)transaltionTo all languages/ Restricted languages
Please set this flag.
STEP2:
Translation:
Use T/code SE63>Translation(Menubar)>R3 enterprise> Other Long Texts>select " SSF"-->Enter Smartform name and from language and destination language.
STEP3:
Transporting translations :
Please execute the following program for transporting translations : RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER
Target language = * or Target transalation lang.
Object type = SSF
Then Press Create Transport Request button. Create Request.
Then include all your translations to that request.

Please help me out in translating a smartform from language FR (French) to EN.
I have a smartform which was initially written in FR (french) and now it needs to be translated to EN.
Please let me a full procedure to translate a smartform, including the Tcodes and the step-by-step procedure for the same.

Hi All,
I do have an issue while converting a SMARFORM using se63.
I was trying to convert my EN Smart form to FR (French) .
I followed the below mentioned steps ;
_Logged in EN (English)
-->>_Gone to se63
-->gone to translation->abap obj->other long text->select ssf sap smartform
-->gave the SMART FORM name
-->given translation are :999999 (abap system)
--> Source language (English) & Targe Language (French)
--> clicked on EDIT
when i follow these and click on EDIT i am getting this ERROR " Form or text yfipayment does not exis_t" (Message no. SMARTFORMS200). but actually the smarform really exists but its showing error as does not exist.
Then,
i *tried loggin in using FR (French)* and followed the same procedure and got
a warning saying "Objet non trouvé" (N° message SAPMTRAN010)
can anyone help me on this issue..

Translation Problem in Smartforms.

Dear Experts,
Facing a problem with the translations of the smart forms into the diff languages.
I have maintained the translations based upon the condition like below.
If Spras = 'E'. (English)
Text = 'Order'
else.
if spras = 'D'. (Germany )
Text = 'Bestellen'
if spras = 'N'. (Dutcj)
Text = Bestel.
The translations are working fine while with log in language as English ---Smart form original lang is also English......
But the problem arises with log in language as NL(Dutch)....i am just getting the forms output in english lang only...Can you please check the same.

Also check the form attributes / language attributes in the smartform and check if the INTO ALL LANGUAGES radio button is selected. And when you login into SAP in EN ( default ) language, it should automatically translate.

I translated my smartform via SE63 but now I want to use gs_labels to translate the layout, can I do that? because at first I used SE63, now I don't know if gs_labels will conflict with SE63 translation, can you tell me the principle of SE63 and GS_LABELS, thank you in advance!

At first I translated my smartform via SE63, but I found using se63 to translate smartform is not good, I want to try to use ZSSDLABLES(a structure) and TTDTG(Pooled table which contains the value of the fields in the structure, the value is language dependant), do you know what I mean? I need to define a variable called gs_labels(gs_labels type ZSSDLABELS) in the global data tab of the smartform, and call a function to retrieve the value of every field in gs_labels in the initialization tab of the smartform.

Smartform Translations

Hi All,
I created few smartforms in development system and i translated them into different languages by logon into that particular language. I last activated one smartform in english language. Now i have to make modifications to the japanese content through Production Support system. For this i logon into production support system with logon language as 'JA'. When am opening the smartform in Display mode i can see the japanese content. But when i am opening the smartform in change mode the content of the smartform was displaying in english , how to solve this issue.

Transport Request for SE63 Translation of Smartforms

Hello,
In my company we use Solution manager through which transport requests (workbench or customizing) are generated.
All these TRs are assigned to some project.
My requirement is when i translate smartform through SE63 it doesn't ask for request. To transfer form in TR separate tcode is there SLXT. Using this tcode we can transfer translations in new TR. But we cant use existing TR, and TR created using SLXT is not assigned to any project from Solman so cant release to LXQ. So i need to take help of BASIS person and it takes long time and approvals to transfer translation form from new request to existing .
Request solution for this.

Hi Sachin,
You can manually create TR using SE09 / SE10. and include your object inside it. For Smartform translations object type should be SSFO and program ID should be LANG.

Regading Smartform Translation

Hi All,
There is a requirement in our project where i need to translate smartforms into different langugages. I am logging into SAP system with corresponding language and translating them. So for translating into turkish language when i am trying to logon into SAP system with 'TR' language it was giving me an error like 'Select one of the installed languages' which means Turkish language is not installed in our system.Is there any other way to translate into turkish languge?

I dont think so u can translate into non installed languges
You have an option for smartform while creating if the radio button translate into all languages is check or not..
if it is checked then we can transalate into all the languages in which system was installed... you will get a F4 help while translation with all the languages which your system has , just check if you have turkesh language in it.
check table T002C for all the Possible langugues in sap
table SMLT for list of installed languges in SAP.

Smartform translations deleted when activating smartform

I made some changes to a particular smartform. Problem is that when i activate these changes, all translations (done via SE63) are deleted. Is there any way to prevent this, cause i don't feel like translating the smartform every time i change something?

SE63 Smartforms: Change translation order

Im translating a Smartforms trough SE63...
the imported source text (particular the textelement) appears in alphabetic order... my smartform is pretty huge... and I would prefer the logical order of the textelemt how they appear in my smartform...
is there a way to change the order ?
ideas ?? : )

Translating smartforms with SE63 is a real pain in the developer's life. It's a though work, without any help from SE63. Even the search function does not work. I don't think your wish could be performed either.

Need smartform output in different languages

Hi expert,
Can you please let me know how can I see the output of a smartform in different languages. I'm seeing the output of a sales order. I have three output types . ZZAC,ZZ00, ZZ01. The smarform is developed with the language attributes of Translate into all languages. Is it required to convert the forms in SE63? or there are other ways we can see it.
I need the output in all the languages like FR,EN,DE,IT,ES ,EN etc.

Try This... hope it will solve your problem....
To maintain the translations:
1. Go to transaction SE63 in R/3. Go to menu Translation->R/3 Enterprise->Other Long Texts.
2. Select the object type in the pop up. Smartform (SSF) object type is found under Forms and Styles(FS).
3. Enter the name of the Smart form and choose the source and target language(Let the Source Language be 'EN'). Now Click on 'EDIT'.
4. This would open a screen with the Smartform code in Source language on the top and an editor with the same code in the bottom. Find the text for which you need to maintain the translation and insert the translation in that place.
As usual after required texts are maintained Save and Activate.
To see the translated Smartform create an output type and assign the smartform and the driver program to this output type. In the transaction that sends output to this smartform, select the output type and select the language in which the smartform has to be displayed (translations have to be maintained in this language).This will give the smartform in the required language.

SmartForm only in english

Hello experts,
we want to use a Smartform as a reminderMail for activities.
Problem:
This Smartform should be able in english only. But if a user log on in german a translate SmartForm will be send.
Settings:
In the Global Settings of this Smartform we set the radio button "Do Not Translate".
In action definition we use the prosessing type "External Communication" with the Format CRM_ACTIVITY_EXEC_SF.
Can somebody help me?

must it be a smartform? Wouldn't it be easier to implement your own implementation of the BAdI EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF and create the E-Mail there?

Junk characters in email body only for specific user IDs

While sending mail from SAP I am using
        SENDER = CL_SAPUSER_BCS=>CREATE( LV_SENDER_ADD ).
        CALL METHOD SEND_REQUEST->SET_SENDER
          EXPORTING
            I_SENDER = SENDER.
now while using 'User1' and 'User2' in LV_SENDER_ADD give a perfect result.
But while using 'User3' and 'User4' in LV_SENDER_ADD sends Junk chars in the email body

(I am converting the XSF output of Smartform and SCP_TRANSLATE_CHARS to translate smartform output into HTML)
all the above four user have SAP_ALL authorization.
'user4' is created as a copy of 'user1'
Checking the Type CMOD says that they are call to 'C' routine 'kernal calls'
the above code is executed withe the user id of user1 2 3 4 and all of them give the same results.
when ever the sender is user1 or user2 the transmission is successful else. sends junk chars.

Could you tell us why/how you use SCP_TRANSLATE_CHARS?
Do theseusers have same language/country in their profile?

Can we get a output in different languages for the same configuration done in NACE. or it is language specific.
They have symbols which have values both in german and english. But when we run the transaction we are getting the output only in german language.We want the out put in english
language.

A Smartform can be maintained in many languages other than the language that it is created. Translations for the texts have to be maintained for this purpose.
To maintain the translations:
Go to transaction SE63 in R/3.
