Translation Dictionary Based on English/English Dictionary

Hi,
I am sorry, I don't know where this post should go since there is no such category.
I want to create an English/other language/English dictionary for online publishing. I did extensive searches but was not able to find anything suitable.
Ideally, I would like to load an English/English dictionary and go in and edit the definitions of words into the language of my choice. Thereafter, I want to publish the dictionary online either as a database or as a flat HTML pages based on the alphabet.
Can someone help me?

I didn't realize that the said website has a Lebanese keyboard. I can see that their work is futile. I've already told these guys that trying to invent new characters to pronounce sounds not available in English is useless because people are naturally lazy and want the easy way i.e. what you write is what you say. They did not listen to me and went ahead with a complex system that will go no where.
What actually is in use all over Lebanon is they write Lebanese using the same characters we use with three exceptions where numbers are used to represent sounds not available in English. They are number 2, 3 and 7. That's it and a combination of 2 sets of characters KH and GH. This is all a person who needs to read Lebanese in Latin characters needs to learn. Hey folks!
** I did not find the right community to ask this question, maybe you can guide me? **
I am coping with something annoying for a long time. Since english is not my mother tongue and I am doing studies in that language, I spend a lot of time searching for translations. Up to now, I am always switching between an internet translator tool and my document.
So, has anyone an idea about how to add a "translation dictionary to Apple's in-build Dictionary App"? I found other topic about this kind of question on the internet, but none of them is working. Either the website from which we are suppose to download the dictionary is expired or the downloading doesn't work (or maybe I am not able to follow the steps?).
Maybe someone knows a little bit more about it?
PS: In my case it would be a french-english dictionary

I live in Mexico. On my old computer it was set up so aIl webpages were automatically translated from Spanish to english for me. I can not recall how I set this up. Ideas?

The large extension that I indicated looks like overkill has an automatic translation option if I read the description properly.
I really only need to translate an occasional page and use the translate bookmarklet ("TR:").

SEM 4.0 - BPS Planning Function - Currency Translation (Account Based) !

Hi,
Currently we are migrating from SEM 3.1 to SEM 4.0 and we are using Currency Translation (Account Based)and would like to use the same functionality, but for some reason the CT functionality is not working properly. It is throwing garbage numbers in SEM 4.0.
Is anyone out there facing similar problem on the Currency Translation (Account Based) functionality on SEM 4.0. Appreciate your help.

We are working on Integrated Planning(IP). We are currently using a key figure based model, where in we have 0amount, 0amocac and 0amoccc for transactional currency, controllling area currency and object currency amounts.
If we go with account based model for keyfigures, i.e by taking currency type as 00, 20, 10 , we have a problem with the currency translation functions.
Could you please let us know, how we can handle currency translation with the account based model?

Translation of German to English.

I have a small issue :
We have written a small program that captures all the code comments contained in a program. The challenge was to conver all the German codes to English after capturing all the code comments. Now that we have captured all the code comments , It is not possible to differentiate between the English and German comments, Because this program of ours has captured all the comments both English and German. While I need to see only the German comments.
Please advice..

Dear smitha12,
the extract program may be run for the programs of different source languages, but even that will not help you much.
If the programmer works in a German-speaking environment, he will probably use german as logon language creating German source language programs by default. But if responsible or forced by company rules, he will write all comments in English.
If you put the comments altogether into google translate German->English, only the german parts will be translated. Then you can pass them on as "OK, all english"

What happen to auto translation from German to English??

I use a German web site sometime. I used to get it auto translation to English but now it doesn't do this how do I reset this. Seems to be since the latest up date

Same thing happened to me, though mine now says 10/7, I think because I ordered the 64gb version of the 6 plus. So disappointing that Verizon can't shoot straight with answers to these questions, and who knows why mine order was caught in the fraud department. It's never happened before and seemed to be awfully coincidental that it happened as stock for these was limited. Using it as excuse for delaying this shipment? I learned my lesson though and will be ordering through Apple directly or somewhere like BestBuy in the future.
I've filed a complaint with the BBB in regards to this issue with them. Chances are nothing will come of it and I'll never see a resolution till after they get their heads out of the arses.

Hi,
you should specify what kind of text you wish to translate. To translate a text, you should know the object type and the object ID. If the text is on an initial screen of a transaction, it is with a good chance a screen painter text or a data element. You can ask for the object ID with System -> Status or with F1 on the text element and than technical info.
Than choose se63 -> SCRT or DTEL. For SCRT, you should use wildcard for search for the screen number.

Acrobat 8 Auto Translate to Japanese from English Web Page

Every time I try to create a printed page and save as a PDF the PDF distiller creates a Webpage that is half english (the HTML portion) and the Form data is published ine Japanese. Does anyone know how to correct this issue. This is a particular issue since I try to all payment confirmations from any purchase webpage to my showing payments made and confirmed. Hell I do not even have Japanese fonts installed on my machine? I would love to show examples but the info has private information on it. Any clues?

This sign typically appears when the database character set doesn’t support the language you are trying to store in it. Is your database character set supports Chinese?
A bit more information on your APEX environment – versions of both APEX and database, Web server etc., can also help understand your situation.
