    so i need to change those messages into korean,japanese,chinese simplified and chinese traditional

    Hello,
    Message which is hard coded cannot be translated automatically.
    You can try the code as shown below, but you need the help of a translator or you should know the languages in which you want to give the message or use google translator
    IF SY-LANGU = 'EN'.
      Message in English.
    ELSEIF SY-LANGU = 'ZH'.
      Message in Chinese.
    ELSEIF SY-LANGU = 'KO'.
      Message in Korean.
    ENDIF.
    or
    PARAMETERS : LANGU TYPE LAISO.
    IF LANGU = 'EN'.
      Message in English.
    ELSEIF LANGU = 'ZH'.
      Message in Chinese.
    ELSEIF LANGU = 'KO'.
      Message in Korean.
    ENDIF.
    or else go for SE63 to translate the messages

  • Translated headstart messages in French and German

    Hi,
    Does anyone have the Headstart65 messages translated in French and German?
    Many thanks,
    Stefan

    Hi,
    You can maintain the translations for the messages using the transaction SE91.You can create the messages using English language 'EN' and maintain the translation in other languages.
    Using the menu path GOTO -> Translation, you can specify the translations for any language by selecting the desired language from the drop down list.
    Hope this helps.Please get back in case of any clarification needed.

  • How do I translate POPUP Message Text in Web dynpro program?

    I have hardcoded some Text message for POPUP inside webdynpro program. It works properly for English Language. But not getting translated for other languages. So how do i solve this.? Can i make use of OTR text or Text Elements here?  I am new to Webdynpro. Please clarify.
    My Code :
      ls_text = 'You want to cancel changes...Are you sure?'.
      INSERT ls_text INTO TABLE lt_text.
    lo_window = lo_window_manager->create_popup_to_confirm( text = lt_text
      button_kind     = if_wd_window=>co_buttons_yesno
      message_type    = if_wd_window=>CO_MSG_TYPE_WARNING
      window_title    = 'Information to Confirm...'
      window_position = if_wd_window=>co_center ).
    Regards,
    Anand R

    Hi Anand,
    You can make use of OTR text.
    - Use TCode SOTR_EDIT to create OTR Text
    - Get the text with FM  SOTR_GET_TEXT_KEY by passing ALIAS, LANGU and receive the text in E_TEXT parameter.
    Hope it helps. Cheers!

  • Translate delete message "Action Processed"

    Hi all,
    Is there a way to translate the message "Action Processed". This message appears after a delete action.
    My application language is Dutch.
    I tried with the dynamic translation repository but it did not work.
    I do not want to translate the whole application.
    Raoul

    Hi Raoul,
    edit the process responsible for this delete action ( if it's a standard tabular form it's called "ApplyMRD" ) and edit the "Process Success Message", the message is hardcoded.
    Regards
    Bas

  • Translate OTR message

    I don't know where this subject shoud be put. Since this issue occurred when i developing wd4a, i put it here.
    when an invalidate date was entered, the dynpro will prompt a message ''2010/09/31' ist ein ungültiges Datum. " with language DE. I know the text concept id '42E77505469C2AC7E10000000A1146E5' but i don't know how to translate it into language ZH.
    i tried t-code SOTR_EDIT and find the concept through package SABP, but cannot create new language for the otr text.

    There is also a translation "tool" for OTR translations that is freely available on SCN - it is nice to use in that it makes it much easier to see which text needs translations
    [OTR Text Translation Tool for Web Dynpro ABAP|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/WDABAP/OTRTextTranslationToolforWebDynpro+ABAP]
    Actually if you just enter the term "OTR" in the Wiki search you will find lots of documentation on how to achieve your aims!
    Good luck,
    Chris

  • Translating Internal Messages

    Hi APEX folks,
    I am having some issues to translate internal messages. Basically, I want to translate APEX internal messages to French. As I understand in page http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10513_01/doc/appdev.310/e10499/global.htm#insertedID1 APEX should be already translated in French.
    In that case, I would expect that this SQL statement would return "1 error has occurred" and "Actions Menu".
    SELECT APEX_LANG.MESSAGE('FLOW.SINGLE_VALIDATION_ERROR'), APEX_LANG.MESSAGE('APEXIR_ACTIONS_MENU') FROM DUAL
    However, it returns "FLOW.SINGLE_VALIDATION_ERROR" and "APEXIR_ACTIONS_MENU".
    Any idea why I do not have translated messages? How to check that internal messages are translated? Should I be able to see translated messages in view APEX_APPLICATION_TRANSLATIONS?
    For your information, I already started my application translation and it is working fine. Only those internal messages are not available...
    Thanks for your help
    Karl

    Hello Karl,
    >> APEX should be already translated in French
    This is only partially true, and you need to look into the big picture.
    The APEX Application Builder is translated into French. However, in order to use it in French you need to upload the French language. Only then, all the internal messages will also be available in French.
    If, as I understand it, you are working with the English version of the Application Builder (which is the default installation version), and you want to continue doing so, without loading the French version, you will need to manually translate the internal messages into French.
    For some reason I don’t have access to the download.oracle.com/doc/ server, so I can’t give you an exact references, but you can find a detailed explanation on how to upload more languages into the APEX IDE in the installation guide. It seems that you are already familiar with the Globalization chapter in the User’s Guide.
    Regards,
    Arie.

  • How To Change Standard Message Language?

    Dear All
    I have a atrribute, whose  data type is  integer .It is bounded to a inputfield .
    When i launch the application ,and input a string in the inputfield ,after i  trigger a event ,it return a wrong message in German language ?
    So can anybody give me some tips about how to change the message language in English?
    Thanks In Advance .

    Dear Eleanor,
    Please look at following settings in given order to see if language is set as German (de).
    1. URL - is language being passed as parameter (sap.locale)? [This is valid only if you are the Developer of application]
    2. Your User ID - Is your default language set as German?
    3. Browser - Is your Browser's default language German?
    4. Is 'defaultlocale' property of application set as German?
    5. Is default language of project German?
    6. JVM default is German?
    You should find the answer to your question in one of these 6 locations. Please note that value in 1 will override values of 2-6. Similarly value in 2 will override value in 3-6 and so on.
    Hope this helps.

  • Which team can help if the name of iView is not translated in other languag

    Hi All,
    Do you know which team can help if the name of iView is not translated in other language such as Portuguese?
    Thanks,
    Eda

    Above statement is correct: contact Portal Team to debug the iView/application.
    But you need to also check with your IT team - because it might be the case that the proper browser setting/network setting is figured to be EN (English - assuming).
    To test, you yourself can verify if it's the case, change the browser language to Portuguese and test the application. If it gets translated to Portuguese, then that means it's the browser/network/ISP setting/configuration.

  • Translated wire message missing some values

    Hi,
    I am enqueuing an EDIFACT xml to B2B out queue (IP_OUT_QUEUE) which is getting converted to wire message and delivered correctly. But the translated wire message is missing some values:
    UNH segment of EDIFACT xml:
    <Segment-UNH>
    <Element-0062>1</Element-0062>
    <Composite-S009>
    <Element-0065>ORDERS</Element-0065>
    <Element-0052>D</Element-0052>
    <Element-0054>07B</Element-0054>
    <Element-0051>UN</Element-0051>
    </Composite-S009>
    </Segment-UNH>
    Starting part of wire message:
    UNA:+.? 'UNB+UNOB:1+ + +100407:2354+1003'UNG+ORDERS+ + +100407:2354+1003+UN+D:07B'UNH+1+ORDERS'BGM+105:::?' ?'+GSIAP.WORLD?:oracle.apps.po.event.xm::?'
    In wire message, 'UNH+1+ORDERS' - this portion is not having values of Element-0052, Element-0054 and Element-0051. Why are this values ('D','07B','UN') missing in the translated wire message?
    How can I make them appear in wire message?
    Appreciate your help.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Siddhesh

    Hi Siddhesh,
    Check your ecs file. Possibly you have not defined these params in ecs file.
    Enable the validation then you will come to know exact issue.

  • Message language determination

    How does the Message language get determined in the output (NAST-SPRAS)?

    Hi Obadiah,
    The language of the text is determined by the 3 different levels,
    1) By the language defined in the output condition records for that output.
    2) If the language is not mentioned in the output record, it would be picked from the customer masters record. But here there is a twist that the customer master data(sold to party in sales order, ship-to in delivery) copied into sales order could be changed from the partner tab in the header.
    3) from the users profile.
    The preference followed is in the order mentioned above.
    But if you are using the SAP Scripts in the older versions then you might have a problem that a part of the output is in different language than the rest of the output. So if you have this problem please let me know.
    regards,
    Abhishek

  • Sherlock gets No translation available message

    This happened to me a few weeks ago, then it started working again. This morning I tried to tanslate "Hello" from English to Spanish (as a simple test) and I got "No translation available."
    Anyone know why this is happening? I have an 8 year old that loves translating stuff and know he can't. Is there a problem with SYSTRAN, the complany that supplies the content.
    Can anyone suggest an application that we can switch to? My son is trying to learn Greek and is always translating to that language. I need something that can do what Sherlock does on the translation tab.
    Thanks,
    Alfredo

    Hi Harikrishnan,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you used Machine Translation Service in SharePoint 2013.
    Firstly , make sure the Machine Translation Service is running on ‘Manage sercies on server’.
    Then , do the followings:
    1. Ensure the Machine Translation Service application has web access:
    2. Validate the MachineTranslationAddress, MachineTranslationClientId, and MachineTranslationCategory for the Machine Translation Service application
    More information, please refer to the link :
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj729796.aspx
    In addition, there is a similar blog, please take a look at:

  • Translate internal messages per workspace or globally

    I want to translate internal messages, as described in the manual:
    http://apex.oracle.com/i/doc/global_mess_reports.htm
    However, this is done per application. That's a lot of work every time.
    Is it possible to do this per workspace or, even better, globally?

    Hi jfosteroracle,
    You are getting the error may be the following reason,
    Check the following,
    Login as ADMIN and Goto -->Manage Instance-->Instance Settings--> Mail-->Maximum Emails per workspace
    Actually this number denotes the Number of mails can be sent per 24 hour for the workspace,It may exceeded.
    It may be the reason.
    Thank you.
