Translation of plant description

Hello,
i want to maintain the plant description (T001W; T001W_BIW) in different languages. The Translation function in Customizing is inactive. Can i solve this problem with SE63? If yes, which objects should i use?

Hello Andreas,
I am afraid that this is standard. Table T001W is not language-dependend, so that only 1 description can be maintained per Plant.

Problem in SC with plant description

Hi Experts,
i have a problem with the specific plant(Eg:IN01).i have created this plant in R3 and replicated to SRM through BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL.
when i create a SC for a any product.i found that the description of the plant that appears is my vendor address.
i have checked the description of plant in org structure it remains same as the backend system.
we dont follow info records.this is a classic scenario.
could some one suggest what could have went wrong.

as sanjeev suggested you can run the report if ecc plant descrition is incorrect for WRK attribute .
where did you see vendor address instead of plant. explain ? in which basic data?

SRM 7.0 - Translation of the description of attributes in table T770MATTR

I need to translate the description texts of custom attributes in table T770MATTR using SE63. Currently I'm looking for the object type of these texts, but unfortunately I couldn't find it so far. Can anybody help me regarding this issue?

Hello Timo,
Don't know using SE63 transaction.
Nevertheless, being in OOATTRCUST transaction, double click onto 'Attributes' folder in order to be able to select attributes you want to translate. Then, in the menu bar, select Goto > Translation.
Select, in the pop-up, langue for which you want to give a translation. Now you can write the translations for corresponding attributes.
By saving, a transport request will be created.

Translate TAX code description

Hi everybody,
We have created a new tax indicator for germany (Transaction FTXP).
Once it's created, If we log on to the system in a different language than deutsch the description of the tax code doesn't appear.
Is there any standard transaction to translate these descriptions to another languages?
In transaction SE63 we can traduce table entries but I'm looking for another solution without using this transaction.

Hi,
the description are in following table :
T-code : FTXP Table : T007S
If not installed Required language, it shows only EN, TAXXX So, it seems you first check if XX language installed correctly.
It is not possible in the standard to translate the tax names in additional languages without that it is neccessary to logon in different target languages and to enter the tax names several times in transaction "FTXP"
You must logon in the language in order to manintain or see the corresponding texts.

Destination plant, description, material are editable for movement type 313

Hello
We are using movement type 313 for the transfer posting between storage location. We use MIGO for the same.
Ideally for the movement type 313, the destination plant and material should not be visible. We enter the material, batch,plant and storage locaiton in "From" side and enter only the storage location in "To" side of the MIGO screen. But now suddently after the EHP4 upgrade, we could able to enter the plant and materil in the "To" side also.
I checked the Field selections in OMJJ for movement type 313 and found that plant and material fields are suppressed.
Do you have any clue on why suddenly i am facing this problem and what could be possible solution.

Storage Location Description in Languages apart from EN (Translation)

I maintained the description of Storage location in English.
Please help me to maintain the translation of this description in other languages
For Ex: In english EN description will be "Storage Location"
in German this will be "Lagerort"

Do you mean that, we can not maintain descriptions in different languages? Hence my objective of maintaining as shown in my example (This is the requirement from client) can not be fullfilled by standard SAP? Is it possible by any other method through ABAP developments?

Translate a changed field description in Web Dynpro

Dear all,
i have changed a the field description "Accounting Number" into "Personnel Number" in a Web Dynpro.
(via SE80 -> Package GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST -> Web Dynpro Application GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_SUBMISSION -> Tab "User details")
If I test to dipslay the Web Dynpr in German or Englisch, I have the same description in Englisch.
Does someone now, how to translate the field description.

Translating Task Description

Hi,
When I am including User Decision step in my Workflow, the standard task is added with description like
"Choose one of the decision options given. This completes the processing of this step...etc., "
If I am logging in using other language say 'Danish' then also this task description is appearing English only.
Is there any way that I can do the translation for the task description & use it for other logon languages??

Yes. I have the option to translate workitem text from workflow. I have done that already.
1) But I want to translate the Task Description for the particular task in PFTC. In the description tab of the task, there is an option to select other languages. For Std. Task, I am getting the option of 'Danish'. But for custom task I have created, Iam not getting the option 'Danish'.
2) Also I dont know how to use this option. I have logged on using English language. I want to add Danish description.So In which language I should maintain the description?
How can I acheive this?

Material Description in Sales Order based on Ship to Party Language

As we know that Material Description coming in Sales Order is based on the Language setup in Sold to Party. Is there any way I can get the Material description based on the Language setup in Ship to Party?
If not in Sales Order then anyway I can get the Material description based on the Language setup in Ship to Party in "Delivery" or do I have to use the user exit to do so?

c u can even take language description from sold to party, as u wanted from Ship to party. for this u just have to maintain language in alternate data tab in CMR.

Display 0plant charactericics details( t.code rsd1 ), goto tab Business Explorer , it should have key & text option in display (You can change description & other option also here ). If it selected here key & text go to query disigner & change the option as suggested by exprts.

Translation of ITS Screen Parameters in ECC 6.0

Hi ,
I have added 3 new parameters to ITS Screen , need to translate the parameter description to FR language .
Need help on how to maintain the language translation to the ITS screen parameters in ECC 6.0
Please find below are my findinds
1. In the main menu GOTO - Translation option is disabled
2. I Saw in application help this can be done by place holder and Compare parametrs icon , but in the screen i did not find any Compare icon
3. I tried to give the description by Login in other language , but when i login to English language , the Other language description only showing
