Transparent border of the hotspot

How can I get the border of the hotspot to be transparent? I am trying to get the user to select part of an image

Are you referring to a Hotspot Question type?
Are you referring to a Click Box or Transparent Button?
Can you insert an image of what you are seeing? (Please use the camera icon to do this)

Apply a border to the chart in HTML report

Hi,
I am generating an html report as the final output for my LV program. I have a few graphs that i have added to the report using the append control image to report tool. I have set the image on the control panel to be transperent so that it is printer friendly when i print out the html report. Everything works fine but there is no border around the axis, i.e. there is no solid line that defines x axis and y axis for the graphs. Is there is a property tool that can be used to set this?

I have used this trick alot. One thing that I found is that if you make the color inside the graph white instead of transparent you will get the results that you are looking for. I usually make the outside of my graph transparent and the inside of my graph white and it looks good.

How to get rid of the black border around the artboard

Hopefully my last question for tonight.
I need to get rid of the black border around the artboard. The two images show my drawing lined up with the art board and then inside the artboard. The dark gray is not the artboard.
As you see, the artboard has a black border. I need to get rid of it. It shows up in my project when my color key is green. The black won't go to transparent.
So how-to get rid of the border? Thanks

I figured it out. View > Hide Artboards. Maybe this will help someone. Doesn't change the fact my spider looks like a tick:)

A simple dialog with semi-transparent border (MFC)

I have to make a image dialog with semi-transparency border in MFC.
I had web surfing all the day and found this solution in the codeproject.

But it creates two dialogs to make a semi-transparent dialog and the mechanism was so complex.
And the release of the dialog object is difficult so that it may have memory leaks.
I want a dialog (background is an image) with a semi-transparent border (corner - rounded).
And I have to make it with only one dialog. If it's possible, how can I do it?

The child control will become semi-transparency as your dialog.
Do you want to show some child control on your dialog? If yes, you need the second dialog to host your child control.

How to to print an .indd document with a border around the edge?

I have an Indesign document that I want to print with a slight border around the edge.
I print this after exporting it as a PDF. But when I choose the various combinations of 'print printer's marks' in the export settings, none of them seem to work.
I want just a simple thin border line around the edge of the document to print. I don't want the interior body to print (which it sometimes does).
I know this can be done, because on some of my .indd documents it works... but I can't figure out what I did to get it to print that way.

Thanks... the visible guides setting change took away the purple interior rectangle.
But it still doesn't print the border outline.
Here in text form is a summary of the .indd file settings that does print a border correctly, as I like it to.
The relevant paragraph under Marks and Bleed has crop marks off... and document bleed settings on.
I wonder what I'm missing? Sometimes I wished Adobe just used plain english... like 'print border outline of document'!

I have 3 questions,Audio/Video Remote Control HID driver windows 8 fails to install code 32, trying to use usb tether connection rather then using WiFi to connect Laptop and iPhone. can only connect using wifi. Last quest. about the hotspot bar.

Is there a way to change the transparency setting on the new Yosemite? I really hate it!

I recently downloaded OS X Yosemite, and the only thing I'm having a problem with is the transparency of all the windows. I can't find anywhere to change it in the System Preferences. Any advice?

In System Preferences, choose Accessibility, then select Display from the items on the left, and check the box next to "Reduce transparency". I have also heard that checking "Increase contrast" will reduce the transparency more, but all I can confirm is that it does indeed increase the contrast---too much for my taste.

Just curious: Why whould you want to add navigation Rules at run time. I believe the navigation rules should be set to begin with - "by s/w Architect Design".
Else you can always use Redirect / Forward.

I purchased an Italian hotspot to access internet on my American Ipad2 while abroad. I had no trouble connecting to the hotspot but when I try and access the internet it "cannot connect to the server". what does that mean and how can I fix it?

I am abroad for the summer and there is no internet available. I purchased a hotspot in a nearby vodaphone and they helped me connect the Ipad to the hotspot. I assumed I would have no trouble after that. Once I got home though and connected to the hotspot i found i could not open the internet without getting a notice about not connecting to the server. I have a signal and can connect to the hotspot and yet i get no internet. I already spent 50 euro on the hotspot for 2 months of wifi...is there a way to actually fix the problem without me having to spend more money?

I'm guessing e mail does not work either. While the pad is seeing the network, it is not yet connecting, probably trying to work through your security set up. I suggest you go to settings, then network, then the details of the network. Do you see an ip address that starts with 192.168.1. Then some number? If not, the router has not made friends with the pad.
Suggest that from that same screen, you select 'forget this network'. Then start over again, paying close attention to what happens when you provide the security password.

You would need an image editor to edit the images and add a border to the image first before importing them into Final Cut.

Robohelp 8 for Word: Problem with the Hotspot Topic

Hello Everybody:
I'm a beginner user of Robohelp 8 for Word trial version. My project is a WinHelp 2000, imported from a version X3, and I have a problem with Robohelp when I save the value "Topic" of the property "Jump" of the tab what is called "General" at the window "Hotspot Properties". This Hotspot is part of a Shed Image (accesible from Help Image Properties > Shed ... > Image Workshop > Properties button). After edit the topic, I press the "Aceptar" (OK) button (note that I use a Windows XP SP3 Spanish Version and some buttons are located) and close the Hotspot Properties window, and I close Image Workshop window too.
If immediately after I open the Image Workshop window and the same hotspot property window edited before, Robohelp lose the new value "Topic" and only it puts one letter. When I make the compilation they are multiple errors like this: HC3025: Warning: ESTA0058_2.SHG : Jump to undefined Topic ID: "A".
Please, help me. Thank you very much.

The licence you bought was for RoboHelp Office which includes both the RoboHelp for Word and RoboHelp HTML applications. Each of these three has it's own installation file so I suspect that they have installed just the RoboHelp HTML application. They should have the details for the RoboHelp for Word application, or better still the RoboHelp Office application which gives you the options of what to install according to your needs.

16:9, Black border all the way around the video.

Using a Canon GL2 video camera I shot a short video in anamorphic 16:9. I then imported it into FCP, in the same format. Exported it and brought it into DVDSP in 16:9.
Everything looked great on my 4:3 TV. It looked like it letterboxed just fine and would project on an HD TV just fine. However, once it opened up on screen it only covered about 95% of the screen. There was a black border all the way around the video.
Anyone have an explanation for this. Better yet, a solution to correct this problem.

If you had got the settings wrong I would expect there to be large borders down the sides, as if you were watching a 4:3 channel on a 16:9 TV that is not set to zoom the image. I don't think you would describe that as 95%.
When you say open up on screen, do you mean on a computer, or on a projection screen? In either case you see the whole image, including the stuff beyond action safe, which you probably wouldn't see on a 4:3 TV or a 16:9 HDTV. Many cameras only fill 702 of the 720 pixels. If you look at the original DV file from the camera, does it fill the full width of the 720 wide image space, or does it have thin black broders?

Text types along the horizontal border of the text box instead of being written inside of it. What's wrong?

I created a text box by dragging the horizontal text tool.
But when I start typing, the text aligns along the upper border of the box instead of being written inside of it.
It looks like this.
How can I fix this, so that the text is inserted inside the defined box?

I just figured it out! Can't believe I was this clueless.
I just had to change the font height back to 100%. Haha
