Transparent the background or compare 2 pdf documents

usully, the background of any pdf software is white.
I need transparent the backgroud of one pdf document.
I have an orgignal pdf document, I write a copy by MS word. I would like transparentize the copy, Then I can compare between the copy and the original.
Do you find any solution about transparent the background?  Do you know any software pdf which can be transparentized?

A PDF page is not white - it's transparent. However in Acrobat or Adobe Reader you always see a white representation of the page, and that cannot be turned off.
You have two options - import one PDF into another as a layer, or open both files in another application (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).

    Hi ZAXSCD,
You can change the background color of a PDF document by following the steps mentioned below:
    - Open PDF document in Adobe Acrobat X;
    - Click on Tools --> Pages --> Under 'Edit Page Design' select Background and then 'Add Background';
    - In Add Background window, under Source --> From color, select the color of your choice and click OK'.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I tried both ways and neither works.  It gives me a prompt box that I have to click "next" for every page but after going thru all pages, nothing is sent to the printer.
Also, all directions I've read indicate it will print to the default printer.  If my default printer is on a network, will that cause problems....
    and...
should I be getting a prompt box on every page?  I thought all this would happen behind the scenes and not force me to interact with every page.

  • Comparing 2 PDF documents text - differnet results in 8.2 and 9.0 versions of Professional

I am trying to compare 2 PDF Documents - Text. When I compare it in Version 8.2 of Adobe Professional using the right Options and selecting text compare. It compares the two documents perfectly fine and give me the right difference results.
When I compare the same 2 PDF documents - text in 9.0. It give me a totally different results. It treats the PDFs as Image and doesn't compare and produce right and clean way as 8.2. Do you know the reason why this is happening in 9.0.
Ideally all the functionality that is being supported in 8.2 should be supported in 9.0 Right??

  • Can I print the last page of a PDF document using command line?

    Hi
I am in a situation in which I constantly have to deal with multiple PDF documents and I need to print the last page in each of these, and ONLY the last page. The total number of pages will vary for each file, so the page number for the last page will also vary.
I would really prefer to not do this manually, by opening up each file in the visible Adobe Reader window and then print.
    Question:
Is there a way with Adobe Reader (maybe with the help of some other Adobe product) to print only the last page of a PDF document using some kind of command line without opening up the PDF file in the visible Adobe Reader window?
    I'm using Windows.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Emil

  • Is there any way to make the page size of a PDF document smaller?  I'm at 30"x36" and want 8.5"x11"

Is there any way to make the page size of a PDF document smaller?  I'm at 30"x36" and want 8.5"x11"

The quickest way is to print to a new PDF and use shrink to fit. Be sure you set the paper size in the printer properties. Normally this is not recommended, but it is a quick approach. You would loss any bookmarks and other markup with the print.

  • Remove the time stamp in a PDF document

So.... I'm hoping that there's a way to remove the time stamp from a PDF document I'm working on. I can't find it in preferences and a search has been less than fruitful. Any ideas??  Thanks!

If you use the redaction tool to redact white space and then apply the redaction, it will give you the option to remove all hidden information. That should do what you wish.

The only way to reduce the size is by editing the original document to reduce its size and then converting again to PDF.

  • How do I activate the "Signature" options of a PDF document created 11/8/13

How do I activate the "Signature" options on a PDF document?

    Hi Spud640,
Click the Sign button on the toolbar to open the Sign panel
The panel is divided into three sections, expand the I Need to Sign section
Click the Place Signature button under Fill & Sign
Select the Draw my signature radio button
Use your mouse to create a signature in the large edit field
    Click the Accept button
At this point the cursor is the signature, where ever you click in the file will place this image,
Unless you clear the signature, the next time you select the Place Signature button you won't see the dialog above, it will just go right to turning the cursor into your signature.

  • Captivate 8 : the PDF export created a file with a PDF extension.. but it's actually a video. Shouldn't it export the slides as a proper PDF document ?

In Adobe Captivate, there is a "PDF export" checkbox available when you publish your project.
It checked the box, and the project pulication created a file with a PDF extension.. but it's actually a video. Shouldn't it export the slides as a proper PDF document ?

Thanks for the quick answer. I did not know about interactive PDFs..
I just found how to export as a Word document. I would have expected to find that option in "Publish" or "Export", not "Print".. Anyway, I now have what I needed

  • How to programmatically compare two PDF documents.

We are in need of a solution related to comparing baselined and revised PDF documents, generally around 2-3 pages of content. Please note that I am looking for programatic comparison, ideally a dotnet based solution using Acrobat SDK. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Is there any recommendation considering there are no ways to programmatically compare two PDF's in .net. I noticed there are few solutions on Adobe site just like below but everyone seems to be stuck at the compare screen unable to simulate the Enter Key functionality.

  • Comparing two PDF documents | Acrobat Tips and Tricks | Adobe TV

This video will get you started with using the improved Compare Documents command in Acrobat 9 to identify what has changed between two versions of a PDF file.
    http://adobe.ly/xqvrc7

Hi there. Thanks for the video. But is there a feature to move among the found differences? Or to show ONLY the differences? In a large document, it's not enough to just "look for" the color-coded differences.
I have not found any such features on viewing a compared doc. I've also looked in the help and now am looking to see if other resources discussing PDF compare might show it. Thanks for any thoughts.
