Transport appraisal template

Hi,
has anyone used the transport option within phap_catalog for appraisal templates yet?
When I try to transport it writes an customizing request but just with entries for Infotypes 1000 1001 and 1002. But the template is not visible within the receiving system. Up- and download works fine, but not the transport option.
Transporting categories and category groups seems to work fine.

Hello Sebastian,
There is an inconsistency in your transport tables.
The report RHSOBJCH corrects the missing HR entries in the OBJS table.
This step you need to perform only once. For OSA you need to overtake *5020 up to *5026, also PAD605,606 and 607 references.
After this put the template on a new transport and everything will be transported.

Transporting Appraisal Template in Predefined Performance Management

Hi all
I have created a transport for Category and Appraisal Template through transcation PHAP_CATALOG by right clicking onto the Object and selecting Transport. After creating the transport I have successfully transported it in the QAS.
Now, in QAS I am not able to view Appraisal Template in the Appraisal Catalog (Transaction: PHAP_CATALOG) while the Category exists in the catalog. I have checked the transported Appraisal template in transaction PP01and have found that the object exists in QAS.
Please advice on, why isnt the appraisal template being displayed and linked to the required category in Appraisal Catalog Transaction: PHAP_CATALOG). And what is the corrective action required.

Please check note 1475428, it may help you find a solution to your issue. (note also that regarding the switch they must be set in both source and target system)

URGENT: TRANSPORTING APPRAISAL TEMPLATE

Dear Friends,
I had created an appraisal template in my SandBox development client.
I then downloaded it and then uploaded it in the Golden Masters Client.
I also created a transport request at the time of saving the template in Golden Masters.
In my Testing client, I used SCC1 to transport the template and other appraisal settings from Golden Masters to the testing client.
Now, when I execute Tcode: APPCREATE in my testing client, the systems returns a message "No template found".
What might be the problem?
How can I solve it?
Please help, its urgent!!!

Hi axe
For transporting from one server to another server dont use scc1 use se09,se10 for using transport request and then try yaar definetely you will get i think so you are mirroring from one client to one client you are not transporting.

Transporting Appraisal Template

I have created the New Appraisal Template for 2015 review in Dev. Now i need to transport the Apparisal template into QA system. Do i need to create the transport for Category as well or directly i can create the transport for Apparisal template?

The below should work.
IMG>>Personnel Management>>Personnel Development>>Objective Setting and Appraisals>>Transport Template and Dependent Configuration Data
Tcode: PHAP_TRANSPORT.
Enter the Appraisal Template ... include the Category, if required and provide the TR.
Once you execute, you will get list of all Appraisal elements (VA, VB, VC), choose required ones, and include them in the TR.
Please click on the 'i' button to read more about this report (Courtesy: SAP documentation).
With this program, you can transport all of the related objects and their related data to another system (such as a live system or client) for an appraisal template (object type VA) or appraisal process ((flexible appraisal process or predefined Performance Management process); (process element object type VH)).

OSA - Transport Appraisal Templates

Hello,
I would like to ask what is the best way of transporting an appraisal template from one client to another. I have checked a few related questions and their responses on this forum and the possible options appear to be
a. Usage of RHMOVE30, or
b. Transportor Upload / Download - posted by Maureen
I am not clear about the second option.
Can anybody clarify and suggest the best way forward?

Transport Category and Appraisal Template

I am trying to transport category and Appraisal Template Transport:
1) Right clicked on Category, select transport and clicked enter, it gave me the following error:
Object "R3TR" "TABL" "T77HAP_C_OTHER" is an automatically generated object and cannot be transported. All tables beginning with "M_" belong to matchcodes and can only be accessed with these

I cannot place the error message, but...
go to transaction "oohap_category" and select the category you want to transport, then go in the menu and select transport. That should work.

Moving Appraisal Template to QA

Hi Guys
I understand that we can move Appraisal Template by download/upload method or by right clicking on the Appraisal Template to create transport and move this transport to QA and so on.
For Category group and category, we can do manual configurations in each system or use OOHAP_CATEGORY Tcode and create transport by selecting Transport option in the menu bar.
For basic settings we can use the regular transport.
I followed download and upload to transport Appraisal Template, works fine.
For Category group and category, I did manual configurations in each system, works fine.
For basic settings I used the regular/customizing transport, work fine too.
Before using download/upload method, I tried using transport method to move Appraisal Template by right clicking on it, transport request box came up and I created transport and have Basis move it to QA. Basis came back transport failure message due to the following error code:
No activation of relationship to object VH 60000200 in pl. version 60000200 (cl.100)
Errors occurred during post handling RH_ACTIVATE_PDOBJECT_AFTER_IMP for PDST_LSO T
The errors affect the following components
BC-BMT-OM (Organizational Management)
Using Transport method for Appraisal Template should have been the best in my case because we have a custom print program and custom table created to map the sections of appraisal template required for printing. By download/upload method the Appraisal Template VA/VB/VC Ids changed so I had to go back to this custom table for each system to map these changes. Since this method failed for me, I had to use download/upload approach.
Did anyone come across similar challenges? Please share.
Is this the reason download/upload method is suggested?

The template settings that are new to EHP4, cannot yet be transported in an automatic way. The process is stored in 'VH' objects.
In order to transport the whole template with all EHP4 settings, you need to do the following steps:
1) Transport the core template using 'PHAP_CATALOG'.
2) Transport the process configuration using report 'RHMOVE30' (see attachment 'transport VH.doc').
3) Transport the tab configuration using note '1428054'.
If you have any other issue with tranpsorting PD objects please refer to note 1475428 Transport appraisal Basic settings

Appraisal template transporting problem

Hi Gurus!
Appraisal template transport work only between mandants of development system. It doesn't work for other systems ( QAS, productive)
Category and category Group was transported earlier.
I did number ranges for objects VA,VB,VC. So there are no such objects in QAS system.
Report RHSOBJCH was done.
What else should I do?

I have found SAP Note 1475428 - Transport appraisal Basic settings
2-Following entries must exist in T77S0:
If LSO is installed:
TRSP STOBJ 'PDST_LSO'
TRSP WFOBJ 'PDWS_LSO'
If LSO is not installed:
TRSP STOBJ 'PDST'
TRSP WFOBJ 'PDWS'

Performance Management - Appraisal Template is not getting transported

Hello All,
Every year we create a new Appraisal template, where in we use to transport the appraisal template by right clicking on it, change status to Release first and then right click again and transport appraisal document.
But this year transporting the document is not working out. It's not showing that template in target source.

Run the program RHSOBJCH.
It shows infotype tables with inconsistencies like IT5025 & IT5026. Adjust/fixe these inconsistencies, with this the system automatically transport the contents in those infotypes.

Problem with Appraisal Template transports

I am on ECC 6.0 EHP4 and am trying to transport the appraisal transports. I am able to transport the template (VA), criteria group (VB) and Criteria (VC). But the relationship 605 - Includes Element is not getting transported. This is the only relationship which is not getting transported. The other relationship 606 is getting transported.
Also, the following infotypes are not getting transported:
5020, 5021, 5022, 5023, 5024, 5025 and 5026.
Anyone faced such a problem?
Response will be truly appreciated.

Change the Appraisal Template in Mid of Year.

Hi All,
We want to edit the appraisal template which is being used in Production.
System is allowing to edit the template in development as there are no documents created. Once we transport the change to production what will be the implication.
Q1. Is it recommended to change the template after it is being used.
Q2. If really need to edit the template in mid of appraisal process how do we go forward.

We are on ECC 6.0 and SP 43.
We need to put some extra fields / Notes to the targets and extra sub statuses to correctly identify the condition.
But already appraisal process started and documents are created. Now we cannot either create the same documents in new template or postpone the appraisal template change to next year.
In this situation we decided to change the existing template. We want to know what will be the implications if we change the template in development and transport it to production???
Download and upload will create a new template which will not be useful for our case.

Can somebody tell me how to update the Appraisal Template which is in 'use' in HR Professional V4.0 Responsibility.
I need to include questionaire template to used template.. whenever i update the template it's gives me an error
'You may not update a template which is currently is use."

Appraisal Template no display in quality

Hi, experts. I have created appraisal template in developement and then got transported to developement testing clint by SCC1 and find for testing allright.
When i have transported the request to quality and production, Template is not visible in either clint.
Although one template which i transported earlier is available in Quality server. I have tried to pull the request twice, i can see this request practically available in these clints.
Pl suggest what may be reason i am not able to see my item. I have the authorisation "SAP ALL" and similar user parameters.

Use RHMOVE* to create transport and move appraisal objects to other system in the landscape.
