Transport Customizing using IDOC + Transport request generation

Environment :
HR DEV Env --> HR Quality --> HR Production
ECC6 Dev Env --> ECC6 Quality Env --> ECC6 Production Env.
I want to transfert HR Customising done on my HR Dev env to my ECC6 Dev Env.
We have isolated custom table to transfert (like T500P or T529T ...).
My question, If I use IDOC/ALE to transfert table T500P from HR Dev to ECC6 Dev, is "standard" transport request generated to transport this customizing to ECC6 Quality then Prod ?
I know that SolMan is the best to do this (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm32/helpdata/en/44/abe83bd199883de10000000a11402f/frameset.htm) but I want to study this solution.
Any inputs ?

Transport customizing objects in transport of copies

Hallo,
my question is, if I can include objects from customizing transport into transport of copies and transport them only into specific system. What is differences between transport objects in transport of copies and customizing transport. Generaly I understand what is diferent between those type transport, but.. My interest is mainly what can be bad with customizing objects in target system after transport of copies and what activities does customizing transport in comparison with customizing transport. Are there any risks??

Hi Tomas,
The Transports of copies allow you to transport (sub-)objects in an object list into any other SAP System you want.
Where as Workbench or Customizing requests there is no automatic delivery into other systems for transport of copies.

Stock Transfport Order Creation using IDOC

Hello Everybody,
I am trying to create a Stock Transport Order using IDOC's. All configuration for the STO has been done and I have no problems creating these orders using ME21N.
Now I need to create STO using IDOC. I am using Message Type ORDERS and Basic Type ORDERS05, but I am not sure what Process Code to use in the Partner Profile configuration in order to pick up proper processing module....
Any help would be appreciated,

Also what kind of transport request is used to transport SAP standard table contents ?

Create Workbench request only.
Because when u will transport the table from development server to quality that time table records won't transport.
We don't have any TR type to transport table with records.

Financial customizing on a transport request.

Hi experts,
Is there anyway to add all the financial customizing to a transport request?? Or even all system customizing. I don't want to make a MANDT copy, just adding the customizing to one TR.

Maybe i have nos explained myself. There are no orders with this that i want to merge in one. I mean, there are no orders now, i just want to create a new order with all the customizing settings.

How can I generate the transport request after the development of the report and releasing it to the QAS?

Hi Rinku,
Cinsider a report ZTEST which has been developed by you . Once you save the report ZTEST you get a pop up window for creation of a Workbench Request . Just press on the Create button (2nd one) ,now you will get a new window where you need to enter a description for the transport (Which can be used later on for identification) . Press enter ,now your report is stored under a transport which you can see from SE10 transaction. Now to move the transport to QAS the transport needs to be released whioch can be done from either SE10 or SE01 by using the F9 key.
In case the transport containing the report ZTEST has already been released then to create a new transport request open the report ZTEST in change mode and as pointed by Clemens just change anything like giving a space etc and save the report and now a popup for creation of transport is given . Follow the above mentioned process and release the transport and move it across to QAS.

Use an existing request in transport connection

I want to add objects into an existing transport request with transport connection.
How can i do?
Can i create a new one from transport connection but not transport it automatically? only insert objects inside it.

I think we can..
Please go through the steps below,
1. Go to rsa1 -> business content
2. Choose 'grouping' as "in dataflow afterwards"
3. choose 'collection mode' as "collect automatically"
4. choose 'infoproviders by infoareas' - choose appropriate infoprovider and 'insert objects for collection'
5. Select your query / queries
6.choose 'create transport request for BEx' and select appropriate development class
To Release a request....
se09/se10, 'modifiable' is marked, and 'display', cursor on you request and click truck button (release),
if request has 'child' request, need to release it first.
To delete or remove request
Goto SE03
Requets/Tasks > Unlock Objects
Give the Request num & Execute
Now Delete the Request on SE09
It is possible to rmove before transportataion from SE03. Well if you want to remove from after transportation it can happen in a case like this. While you delete the obect in dev, it should ask for a request and when that request is transported the object will get deleted in the target sys too.

Problem in idoc transportation

hi all,
i tried to create idoc and i have completed my idoc creation process till t-code we20.now when i go to t-code we60 and try to transport it then it is giving me error that ENTRY IN OUTBOUND TABLE NOT FOUND.

Hi,
If u r using standard idoc then no need to transport .if u r using Zbasictype and segments then when u create it will ask for a transport request.So create a transport and attach ur segments and basic type and then release it to other system.
before releasing the transports,
u shud release the objects in their respective transactions from menu paths. this is very very important
If you want to transport include IDoc type and its segments in transport there is program RSEREPA3. You can check that program once......
to transport the message types...
Goto WE81 transaction in change mode.
Select the message types you want to transport.
Take the menu Table View -> Transport and give a transport request number.

Anybody use Transport Copies using CHaRM

Hi
Did anybody use transport copies options in CHaRM? When I use it's displaying only the transport created using CHaRM. But I need the transport created outside CHaRM?
By the time configured CHaRM, developer already working on the development system and created quite bit of Transport requests. Now wants to include all those transport request into CHaRM created transport request.
Looking for 2 options.
1) Register Transport Requests
2) Transport Copies
Tried both are not working. If any otherway please suggest.

Hi,
The option 'Register Transport Requests' will only link the outside transports to the maintenance cycle. You can't work on these transports through a Correction Document (such as Normal Correction ).
In case you have already created transports outside of chaRM and these transports are not yet released you can do the following:
1. Create a Change Request and Correction Document
2. Create a transport request from this correction document
3. In the development system to go to se09 and use the option 'Merge Requests' (and not include objects). This will delete the previous request and move all your objects to the request created through chaRM (and you will not run into any lock issues).
4. For the transports which are released you can use the 'Include Objects' option.
The transport of Copies functionality when used from within ChaRM will create a copy of your original transport and move it to the QAS system. It will not load the production buffer. In case you find any issues while testing in QAS, you can still go back in DEV and add changes to te original transport request. This way all your work gets added to the same TR and you can keep doing transport of copies for testing in QAS. Once your are ready you can release your original TR.

Transporting Custom Number range Objects

Dear SRMers
System Information: ECC 6.0,
We created Z Number range objects for Eforms in ECC system A , created a Transport Request with the tasks containing the individual Number range objects and, released the transports in SE10 and transported them to ECC System B (with Basis Admin help).
After the moving the transports, we see the individual custom objects in System B, but the number ranges defined are missing for each object. The Basis admin tried couple of approaches but was not successful.
If any one has come across, this problem, please advice.

Hi,
In transaction SNRO enter the Z number range.
Press the "Number Range" button (F7)
Press Interval-->Transport.
That should create a transport for you.

Hierarchies are not transported in BW , barring BCS hierarchies which can be transported with nodes,leaves along with data.
Many ways doing it ,if you search on forum term "Transport Hierarchy".
Best practise is to download a hierarchy in the Flat File and then upload it .There is How to document on service market place to download hierarchy in to flat file as below-

You can also generate export datasource for the hierarchy and use it to upload the same.

CRM and ESB Integratio - Invoking ESB Process using HTTP transport

We have a CRM application that communicates to another application using HTTP transport ( basically sends XML doc). Now We have requirement that the CRM App need to communicate with ESB Process. Please advise me what adapter should I use in ESB ? Is there any custom adapter ?

It depends on the protocol supported on the ESB. If it is SOAP over http you need some client stubs in your application to be able to communicate via SOAP. I'd start with checking Axis or Xfire.

Customer master creation using IDOC

Hi friends,
           I am trying to create customer master into SAP using Idoc. Here pblm is some partner functions already defaulted i want to create some new entries in partner functions when i try to do it online its working fine when i try with idoc the defaulted partner functions are appears double times can any one has any idea whts happening.

The segment E1KNVPM is standard one.Nothing can be done over it . U shold create new segments in we31 and add as
extension to the basic type and try..

2 Step Stock Transfer Using WM Transport Order??

Dear SAP expertes,
I have a problem, I think a lot of you too; that is stock transfer in 2 steps from one storage location to another (mov. types 313-315), but using o referencing a reservation.
SAP says that is not possible create reservations for 2 step stock transfer in MM, but also says use "Stock Transfer Orders" instead, that means use module WM.
Do anyone could transfer stock from one storage location to another using WM Stock Transfer Orders? I tried, but couldn't make it. In anyone have documention to do this I will appreciate it a lot.

I was checking SAP Note "28692 - MMIM: Reservation for a two-step stock transfer", and you were right, they say "Use the stock transport order instead of the stock transfer reservation".
I confused with WM stock tranfer order, but I want to ask you if you have used UB transport order between storage location of the same plant?

Customer creation in R/3 from PI data using IDOCs

Hi All,
I am creating customers in SAP r/3 system using IDOCs which are coming from PI system in the form of XML files.
For that DEBMAS and ADRMAS message types and DEBM process code is used for creating or changing customer master data.
Existing functionality : 1 IDOC is creating/changing 1 customer master data using standard function module IDOC_INPUT_DEBITOR.
Required Functionality: need to create/change data for multiple customers using only one IDOC file.
I have tried using DEBMDM. Unlike DEBMAS, message type DEBMDM can hold multiple customers but if any DEBMDM IDOC sent to R/3, it was remaining in status 75 with message 'IDOC Received via qRFC'.
Any help will be appreciated.

Status 75 refers to that "IDoc is in inbound queue".
Transaction SMQ2 (qRFC Monitor - Inbound Queue)
Transaction WEINBQUEUE (IDoc Inbound Queue).
The transactional asynchronous tRFC guarantees that all database operations are fully executed or, if one of the function modules responds with a termination, they are fully rejected (rollback). If an LUW is executed without errors, it cannot be executed again. In some cases it may be necessary, to rollback an LUW in an application program, for example, because a table is locked.
