Transport Directory and queue are out of sync after the restore

Hi all
I got a DEV server. Running ECC6 on MAXDB over linux. One user deleted some tables and we restored the database. No file system is restored.
Now we are having issues with the transports as the tranport directory is the latest and database is having old data about 3 days old data.
I am not able to see the same objects that we released in the old transports before the restore neither I am able to re-import the transport.
Please let me know the best way to make this in sync with the file system transports available.
Thanks

Thanks for the response. I think I am not clear in my problem statement.
We restored the whole database. Nothing at the fie system level is restored. So Trans directory is having up to date work done (Released transports etc) but after the restore the information coming through the database is the old information. Like in SE10 the transport that was released earlier still showing released but showing less number of objects than the one we actually released before the restore. Even if we try to re-import the same transport it ends up in the error.
Please let me know how we can make file system and database in sync.
Thanks again for the response.

  • Audio and Video are out of sync after time remaping.

    After I did the time remap,audio and video are completely out of sync.
    I don't know what I did wrong.Please HELP.
    I did a short video(43seg) to explain myself better
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0PQEoZvGbk

    ha. having the video is killer. there are a couple ways to do this. i'd recommend using the blade tool (tap b twice to get the one that cuts all tracks), make a cut through the audio and the video at the points where you want it sped up, then right click the clip itself (which should be linked with audio and video) and then just set it to whatever speed you want. it'll have the same effect. you might have to adjust boundaries or you can select ripple.
    alternatively, it looks like you just needed to do the same thing to the audio that you did to the video in that clip you uploaded. you can always relink things by selecting the audio and video and hitting cmnd+L.
    hope that helps.

  • Audio and Video are Out of Sync

    Hello,
    This seems to be a reoccurring problem for me and I'd love some help getting it resolved once and for all. After capturing footage, the audio and video are out of sync in the clip AND when I drag it to the timeline. When I go through each part, it looks like the video hesitates often, which seems to be causing the misalignment of audio. But, once it is moved into alignment, it goes out of sync again throughout the remainder of the one hour video.
    I'm capturing through a Canon Optura 50 Mini DV and editing with FCP 6.0.1. I have checked that the audio mode is set to 16 bit on the camera, and the capture settings have the audio rate for 48 KHz.
    This same problem occurred when I was capturing another event last week.
    PLEASE advise. It won't get aligned even if I take the hours and hours to move the audio left and right frame by frame.

    I am still wondering why you're recommending that I use an external drive for this project.
    Because the internal has more than enough to do running Mac OS X and the applications. It is constantly writing files. While DV video is at the lower end of the scale, it is still asking a lot of the drive's read and write head.
    I always used external drives, but we had many problems with delays and processing problems.
    At the very least, you should be using FireWire external drives. USB is no good for video as it delivers data in packets, not the sustained stream that video needs. The drives must also be formatted as Mac OS Extended. Windows FAT 16 of FAT 32 formatted drives have file size limits of 2 and 4 GB respectively. Anything larger is segemented and can cause problems on a Mac.

  • Photo Booth Audio and Video are out of sync?

    Hi. So there is this glitch that when I take videos on Photo Booth the audio and video are out of sync. This started after I upgraded to Mountain Lion, and since I use Photo Booth a lot, I really do care. Is there anyway that I can fix this until Apple fixes this bug? Thanks.
    Extra Info: The first video I took was not out of sync, but after that they got more and more out of sync.

    I've read all the forums. It's a big problem for most Photobooth users, Apple acknowledges it, but does not yet have a fix.
    The best solution I have come up with is to dump Photobooth (I know - it was a great program, wasn't it? But so was Hypercard) and use Quicktime to make videos. You'll have to spend a little more work savings or exporting, but at least Quicktime is free.
    Just open Quicktime Player and under the File menu you'll see "Record New Movie."
    The downward slide continues...

  • Video and sound are out of sync

    The picture and sound my Apple TV are out of sync by several seconds. THese are on items that have been copied to Apple TV as opposed to streaming from iTunes. Anyone have experience with this? What's the solution?
    Thanks.

    What format were the original items ?
    What frame rate are they in the original ?
    What format are they on the AppleTV (H264 video AAC audio is the most common, but there are others) ?
    What is the video frame rate now ?
    Most out of syncs come from an imperfect attempt to encode for AppleTV. ie. DVD frame rate is 29.97fps. Many encode this to 30fps. So the movie plays 0.1% too fast, too little for you to notice, but at the end of a 100 minute film, the audio is 6 seconds out of sync with the video. Or 3 seconds on a 45 minute TV show.
    Also check the source. I'd had DVDs (Alien Resurrection) jump 10 seconds out of sync in the middle of the movie. Back to the shop for that one.

  • Video images and sound are out of sync

    Hi, I'm new to videocasts so please forgive me. I have a few video podcasts that play fine in iTunes and in other iPods but audio and images become out of sync when I play it on my Nano. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • Audio and video are out of sync when exported.

    I've been trying to export a clip from a sequence in fcp. I've marked in and out points, and use the export using quicktime option. And each time, the audio is out of sync with the video.

    Yea it still won't let me post images, so here are the settings:
    Sequence Settings: Frame size: 1920x1080 HDTV 1080i 16:9
    Pixel aspect ratio: square
    field dominance: upper.
    Editing timebase: 30.
    Quicktime settings:
    compressor: H.264.
    Quality: 100%
    Audio Settings:
    Rate: 48kHz
    Depth: 16-bit
    Config: Channel Grouped
    Item Properties: comicsonspot.MP$
    Type: Clip
    Creator: Quicktime Player
    Size: 1.7 GB
    Tracks: 1V, 2A
    Vid Rate: 60 fps
    Frame size: 1280x720
    Compressor: H.263
    Ok, there's a bunch more settings, let me know if you need any other info. Thanks again!

  • Upon export, audio and video are out of sync.

    While editing, my cuts are lined up with beats in the music, but after export they shift approximately 5 frames, making my cuts appear later.
    The Sequence settings match the clip settings at 23.976 fps, and i've tried just about everything I can think of to fix the issue.
    I've reverted back to previous Autosaves of the project, tried numerous export settings, separate and new projects, different machines, but nothing seems to work.
    At this point I'll take any and all suggestions.

    Please UN-check the "Frame Blending" box, that is only used when changing frame rates. The source and export are both 23.976, so that can only cause issues (blurring between frames with motion). Also uncheck "Max Render Quality", that is used for SCALING, such as 1080 to 720, or HD to SD. Your source and destination are both 1080p.
    Rule of thumb - do NOT check boxes unless you really know what they do and the results they provide - the DEFAULT settings are there for a reason ;-)
    Also, I never use "Match Source" - rather, figure out where the video is going (Blu-ray, web, device, etc.) and find an appropriate PRESET - there are tons of them under "H.264".
    I'm assuming the video source is also 23.976? If source doesn't match sequence settings, that can be an issue with sync.
    Try exporting entire sequence rather than In to Out. Try EXPORT rather than Queue.
    Last thing, what is the source of the video footage? Some phones use "Variable Bitrate" recording and Premiere is not equipped to deal with that very well.
    Thanks

  • After months, my loops and metronome are out of sync

    I searched but couldn't find this: added some tracks to a metronome track, played them back and they are way off. I've recorded hundreds of tracks and they sync up no problem, added loops, still no problem. What could I have done to make everything out of sync? I can't record anything now.
    Must be simple thing but 'sync' in HELP search produces nothing. Not sure what to look for.
    Thanks

    Been awhile- thanks for your reply. It just happened again. I moved a drum loop, changed the tempo. Then I added tracks and they are not syncing up with the drum loop. Each subsequent track appears to be in the same tempo as the drum loop.

  • IMovie: I uploaded HDV video from a Canon HV20 and then to YouTube. The video and the audio are out of sync. The audio seems to precede the video by a tiny bit which is disconcerting. Any recommendations about how to correct this? Thank you.

    I downloaded video via iMovie from my Canon HV20. The video was in HDV. I then published it to YouTube and Vimeo and in both cases, the audio is out of sync: the video precedes the audio by a fraction of a second. The original is fine as viewed in the camera.
    Any suggestions as to why and how to correct it?
    Thank you,
    David

  • Changed destinaton for FRA - broker and SPFILE are out of sync.

    I am on Oracle 10.2.0.4. I have Data Guard + RMAN + RMAN catalog. On the OS level my flashback recovery area was set up as */data/archive*. Everything was working fine. I then had to change this location (on the OS level) to */data/flashback*. I created pfile from spfile, made the corresponding changes in the pfile, made the change on the OS level, then started both db (primary and standby) with this pfile and then created spfile from pfile. Upon restart my primary would not come up - i.e. would stay in the mount mode. I see the following errors on primary:
    DGMGRL> show database andev1 'StatusReport';
    STATUS REPORT
           INSTANCE_NAME   SEVERITY ERROR_TEXT
                andev1      ERROR ORA-16783: instance andev1 not open for read and write access
                andev1    WARNING ORA-16714: the value of property LogArchiveTrace is inconsistent with the database setting
                andev1    WARNING ORA-16714: the value of property LogArchiveFormat is inconsistent with the database setting
                       *    WARNING ORA-16817: unsynchronized Fast-Start Failover configurationOn the standby I see the following:
    DGMGRL> show database andev2 'StatusReport';
    STATUS REPORT
           INSTANCE_NAME   SEVERITY ERROR_TEXT
                andev2    WARNING ORA-16714: the value of property StandbyArchiveLocation is inconsistent with the database setting
                andev2    WARNING ORA-16714: the value of property AlternateLocation is inconsistent with the database setting
                andev2    WARNING ORA-16714: the value of property LogArchiveTrace is inconsistent with the database setting
                andev2    WARNING ORA-16714: the value of property LogArchiveFormat is inconsistent with the database setting
                       *    WARNING ORA-16817: unsynchronized Fast-Start Failover configuration
                       *    WARNING ORA-16818: Fast-Start Failover suspended
                       *      ERROR ORA-16766: Redo Apply unexpectedly offlineWhen I do show database verbose andev1 I see:
      StandbyArchiveLocation          = '/data/archive/'
        AlternateLocation               = ''
        LogArchiveTrace                 = '0'
        LogArchiveFormat                = '%t_%s_%r.arc'So definatelly broker value is /data/archive and in SPFILE I have /data/flashback + these other settings dont match.
    So I try to change these broker properties manually via dgmgrl as follows on primary:
    DGMGRL> edit database 'andev1' set property 'LogArchiveTrace'='0';
    Property "LogArchiveTrace" updated
    DGMGRL> edit database 'andev1' set property 'LogArchiveFormat'='%t_%s_%r.arc';
    Property "LogArchiveFormat" updated
    DGMGRL> edit database 'andev1' set property 'StandbyArchiveLocation'='/data/flashback/;
    Property "LogArchiveFormat" updatedHowever, StandbyArchiveLocation does not get updated in the broker. On the standby I cannot change these values:
    DGMGRL> edit database 'andev2' set property 'StandbyArchiveLocation'='/data/flashback/';
    Property "StandbyArchiveLocation" updatedThese do not get upadted either. So the only option is to delete broker files and recreate them. Am I right? I mean if I want to change something in SPFILE, like location of my archive logs, I have to delete and recreate broker configuration? Or is there an easier way?
    Thank you!

    Hi,
    I doing it by re-creating config but you can try to change it in EM.

    How to change iCloud ID without changing iTunes ID?  Help

    If you want to merge Apple ID's - you can't do that. For reasons unknown, Apple just doesn't allow it. Passwords are are different story. You should be able to reset your password for any other the ID's that you have.
    Do you have multiple Apple ID's? And if this situation is that much of a mess, you might be better off contacting Apple in order to get it straightened out.
