Transport error code 8, repaired object

I did some enhancement, added one infoobject, added a couple of fields, to cube, InfoSource, Trans Rule, Update Rule. in SE10 I saw a bunch of routines under "Routines" node, with long names, names starting with 3J3Mxxxx, 3PYAxxxx etc. along with my objects. After the import to QA transport eneded with error code 8, I do not have access to SE03, STMS etc, transport is handled by basis team.
Return code for D40K913272 at Fri Mar 30 12:49:13 EDT 2007 into  Q40
2EETW104 "R3TRROUT3J3MIJZVZFS5N7PG9F1ZXJ9D8" was repaired in this system and must not be imported.
2EETW104 "R3TRROUT3J3MIK7KIEDV5U8WF94C7L830" was repaired in this system and must not be imported.
2EETW104 "R3TRROUT3J3MJQ8S9R6I36OCCRXJ8C758" was repaired in this system and must not be imported.
Return code for D40K913272  Q40 / 910 is  8
D40K913272 run time
Some of these routines and rest of the objects were imported successfully. I am having problem with only three routines and I don't know how to identify them.
Why I am getting this error? How do I resolve this error? What are my options? Can I request to repeat the import with repair flag set or something like that as I read it somewhere in the forum or I need to create a new request, if so how do I take care of these problem objects?
Any help will be appreciated and rewarded.
Thanks
Sunil

Soumya,
I am not sure but these could be from transfer rule routines. Sorry for being ignorant but how do I know if these are transfer routines or update rule routines? where do you want me to check, source or target system? I checked RSDIR table, on which values I need to search? As far as I know nothing is deleted from source system. I checked program for transfer program in source system, it had some elements with name starting with GP3J3M* some part of it matched the names I got in the error but it is not a full match.
Now my question is why I am getting this repaired object error, what is the reason for this? How do I make this transport successful? Do I need to create a new request and include all objects again, which will include these objects again as I did not added these routines, they got added by default? What I do with transport which failed?
Please help me with resolving this issue, I'll reward with full points for successful resolution.
Thanks and regards
Sunil

  • Transport Error Code 16

    Hi All,
I am trying to import one of the requests in our Production system. when I am adjusting the Import Queue of this server, tp is throwing error code as 16 for one of the requests.
Upon further investigation, I learnt that one file called DXXXXXX.GRD is not accessible in drive $TR_DATA. I copied that file from DEV system and put it in the usr\sap\trans\data directory.
However, same error I am getting! Can any body help me solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance!!!

    Thanks .Solved...

  • Transport Error while moving BI objects to quality

    Hi All,
    I have the followinng landscape.
Source system :- Dev ECC 100(config) and Dev ECC 200 (data is present here).
Since for my BI implementation, I need data. I have created requests i.e for activating datasources in Dev ECC100 and then copied them into Dev ECC200.
Dev BI is connected to Dev ECC200, replicate the datasources and do my development.
Now I have created request in Dev BI for my BI objects.
*The question is when I have to transport it to Quality. What source system assignment I maintain in Quality Box ? *
So far, Quality ECC-100 and Quality BI-100 are connected.
Also I am maintaining Dev ECC 100 -> Qua ECC 100
                                     Dev BI 100 -> Qua BI 100.
I have alreday transported request from Dev ECC100 to Qua ECC100.
While transporting BI requests for datasources, I get the error : source system unknown Dev ECC 200.
    Please respond.
    -Amit

    Hi,
    I have resolved ths issue.
Actually in Quality BI, logical source system assignmement, I should have used
    Source                                                       -->               Target
    DEV ECC200 (instead of Dev ECC 100)     -- >                 QUA ECC 100.
    Thanks,
    -Amit

  • Repaired objects cannot be included in dev./correction QC1K922873

    Hi All,
We are in the Process of deleting Queries from Quality system and Transpoting the request to Production System so that its not necessary to delete them manually in Prodiuction system.so when i try to include an Object(  COMPID of Query,R3TR,ELEM) in a dev./correction request, getting error as 'Repaired objects cannot be included in dev./correction QC1K922873.
    <b>Error message:</b>
Repaired objects cannot be included in dev./correction QC1K922873
    Message no. TK180
    Diagnosis
In developments/corrections, it is only possible to lock and edit those objects whose original version is located in the logon system.
The object list of your correction contains the object R3TR ELEM 61TU4TUP5S2463L4TY0JQ8AAE. This object is only available as a copy, its original is located in another SAP System.
    System response
    The function terminates.
    Procedure
Delete the object from the correction before you repeat this function.
Use a repair for changes to this object.
You can assign repairs and corrections to the same request to ensure, for example, that they are part of the same transport.
For more information on the Transport Organizer, see the SAP Library under Basis Components -> Change and Transport System.
    Can anybody help me out?
    Thanks

'Source system' is the system where an object was originally created (before being transported to other systems). It is a field in the directory table TADIR (you can check this entry in SE16 on this table), this field stores the 'source system' value for each object.
You may be able to change it in SE03 (change object directory entry option), if not, you can probably write an ABAP to update TADIR table record for this object.
However, the third option I mentioned (creating a 'transport of copies' type request) would be the easiest one, if that works you do not need to do any of the above.

  • Error while creating PDF object

We are using Adobe Interactive Forms with Guided Procedures.  Netweaver 7.0 SP14 (Dual stack Java & Abap).  All was working well it appears until we configured SSL for ADS - don't know for sure if this caused the problem but it is the only change we can identify around the time that our problems began.
When we attempt to Create an Impersonalized Form we receive the following error -
Cannot retrieve template structure: Execution ended in an unrecognized state
When we attempt to test a callable object associated with an interactive form we receive -
Error while creating PDF object: PDF object could not be created; object returned from ADS is null.
In both cases the entries in the default trace log are the same -
Service XMLFormService: Native process (PID=0) /usr/sap/UFD/DVEBMGS02/j2ee/os_libs/adssap/XMLFormService/bin/XMLForm.exe terminated abnormally with error code 134

    at com.sap.caf.eu.gp.model.iforms.preproc.FormPreprocessor.execute(FormPreprocessor.java:507)
Like I mentioned earlier this functionality was working successfully in our environment at one time.
Any guidance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Joe

    Joe,
If you originally configured ADS without SSL, I would recommend going back through the ADS Configuration Guide for your NetWeaver stack and make sure all the necessary changes for SSL were made.  I've seen another case where a step was missed in SSL configuration for ADS which caused a form to error.
If everything looks good based on your SSL configuration, I would recommend creating an OSS Note.

  • Transaction code to repair/check objects

    Hello
Can somebody remind me transaction code to repair/check objects in BW?
    Thanks

    hi
you can use rsrv. it  is  for bw objects consistency analysis and repair.
from transaction code RSRV doc itself :
Transaction RSRV: BW Data and Metadata Test and Repair Environment.
Transaction RSRV checks the consistency of data stored in BW. It mostly examines the foreign key relationships between individual tables in the enhanced star schema of the BW system.
The transaction interface was re-designed for SAP Portals release 3.0A. A brief guide about how to use the transaction follows.
    Starting the Transaction
You can reach the test and repair environment
By entering the transaction code RSRV
    From InfoObject maintenance (Transaction RSD1)
By clicking on the "Analyze" button in the intial screen.
After selecting a characteristic in the maintenance screen via the "Processing -> Analyze InfoObject" menu option.
    The Initial Screen
When using the test and repair environment for the first time, the message "Values were not found for all setting parameters" draws your attention to the fact that there aren't any saved settings for your user.
After confirming the dialog box, you reach the initial screen of the transaction. This is divided into two parts:
    1. On the left-hand side, you can see a tree structure with the pool of available tests.
    2. The right-hand side is empty at first. The tests you have selected will be put here. A selection of tests is called a Test Package here.
    Combined and Elementary Tests
An Elementary Test is a test that cannot be divided into smaller tests and that can therefore only be executed as a whole.
In this regard, a Combined Test determines which elementary tests are to be executed after entering the parameters. You can remove individual elementary tests from the test package before carrying out the actual test run, in order to reduce run time, for example.
Combining a Test Package and Executing it.
Firstly select one or more tests with drag&drop or by double-clicking. Each selected test appears as a closed folder in the view of your test package. (An exception is elementary tests without parameters: These do not appear as a folder). You can also drag a whole folder of tests from the test pool across to the right-hand screen area; all tests that are located in the hierarchical structure under this folder are then added to the test package. You can also display a short description of the test, if required. Do this right-clicking on a test and choosing "Description" from the context menu.
Afterwards, you must supply the tests with parameters. Tests without parameters must not be given parameters. You are given notification of this when selecting them. You can enter parameters by double-clicking on a test (or a test package) or by expanding the folder of the test.
A dialog box appears in which you must enter the required parameters. Input help is often available. After entering the parameters, a folder with the name "Parameter" is added under the test. This contains the parameter values. The test name can change in some circumstances, enabling you to see at first sight for which parameter values the test is to be executed. It is possible to select the same test several times and give it different parameters, which may even be preferable in some situations. When you have supplied the combined test with parameters, the folder with the name "Elementary Tests" is added under this one. It contains the elementary tests, from which the combined test is built. You can delete individual elementary tests in the test pool using drag & drop.
After supplying all tests with parameters, you can start the test run by clicking on the "Execution" button. After execution, the test icons change from a gray rhombus to a red, yellow or green one, depending on whether the test had errors, warnings or was error-free.
    Test Results
The test results are written to the application log. Depending on the settings, the system jumps automatically to this display, or you can reach it by clicking on the "Display" button. The results are saved in the database, and can therefore be compared later with additional test runs.
In the left-hand side of the window, you can see an overview of the most recent test runs. Double-clicking on a folder displays all messages under these nodes as a flat (non-hierarchical) list in the right-hand screen area. Long texts or detail data may be available for individual messages, which can be displayed with a mouse click.
    Repairs
Some tests can repair inconsistencies and errors. Automatic correction is generally not possible: If entries are missing from the SID table for a characteristic, in which case the lost SIDs are still being used in a dimension table (and the corresponding dimension keys are still being used in the fact table) of an InfoCube, you can only remove the inconsistency by reloading the transaction data of the InfoCube. Also note that you must make repairs in the correct sequence. You must always read the documentation for the test and have a good idea about how the error occured, before making the repairs.
After executing the test run, go from the application log back to the initial screen to make these repairs. Click on the "Fix Errors" button to start an error run. Since the dataset could have changed between the test and the repair run, the required tests are executed again before the actual repair. The results can be found in the application log once again.
    Test Packages
The test package is deleted if you do not save the test package in the display before leaving the test environment. Choose "Test Packages -> Save Test Package" in the option menu. You can do the following via options in the "Test Package" menu:
    Load packages
Load for processing - the package is then locked against changes by others.
    Delete and
Schedule execution at a later date or at regular intervals in background processing
    Settings
In the "Settings" menu option, you can make settings (adjust the size of the screen areas, for example) and save them. The settings are automatically read when starting the test environment. Support packages are being delivered with additional settings options since the test environment is under development at the moment. A message notifies the user at the start if there aren't any values for the setting options.
    Jobs Menu Option
You can access the job overview via the Jobs -> Job Overview menu. Use this when you want to check the status of a test package you have scheduled.
    Application Log Menu Option
You can display old logs from previous test runs in the dialog box, as well as scheduled ones. The option of deleting test logs can also be found here.
    New Selection Button
The currently selected test package is deleted when you press this button.
    Filter Button
After a test run, click on this button to remove all elementary tests without errors or warnings from the test package.
Executing Test Packages in Process Chains
You can add a process chain to the ABAP Programm RSRV_JOB_RUNNER in the process chain maintenance transaction, RSPC. To do this, use drag & drop to select the process type "ABAP Program" under "General Services" in the process type view. When maintaining process variants you will be asked for the program name and a program variant. Enter RSRV_JOB_RUNNER for the program name. Choose a program variant name and click on "Change". In the next screen you are able to either change or display an already existing variant, or create a new variant. When creating a new variant you will be asked for the following: Package name (an imput help on this is available), the detail level for the log to which the RSRV log in the process chain log is to be integrated, and a message type severity at which process chain processing should be terminated.
The RSRV process log in the process chain is built as follows:
First is a summary specifying whether errors, warnings, or no errors occurred for each elementary test.
A log view of the RSRV test package at the specified detail level follows.
Example: If you choose the value '3' for the detail level, only messages up to and including detail level 3 will be included in the log processes for the process chain. Messages occuring at a lower layer of the test package test are not displayed in this log. Please note that, unlike the application log, the process log does not propagate errors from deep detail levels to low detail levels. For example, if a single detail level 4 error occurs the summary will show that the relevant test delivered an error. However, this error will not be listed in the second part of the log.
A complete log is always written independantly of the RSRV process log in the process chain. You can view this in the menu option "Application Log->Display Log->From Batch".
Please note that there is currently no transport object for test packages and that consequently these cannot be transported. Process chains that execute RSRV test packages must therefore be manually postprocessed after a transport to a different system: The relevant test packages must be created.

  • Transport control program tp ended with error code 0203

when i import queue and transport queue from dev to prd ,error show:
Transport control program tp ended with error code 0203
    Message no. XT200
    Diagnosis
An error occurred when executing a tp command.
      Command: IMPORT DEVK900298 P01 clientP01 U0 pf=/usr/sap/tra
      Return code: 0203
Error text: wrong syntax in tp call
      Request: DEVK900298
    System Response
    The function terminates.
    Procedure
Correct the error and execute the command again if necessary.

    Dear Allen,
The transport control program tp collects all return codes that occur when a tp command is executed. From all of these single return codes, a combined return code is calculated that tp outputs as a result at the end the command. During an import, for example, all return codes for individual import steps are handled. If a special return code does not occur, then the combined return code at the end is the maximum of individual return codes that occur. In addition to the value of the return code, tp also gives a short description of this return code. You can display this short description using the command explainrc.
Normally, all return codes that occur originate from individual transport steps. Since these individual return codes can only have the following values 0, 4, 6, 8, 12, 13, 14, 16, the combined return code also has one of these values. However, if a general error occurs, a single return code over 200 is generated. For example, this could arise if tp cannot establish a connection to the database. The maximum return code for all single transport steps is output in a separate message before specifying the combined returned code. In this case, the combined return code is always the return code of the general error message.
    <b>tp Commands:</b>
    tp addtobuffer <request> <sapsid>
As of Release 4.6A, an explicit addtobuffer command leaves the position of the entry unchanged, if the relevant transport request is already in the buffer. Only the status of the entry is changed:
Unconditional modes appearing in the command line are added to the unconditional modes in the buffer.
All the steps of the entry are re-initialized.
If the entry found is not an initial entry, the import step for the command file is set to *4000 .
Before you call this command and its options, consider the effects of changing the import sequence.
    tp cleanbuffer <sapsid>
This deletes successfully imported change requests from the list of requests that are marked for import into the SAP System <SAPSID>. This function is contained in the commands tp import all <sapsid> and tp put <sapsid> .
    tp delfrombuffer <request> <sapsid>
If the specified request is marked for import into the specified SAP System, this flag is deleted from the import list.
Before you call this command, consider the effects of changing the import sequence.
As of Release 4.6A: If a transport request was only partially imported, you can delete this type of transport request from the buffer. However, if a deleted transport request is placed in the buffer (without having been initially or completely imported), the attributes of the old entry are reactivated. This means the return codes, the unconditional modes and tags of the deleted entry appear in the new entry.
    tp delstopmark <sapsid>
If the list of requests marked for import into the specified SAP System contains a STOP mark, the mark is deleted.
    tp export <request>
This exports the complete request from the source system. This command starts the export of a request from the operating system level. Only use this command in exceptional cases. The SAP System uses the command expwbo to release requests from CTS transactions.
    tp reformatbuffer <sapsid> [options]
This automatically reformats the entire buffer.
As of Release 4.5A, there are 2 different formats for buffer entries. (As of Release 4.5A, tp can work with both formats, and with a puffer containing heterogeneous entries. As of Release 4.6A, tp can work with 3 formats.)
However, in certain cases entries with the old formatting have to be reformatted during the normal run of tp . In this case, the entire buffer is automatically reformatted.
If you use the options downtorelease and Iagree for command reformatbuffer , you can format the buffer so that its formatting is compatible with an older release:
    Option downtorelease <Release>
The command reformatbuffer with this option formats the buffer so that the formatting corresponds to the one used in an old release. This is necessary if tp writes buffer entries to the buffer of another system, but uses a buffer format that the transport control programs does not understand in this system.
Since older formats cannot store the same amount of information as the newer ones, some information contained in the original buffer may not be stored in the unformatted buffer. This may lead to data loss.
To avoid data loss, the original buffer is stored. In addition, you have the following functions:
Displaying the unformatted buffer (using showbuffer <SID> )
Displaying the original buffer (using showbuffer buffer=<SID>SAV )
Accepting the unformatted buffer (using reformatbuffer and the option Iagree yes )
Resetting the changes (using reformatpuffer and the option Iagree no )
If you call reformatpuffer using downtorelease , tp displays in detail if information was lost by reformatting, and what that information was. tp also names the commands that is has to execute to accept or reject the changes.
If you use the option downtorelease , you must also specify the option Iagree with yes or no . You cannot use the transport system until you decide to accept or reject the changes.
    Option Iagree
Here are the following values for this option:
    yes ( true )
Accept the change made by tp reformatbuffer <SID> downtorelease <rel>
In this case, tp deleted the buffer semaphore file that was lifted for security reasons at the first call of reformatbuffer
    no ( false )
Reject the change made by tp reformatbuffer <SID> downtorelease <rel> In this case, tp copies the backup of the original buffer back and deletes the buffer semaphore file that was lifted for security reasons at the first call of reformatbuffer
    tp setstopmark <sapsid>
A special STOP mark is added to the list of requests registered for import into the specified SAP System. The commands tp import all <sapsid> and tp put <sapsid> only process the requests in front of this stop mark.
If there is no stop mark, it is automatically generated by the commands
tp import all <sapsid> and tp put <sapsid> .
When all the requests in front of the stop mark have been imported successfully, at the end of all the calls the related marks and the mark itself are deleted.
A STOP mark can only be placed at the end of the change requests that have already been marked. In addition, it can only be set if no other mark of the same kind already exists.
    tp showparams <sapsid>
This tp function displays which values the individual parameters of the transport profile have for the current SAP System.
    tp verse <request>
This creates versions of the objects in the specified request. This transport step is contained in command export .
As of Release 4.5A, more actions that prepare the export are performed in this step.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Naveen.

Ok, I have a Mac g4,  os9. ..450 Processor. I Think I upgraded ram, can't remember. Maybe a 512 card. Added an 80 gig internal HD for music storage.  Computer was solely used for protools LE 5.  I knew I was kinda close on my memory for running the program after recording things with plug ins etc.  It was beginning to get slow at startup.  Anyway it's been a couple years since I used it.  I got it set up yesterday and it wouldn't launch and kept giving me error code 10. So I replaced the battery and tried again.  the small finder icon in middle of screen would then pop up and alternate with a "?". Then it would change to a pict of a hard drive disk and then a me alternating "?".  It would still give me the error code if I clicked on anything. So I then held down the shift key to turn off extensions as it had mentionEd to do a couple times. Still would give me the error code on my home page.  If I tried to get into my hd which is on desktop it would give me the message, but somehow it did open one occasion and I went into it and scrolled to disk verify and repair. Did it. Said things were fine. I then saved the results in a file which was then offered along with location. I chose desktop. Probably really bad idea in hind sight.. It did it, but now no matter if I turn extensions off,  the home screen pops up but then goes blank.  The hard drive icon along with the new folder, and my protools icon immediately dissapear. And it freezes.  at one point a message did pop up saying finder could not start up because there is not enough memory available.  I'm not a computer guy.  Ive tried finding the guy who helped me set this thing up 10 years ago but to no avail. If I can be guided to somehow uncover some of the unneeded memory usage I would then learn how to more efficiently use it.  How the heck do I even start. I can't get to a screen which shows what's eating my computers space to even start getting rid of unneeded stuff. Please help if you can.  I have so much to loose if I can't get it to work.  Btw...I no longer have the os9 disk. I think it was tossed 10 years ago or more.  May not even have my original pro tools disks anymore.  Uggh.

Ouch, tough spot, but offhand I'd say some memory may have gone bad, or maybe just needs re-seating after all this time.
Not much you can do, but try this anyway...
    PRAM reset, CMD+Option+p+r...

In fact, do 3 in a row, takes a bit of time.
