Transport error: Datasource not appearing in PROD

Regards.I Transported a CL(Classification datasource) from DEV to PROD.But the import ended with a (class 4)warning ;
ABAP DICTIONARY ACTIVATION : WARNING (4)
Following objects not activated/deleted or activated/deleted w. war
Table ZOXDEV0110 was activated with warnings
(W- Enhancement category for include or subtype missing )
Final log
*End phase 002 *****************************************************
Hence am unable to see them in RSA6 in PROD...Would appreciate ur valuable inputs on this...

The problem is solved..
The particular Datasource was locked in Identical Request(found out that in RSA6 - Datasource - Object Directory - Lock overview)..Then unlocked them DS in SE03.Deleted the old request and Now assgnd the DS to a New Request and Transported.Its seated fine,this time around in PROD..

Solution:
-- create a new tranport only for the datasource 80vendort, transfer structure and transfer rules.
Wondering if this solutions would work. Is there any thing I am missing...?

Hi Sweatha,
When we are transporting data source, did you know that we should first transport the data source from R/3 DEV to R/3 QA (Source Systems) and replicate them to BW QA later on?
Because if we transport BW Objects first, we will get similar errors such as what you have experienced.

On certain sites, some lines have the lower half missing. Changing the font or its size does not help. The error does not appear with Iceape or Chromium.

I looks that the whole line doesn't fit in the container, so the bottom part is cut off. The usual cause is that a font is used that takes more vertical space, so any increase or changes from the font in what the website prescribes can cause this issue. I've seen web pages that were even affected by changing the minimum font size from none to 1 (!). If you do not have the font installed that the website specifies then Firefox will fallback to another (default) font that may have different dimensions.

Once again try to activate all the object and retry the transport, this is due to inactive object or object not properly activate.
since nothing is mentioned activate all object incluging data target and transformation also.

PO_CUSTOM_PKG - Error message not appearing while creating dist line

Hi,
We are trying to incorporate business logic using the POR_CUSTOM_PKG. Where as we have a requirement to add custom validations at the time of defaulting the requisition distributions. We are using PROCEDURE custom_default_req_dist for this purpose. however if any validation fails we need to display error message and we are not able to see the error message even after setting the result_code t0 2
Can someone let us know what may be the problem or how to resolve this?

You need to use "custom_validate_req_dist" procedure in order to perform any validation in the requisition distributions data in iProcurement and display appropriate error messages.

Transport Rule does not appear to be working

hi,
I have an exchange 2013 environment. i have a requirement to intercept inbound emails from external senders addressed to [email protected] and forward it to a single recipient.
we have an internal distribution list already using [email protected] that has 30 members.
I have setup the following rule
apply this rule if: the recipient is [email protected] and the sender is:outside of the organization
Do the following:redirect the message to [email protected]
Priority 0
Audit : not specified
mode: enforce
when i send a test email from externally all 30 people still recieve the mail. i have tried restarting the transport service. Can anyone please help me as i am struggling to see what might be wrong.

From your description i came to understand that the E-mails from the external senders addressed to the distribution group [email protected] should have to be redirected to [email protected]
As per my knowledge ,There are two ways to achieve your scenario one is via transport rule and another one is via DL restriction .
via transport rule
1.If you wanted to check whether the transport rule is applied to that message or not you should have to do the message tracking first .
2.Then you have to enable the pipeline tracing log for the particular recipient in our exchange organisation . With the help of that logs you can able to identify what are all the transport rules has applied to the messages received by the that recipient
Note: Pipeline tracing is only for troubleshooting purpose , once you have completed your troubleshooting please turn it off .
Via DL restriction :
On that particular DL If you go to the option delivery management you can able to set the restrictions .
only senders inside my organization - This is the option where you can restrict who can able send an email to this DL and it would be some of the internal recipients or all the internal recipients .
Senders inside and outside of my organization - This is the option where you can restrict who can able send an email to this DL and it would be some of the internal recipients or all the internal recipients or some of the external recipients
or all the external recipients .
you should have to create a contact in case if you wanted to provide mail sending permission to this DL only for some external recipients

Alert log.xml or alert.log errors do not appear in EM

Little puzzled here. Using 11.1.0.6 to test if alert errors will appear on 11.1.0.1 EM Grid pages. Simple ORA-1653 triggered via sql insert and then waited and waited. Nothing. I can use EM to open log file and to display the errors but no alerts are flagged on any of the pages.
Is this a another bug?

I'm using CRXI in VS.NET 2005 on Vista32.
I get the feeling that maybe I've misunderstood something fundamental about how Crystal Reports can be used to bind to a report datasource at runtime. I know that I can set the datasource using the OLE Text Driver or as a DataSet:

But I see that when I set up a chart, the available fields shown are statically bound already, because without selecting a datasource first, the Report Designer won't do anything!
I can't see anywhere in the code behind the report where I can dynamically rebind the chart in the report, and I've never seen anything online (here in the CR forums or elsewhere) showing how to bind the datasource for a chart at runtime.
Am I doing this correctly? Have I missed something?

I'm not 100% sure I understand the query, but here goes;
With Crystal Reports, you need to create the report first. You can then pass a dataset to it to reflect new data. As long as the dataset matches the structure of the data the report was created with, this should work. You could take your existing dataset, write it out to an XML and build the report off of that:
myDataset.WriteXml(xmlPath, XmlWriteMode.WriteSchema)
If you want to build a report at runtime, you will have to use RAS. For more information see the following resources:

DTW Error file not appearing

Hi All,
   I am working with SAP B1205B patch level 41 and DTW version 2005.0.19. The DTW is running fine but when there is any error in importing the error details is not featuring in the log files. The log files is blank. after every run. What can be the reason. Please suggest.

Hard disk error, HDD not appearing in bios

My laptop HP Envy15 fails to load Windows and displays boot device not found. The HP UEFI diagnostics for hard disk failed the Short DST test with failure code U0EDBK-6Q66G1-MFGJXG-60U003. Does this mean I have to replace my hard drive? My laptop's product ID is E6G06PA#UUF and I have Win8 -64 installed on it upgarded to 8.1. All this started to happen when I copied recovery drive to USB and deleted recovery drive on my machine to increase space..... my machine started freezing and crashed...... now even chkdsk, recovery or reset with new partition is not working.....though if back up usb is connected and if I go to restore system through UEFI I can see all Partitions........ where is problem and what should i do???? plz plz plz help...

Hi,
The above failure ID refers to Hard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure. You have to replace the Hard disk drive. If the laptop is under warranty, then you can contact HP Support to get the Hard disk drive replaced. Also you have to reinstall the Operating System on the new Hard disk drive using recovery disk.

"Budget Exceeded" error not appearing at the time of changing PR but appearing at the time of PO change.

Dear All,
At the time of PR value change after creation of PO budget exceeded error is not appearing even though the PR value exceeds the budget. But at the time of changing the same value in PO, budget exceeded error is appearing.
List of steps:
PR created.
PR released
PO created with reference to PR and released.
PR value changed to a value more than the available budget - No budget exceeded error.
PO value changed in accordance with the PR - System throwing the budget exceeded error.
Now the issue is why the system bypassed the budget exceeded error at the time of PR value change and only giving the error at the time of PO value change. Also, we observed that while changing the quantity in PR which results in exceeding budget, system is giving the error. But while changing the value system is not giving the budget exceeded error.

From the above output i think system is not capturing the PR commitment. I'm not sure as i'm basically into MM and dont know much about PS.
Why the system is stopping with budget exceeded error at the time of PR creation and not giving any error while changing the PR value after PO creation. System is giving budget exceeded error if quantity is changed in PR. Please explain the standard system behavior and suggest how to enable control at the time of PR value change.

EXC_BAD_ACCES at object that exists (Does not appear on NSZombieEnabled)

Hello everybody, I got an EXC_BAD_ACCES. I made upa n iPhone/iPad App, and one day testing it on iPhoneSimulator, I found that the app chrashes, when I´m trying to remove something from an array. I have a Selfmade object-class, called Box. In every box are 6 NSMutableArrays. In the init method, they are all alloced and inited, and of cause they have to be released in dealoc. And in this dealoc, I get an EXC_BAD_ACCES on the last array, although its handled exactly like the other five. I turned on NSZombieEnabled, to fight the bug. But it was away. Everything worked well. So I thought it might be just a bug of the iPhoneSimulator. Now I´m testing the App on a real device, and the Bug comes back. Not when I turn on NSZombieEnabled on Xcode and start it from there, but if I´m starting it on the device (an iPad 1) itself. So I tried different things: 1.) I set a breakpoint right before the release. I found out that the object is NOT released at this time. It has a place in the Memory, and it seems just like a complete object. This is strange, because such errors usually appear on overreleased objects. 2.) I tried to log the retainCount of the object. It ended in the same EXC_BAD_ACCES as the release. 3.) I tried to Log the retainCount of the object #5 wich is released before #6 without any kind of problem. This is intressting, because it leads to an bad_acces in the [array removeObjectAtIndex:... line. 4.) I thought: If there is an bad_acces on these objects, why should I release them? So I commented out the dealoc funktion. It worked. But instruments showed tons of leaks. So this is no option. In conclusion:
There is an EXC_BAD_ACCES although the objects are not overreleased.
This error does not appear with NSZombieEnabled
The objects are there, they EXIST, instruments shows that and Xcode, too. But there is an bad_acces anyway.
I am really confused, and I don´t know an answer, I have never seen anything like this before.
I´m waiting for iOS 5 with Garbage collector

I have created webservice datasources to fetch EP data to BW. and now i am transporting that Datasources from DEV to QA. I have colllected datasources alone in one req. (source system i have created in QA manually and i mapped that with DEV)
But while transporting i am getting the folllowing error,
3S3T   Start of the after-import method RS_RSDS_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) RSDS (Activation Mode)
Error Screen output without connection to user .
Error when activating DataSource ZANS_MASTER BI7001
Please through some light is there any predefined settings i need to do in QA system?.

There are no R/3 Datasources involved. Our BI Cockpit landscape is based upon only BI system. No data transfer to take place between R/3 and BI.
Secondly, you mean to say that I need to replicate my Source system in Production and then proceed with the transporting of the requests from Dev to Prod.
But I never did the same in Quality while transporting from Dev. Is it that it might have been done in Quality beforehand by someone ?
Also, when the Datasources have not been transported to Production (resulting in error) then how can i replicate these datasources in Production ???

Error while transporting Generic Datasource in R/3

Hi All,
I have created a generic datasource(R/3) on a view. As it was in $TMP, I have assigned the datasource, ZABCD, and the view, ZVIEW to a devlopment package and also to a transport request. I released the Transport request and when I tried to import it into Q, it throwed me an error with below messages:
Extract structure ZOX**** is not active
The extract structure ZOX**** of the DataSource ZABCD is invalid
Errors occurred during post-handling RSA2_DSOURCE_AFTER_IMPORT for OSOA L
The errors affect the following components:
BC-BW (SAP Business Information Warehouse Extractors)
The extract structure ZOX**** is the structure used by the datsource. I forgot to assign that to the earlier TR and I think the error is because the structure is missing in the TR. Am I correct?
How should I deal with it now? DO I need to create a new TR with this structure alone as the earlier TR is already released?

As you comment it is possible error was not include the structure in earlier TR.
You can create, in se09 or se10, an empty TR. In these transactions you have a buttoun with a box drawed. Set focus on your new empty TR and push button.
Add object from TR transported with error and the missed structure.

Transport error - rsds does not exists

I getting error " Target RSDS Z_ZDDP_HISTORY QASCLNT400 does not exist" while transporting some DSO with "before" option. It is strange because:
1. data source Z_ZDDP_HISTORY DO EXISTS in QAS system!
2. it is also exists on ECC side
3. the option "conversion of logical system" is checked

As Mansi said, you need to make sure that you transport Active datasource from ECC and BW end as well. After ECC transport perform Replication in BW and then transport BW datasource replica.
This should resolve your problem.
