Hi dear,
if you have created a new factory calendar in your source system, you need to transfer global settings (right-click on source system icon in BW workbench) to have it on your BW...
Hope it helps!

  • Tables for Factory Calendar

    Hello
I am looking for the schema of the connections / relationships between the calendar tables:
    TFACD     Factory calendar definition
    TFACS     Factory calendar (display)
    TFACT     Factory calendar texts
TFAIN     Calendar: Intervals for company holidays, special shifts
TFAIT     Calendar: Text for factory calendar intervals
    THOC     Public Holiday Calendar
    THOCD     Public holiday definitions
    THOL     Public Holidays
    THOLT     Public holiday text
    and more, if more exist....
Do you have any documentation, how these tables relates each other? WHat actually they contain?
    Thanks in advance,
    Kooyot

    Hello Kooyot,
in ta. SE11 there is a button "Graphic" (or use key combination Ctrl.ShiftF11), where you can display all relevant table relationships. You can do this in this dialog by clicking on the buttons "Ing.", "Outg.", "Check Tables" and "Foreign key tables", probably you have to change the focus in the "Display Area" to reach all dependent relationships, which you can see in detail by clicking on the edges between the tables.
    Hope this helps,
    regards Martin

  • Transport of Factory Calendar

    Hi BI Gurus,
I have created a new factory calendar in BI Development system and transported to Quality system successfully. When i proceed to transport to Production system, it return RC = 0 but I couldn't find the newly created Factory Calendar in BI production system.
is there something related to authorization? Any pre-requisites to transport factory calendar? Please shed some light on my issue. Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Pei Fung

    Hi Rasim,
    Thanks for you reply.
Understand that the best practice might be load from the source system to BW.
The factory calendar can be transported to BW Quality system successfully and the newly created calendar id appeared in SCAL. Why the same factory calendar is not appeared in BW Production system after transport with RC=0?
Are there any steps that I miss out when transport of this calendar?
    Please advice. Thanks.

  • Transport of factory calendar changes

    Hello Experts!
I have a question, why changes to the factory calander needs to be transported if the initial screens on the transaction says that any change will affect all clients.
    Thanks,
    Alejandro Espinola

    Dear Alejandro Espinola,
Whatever changes happen in production server it should be transport from Development & Quality.
Because if any other develpement going on development server that time all criteria should be meet as per  production server. Other wise whaterver delopment will be failed when transport in production server.
And developer alway making the coding on development server. IF anything in wrong in developement server will be reflated in production after transport.
    Think as like Big Corporate.

  • How to transport Factory calendar to Production

    Hello PP Gurus !,
I have a question regarding transporting factory calendar to production system . Is there  any specific way of moving the transport request from development to production ? or it is as usual like other config transportation ?
I was told that there is a special procedure to transport factory calendar . Please throw me some light on this .
    Regards,
    Giri

    Jiaul,
First of all, I only need to transport this configuration from DEV Client 301 to QA.
Referring to another SDN note, our Basis Team has changed the Client Role to Customizing, and make the system changable and client independent. Now, the "Transport" function is enabled.
We finally able to transport the Factory Calendar. But when we click on the "Transport", it warned us that "All public holidays, public holiday and factory calendars will be transported. All public holidays, public holiday and factory calendars will first be deleted in the target system."
Like Xioliu mentioned in the same message: "this kind of transport is a table transport, that is , if you use it, all table entries in the target system will be overwritten from the source client.
this is not a SAP recommended transport."
I feel that this is a high risk if we transport the whole table.
Is that a way that we can just transport the two Factory Calendar entries we added (without manually re-create in the system.). The purpose is that we need a TR # generated, so that we can transport to Production with proper transport log.
    Thanks for advise.

  • Transport factory Calendar ( T. code

    Hi,
    Warm Greetings,
How to Transport Factory calender to Production, transaction code used (SCAL) . As changes are been made in Development to factory calendar year as 2010 Workbench request  can be seen in se10)
But dont know how to process to quality, & production
    Badly in need of solution
    regards & thank u shamulheq

Changes to calendar data are not automatically included in a correction request.
For the calendar data to be utilizable in another system, use the function Transport in the initial screen of the maintenance transaction.
Note that you cannot transport individual public holidays or calendars. You can only transport calendar data in its entirety. When you do this, all public holidays, public holiday and factory calendars existing in the target system are deleted.

  • Factory calendar - OP03

    Hello,
If I do the settings for factory calendar in OP03, instead of OY05 and OX10, will I get a Transport request, and I won't have to transport manually the settings?
    Ileana

    Hello lleana,
No, you can not get the transport request, since it (Maintain Calendar) is a manual transport type customization in IMG Display.
Note: In order to maintain the calendar (which intern you will have to do the things in the R/3 system like creation of public holidays -> holiday calendar -> factory calendar)
the entire process is manual and there is no generation of transport request when you save it. And in the production system also you need to do the same since the customization of the above (your query) requirement is Manual transport type.
which is similar to the Maintaining of Number ranges....
The above customization is to be done directly in PRD system (you can not transport from DEV or QAS to PRD system, since this mapping is manual transport type)
    Hope this will clarifies you,
    Rewards, if it helps,
    Regards,
    Srin.K

  • Factory Calendar update

    Hell All
For plant my client is requesting that 26 December 2014 be marked as a non working day. The plant is
all taking this day as one of their floating holidays and need it considered as
non work day in factory calendar to extend their Christmas break.
Is there any impact if we do this for other module etc.,,what would be best way if we do through open client or landscape.
Can anyone tell me how to do the same.
    Regards
    Ananthi

    Hello Remi,
While I try to create a workbench request it shows the target system deletes the Holiday calendar.Factory Calendar etc.,after moving the TR it deletes the initial and overwrites ?
when I try to check for transport conflict analysis it takes production logon which never happens before.
Also here I have made the changes for Factory calendar alone in special rule, whereas no changes to holiday calendar, for this case is it require to run the work schedule rule.

  • Working days between two date fields and Changing Factory Calendar

    Hi,
I have to calculate working days between two date fields excluding the weekends and public holidays for Switzerland.
I have written the routine using factory calender and its working fine except for two problems now:
    1. If any one of the date field is empty then teh rsult should be zero.
    2. And the below code is working from 1996 but my cleints wants it to work for years before 1996 as well.
I also tried to change the Start date in SCAL for factory calendar but it says enter values between 1995 to 2020.
I am new to ABAP. Please help me how i can achieve these for below code.
DATA: IT_HOLIDAYS type TABLE OF ISCAL_DAY,
          IS_HOLIDAYS TYPE ISCAL_DAY.

    CLEAR : IT_HOLIDAYS.
    T_DATE = SOURCE_FIELDS-/BIC/ZCCCHP812.
    P_DATE = SOURCE_FIELDS-/BIC/ZCCCHP810.
    CALL FUNCTION 'HOLIDAY_GET'

  • How to download factory calendar from R/3 to CRM

    Hi,
I have tried to search some threads regarding this topic but not get any answers.
Can someone help me on steps on how to download the factory calendar from R/3 to CRM?
I have tried to do through request (R3AR2) but it did not recognize the table TFACD in R/3.
    Quick replies are deeply appreciated.
    Best Regards.

    Hi Angelo,
I did a little of Google on the Factory Calendar Stuff and got to know that you can Transport a Factory Calendar from one system to another. You can have a look at the Factory Calendar Customization from where you can the information about how to transfer it from one system to another. I have never worked in this but thought it might be a little help to you.
You can get the link to Factory calendar from the following --> SAP NetWeaver    --> General Settings --> Maintain Calendar.
Also, have a look at the following links:
Download Factory Calendar R/3 to CRM

    Hope this will help.

  • Difference between calendar used in capacity profile & factory calendar?

    Hello experts
I am trying to check available capacities in planning book & found some ambiguities.
In /SAPAPO/RES01, factory calendar maintained in the resource is say Z1, but in the same page, the capacity profile tab uses a different calendar.Say in Z1, if X/X/XXXX is a working day, the one present inside capacity profile considers it as a holiday & the  available capacity doesn't reflect in planning book.
In ECC, the plant where this work center is defined follows calendar Z1.
So my doubt is which calendar the capacity profile follows & how to ensure that it follows the same factory calendar Z1?
    Regards
    Soum

    Hello Soumyajit,
    few things you can check,
Plant and work center calender assignment should be same, Plant has precedent over WC
Check if in CFC9 you have correct change transfer mode set for resource.
Once calender updated in ECC, use program RSIMPCUST to rebuild the tables for factory calendars in APO and then run /SAPAPO/CRES_CREATE_LC_RES to extend the resource in LC
also run /SAPAPO/TIMESTREAM_UPDATE for any time stream update.
This will update capacity profile as well resource capacity in planning book/ planning board.
Hope this info will help you,
    Thanks,
    Rajiv

  • Factory calendar where used?

Suppose a particular plant wants to add 2 days this month as holidays in their factory calendar.
Before doing the actual change I want to actually check whether there are work centers in other plants in the company code which is using this calendar. How can I check this ?
Is there a where used list for factory calendar?

    HI
Check Tables CRCA for capacity allocation of work center then KAKO for the same capacity id assigned to work center and Factory calender ID
    Check and revert

  • Factory calendar attached to reference objects

    Hi,
While creating date types and date duration we can attach reference objects to them. But where do we see the time zones and the factory calendar settings maintained against a reference object?
    Regards,
    -Sweta

    Hi Sweta
If you want to add company holiday to take in account while calculating End date then config for Factory calendar / Holiday
SAP Implementation Guide> SAP Web Application Server>General Settings-->Maintain calendar
Once u done with config, use FM BUSINESS_DATE_CREATE for End date creation.
I am still finding how to attach the FC to Reference object. If i get will post u again.
hope you able to get your result.

  • Transport for SCAL 'factory calender' or administer SCAL in prod system?

    Hi togehther,
we could change the factory calender in the development system and afterwords transport this changes by using a transport request and STMS.
But our Consultants recommend not to transport these changes. They recommend to open the prod System with SCC4 to open status (Changes are allowed) and then make the changes in the prod system.
I think, this is the wrong way. How do you solve this probem?
    Carsten Schulz
    Teamlead SAP-Basis

    Hi ,
You are consultants are right because SAP clear tells that "You cannot transport individual public holidays or calendars. You can only transport calendar data in its entirety. When you do this, all public holidays, public holiday and factory calendars existing in the target system are deleted".
As from your mail i understood that in development system, all users have access to to SCAL transaction,if some users have craeted or changed the factory calendar changes.all this changes get in to trnsport request which in turn affect the calendars in production system.
Thats Y in some industries,Consultants will do the changes through fire fighter ID directly in production or in some industries for development system SCAL authorization will not be given to all.so that as Juregn pointed development and production system will be in SYnc and you can do transport.
In this situation you can try one more option, after generating the transport request go to SE01 ,go to change mode and edit the request (double click on the request).
then go to obects tab you will see lot of tables related to factory calendar.check each tables in SE16 for the calendar you made the changes.if entries are there retain the table else delete the table.
If entries are there, then double click on the table, you will get the table key.in that put calendar id if there is only one entry,if more entries are ther e put calendar id suffix star.and save.
Check this solution first intest system and ensure whether it is trnsaporting only the particular changes
